So I paid for xda premium app now I can't reply or post where I need to! How many times do i have to reply here before I can go to the correct section GAY!!!!!! If I would of known I wouldnt of bought the app!!!

They are no more or less needed features in the premium app opposed to the free. The reason most people purchase is to support XDA. If you are refering to needing 10 posts to post in development i would say that now you have at least 1 towards that goal and would advise you to reconsider your "entitled" attitude before doing so. Most here will not reply to it as politely as I have. Just my .02

Just wanted to say thank you for the support in my threads. It seems my thread stalker has serious issues. Unfortunately my thread was deleted before I got to read what you said, but I appreciate the backup. I hate to say it but the childish ones have turned this forum into flame heaven. A few developers have already left as well as several members. I swear the average owner of this phone must be 12 years old or just have no friends.
This being the general section people can pretty much post what they want as there are posts about tablets and other things that have nothing to do with the 3d. That is the point of having a general section.
Anyway, I hate the fact my thread was closed as I wanted you guys to see the new note. It is truly an awesome device and although not everyone is interested in it, there were several people who were and sent me pm's.
Although I spend most of my time in the Note forums now I do check in here to see what is happening as I have gotten to know several of you guys and many of you have helped me out over the months.
I wish everyone could get along and the internet wrestling would stop. There are friends to be made here and people out to help.
Lets see how long this thread stays open before the flaming begins...........

Not to be rude but I think if people wanted to see it they could easilly Google it. Or better yet go somewhere and see it in person. Just saying.

Within the last couple months, OP decided that the best way to fight flamers was to open

Not thread stalking you, just trying to keep the EVO 3D section to relevant posts that help the community. Coming in and starting a thread pretty much bragging that you got a new phone does nothing for the community. And then starting a new thread complaining about it when it gets deleted, what else is there to say? I can't even count how many threads of yours got deleted or moved because of my statement above. I am sorry that you think that I thread stalk you, but man, you make it soooooooooo easy.

Or, look at my posts and see that helpful, productive members of the community also do not condone these types of threads. There is a standard that should be upheld here by all of XDA
members.
General section is for general threads ABOUT the evo 3D. That is why it is the Evo 3D general section.
This position that you have that "everyone should like what I have to say", or "what I say is better then <insert anything>" is childish.
You are why this place is going downhill, not because of the people who have gown impatient with your frivolous threads, posts, etc...

Lmao, ask around, I bet people loved that thread. It was quite great. Unfortunately, I didn't take the time to see if there was already a similar thread, hence it was closed.
So, good job, you cite a thread that was to help the members of the community....

What satisfaction do you get from the constant barrage of XDA? Does it make you feel special to 'win' arguments,

This pointless thread clutters up the forum just as bad as someone who doesn't use the search function and posts something, there hasn't even been a problem of redundant threads in this forum (yet).
The phone has been out less than a week and we have like 4 or 5 tmobile threads, 4 visual voicemail, atleast 3 city id, i see a pattern coming on.

I agree. This should probably be stickied, as it is quite difficult to follow a thread with so many new redundant ones being created. I may have at some point, but if the number of new redundant posts is reduced, it will be better for everybody.
That being said, a whole lot of the users here are completely new to android and XDA as a result, therefore they don't fully know the rules and will need to learn. Having this thread stickied would probably help that.
I can appreciate your intentions, but I guarantee you someone who was planning on opening a redundant thread is not going to open this thread first and have some mind-blowing epiphany about the metastasizing cancer of reckless thread starting without using the search feature and thus starting a thread about something that's been previously posted about.
Besides, the mods here would get bored.

It regards a theme/app but it is still a general q question. You cannot remove a thread (unless directed by a mod) once you have posted it. I would remove a couple of my own otherwise >.> . People do get way too obnoxious about their "rules" and honestly it doesn't prevent noobs from making the same mistakes over and over again anyways, so I think it's stupid of them. But they are trying to teach you that they hate you because of what you did, lol. It's not a big deal. People just have sticks up their butt because everyone assumes that everyone else hates the rules being broken all the time. Personally, it does keep clutter down if things aren't double posted. But this forum is so massive anyway, that regardless of double posts, there's a lot to go through..so to each their own. Not a big deal to me. I'm glad you found the answer yourself, and this double post actually REMINDED me, that I still needed to search for the stock weather widget, so thanks

Ok...since i was the first to point out the double post, and the thread seems to be getting out of hand, I just wanted to say that my intention was never to flame anyone. I simply pointed out that this was a double post, and I asked the op, in what I thought was a polite way, to please not double post in the future because I know people here don't like it and because it does clutter the boards. From there the thread just got out of hand. I don't know what I did to offend the op, but whatever it was I apologize.

I don't really like the rules even tho im sure there is a reason. But for a romer like me whose been roming since droid A855 its rough. I never post because I usaully just read through the forum if I have a problem. But I finally had a question that nobody asked and I couldn't post because of the rules. I just wish maybe a questionnaire or something could be used to evaluate who is new to roming or if u just are new to XDA. This isn't a rant just post of clarification.

I have seen this brought up in the forums of the past 5 phones I have owned. That is over a 2.5 year period. I've never seen XDA even attempt to care to try this.
It was also discussed that you would have to past a questionnaire or test before you could post in the developer sections period. To many people post in the dev section when they shouldn't.
