hi i was wondering if some one could help me out i have just got hold of a sony experia x10 and the incoming sound isnt very loud so i went on to the web and it came up to inprove the sound i had to download a program called tapatalk so i have downloaded it on to my phone so i was wondering if some one could help me and let me know where i go from here to get it to work on my phone any help will be great full as i am a newbbie to this i am using andriod version 2.3.3 if this is any help to you please help me out thanks mark

I recently purchased the xperia x10i and now i am facing the most basic phone problem i.e. the in-ear volume is very low. I updated my phone to 2.1 but still no change. One thing that I am aware of is that my phone's hardware is fine because whenever i go into secret service menu and test the volume it is fine.
So what i wanted ask was is there a fix for this problem or any sort of app that can enhance the volume of my phone..??

My flatmate's phone is an Xperia X10a on 3 mobile. When they bought it the shop person said to upgrade (it was 1.6 so no kidding!!). I told my flatmate I'd sort it for them (I'm keen to push the android front!), so I downloaded the official update programs (both of them) and found out first hand how useless Sony is, but it said that I already had the newest version; ugggh.
So I came here and installed the generic official 2.1 rom (through the flashing tool here). It's great, everything seemed to work, but the internet doesn't work over 3G. It works fine over the wifi, just not over 3G.
What are my options here? I'd really like to get this sorted!

have you downloaded the APN setting for that network?
if you are not sure ...go to settings, click on sony ericsson and click on settings download

Thanks for the quick responses. So after a quick google, that's the access point name, which tells it how to connect specifically to my carriers network?
I had a quick look through the documents, and three mobile.au is in there, so I'm guessing it's fine. My flat mate isn't home right now so I can't attempt it. It seems like it just figures it out itself when you have the list, I'm surprised there isn't some sort of selection process.

I am facing a problem in my xperia x10. When I get a call while in a current call, my phone automatically puts the first call on hold, and answers the second call without giving me the option.
What is the problem and how could i fix it?

Similar thing happens to me when I switched to a MIUI rom, i guess a different dial-er could fix the problem but I don't know how to do that xD

Hi everybody! I have the generic GB installed (rooted) and I installed xRecovery on it yesterday so that I can apply the audio stutter fix. It worked wonderfully and my phone got rid of the annoying problem and I want to thank everyone that made this possible. But... after the install for some reason I have the following issue. When my headset is plugged in (which is all the time) and I receive a call or a notification, the sound doesnt come out of the phone's speaker as usual. It only rings through the headset. That was not the case before. I couldnt find any settings to change this and put it back as it was. I really dont know what happened and how. Can anyone that has the Generic GB installed and xRecovery and the stutter fix installed on top of it please confirm this? Thanks everyone in advance!
hi i am using sony xperia p,now i have an issue with call volume,when i tries to call some one volume level at middle,then i changed to full then call ends.after few minutes i also tried to call some one else then the volume level becomes default,so i needed to change the volume to high is that an software bug?this phone is running on android ics?if any one can help me?

I have same phone with same android version but iI don't have such problem. Try go to settings-->sound-->volumes and here make max volume on that little phone icon. If that dont help I dont know what to do more :/ maybie try repair it with seus(if you really know that this is software problem)
