Is there a change log or any known worthwhile reason to update to this version?

I believe it's updated every time a Gapps type app updates, so I'd bet it was the recent Voice update.
Zero reason to "upgrade" as all of the google apps (to my knowledge) update from the market now.
a bugfix is a bugfix and an update is an update, no reason other than keeping current.
Today, the developer of an app has announced that his new version of app has been already uploaded to Play Store. However, after near half day, there was still no notification about the update from Play Store. Moreover, I tried to uninstall then reinstall it, it still the old version.
What actually happened to Play Store / developer / my phone?

Version of Android is not the issue, because some users using different phone also suffered from the same problem. (such as Nexus 4, Note 2, etc)
delete it , and download apk to pc . copy it to your phone , then install again

Fixed, developer replied that he only updated about 50% of users yesterday. The rest of us will receive it today (including me)
I found some build instructions at chromium.org and some public repo (not google's) at github, but so far no apk.
I'm asking because I couldn't find a video or demo of chromium running on android either which makes me wonder if it works at all or just limited to a webview basic mode.

I saw it once and tried researching it but could not find it again. Not 1 apk but 2. You need them both. I do not remember their names.

Sounds like some modded whatsapp apks I seen, but couldn't find anything either
Wonder how difficult would it be to couple the chromium-based webview with a browser UI

Yes, but it gets released everyday.
The trick with the official build of Chromium for Android is that it's constantly being released by the Chromium team.
These builds don't auto-update, so you need to install new builds occasionally( I install a new build every day, personally).
I put together an app getChromium that's available on Google Play(can't link anything in here yet) that securely pulls the latest build from the official repository and installs it.
Code's on github.

You should place the link to your app here for the playstore

The app wasn't being used correctly by most of the users acquired on Google Play, so I've actually permanently moved it to GitHub. https://github.com/andDevW/getChromium. People all over the world were using it to install Chromium and then uninstalling it, unaware that the Chromium browser they're using will never update itself.
it worked fine for the first few weeks I had greenify installed, but a couple of weeks ago on both my Nexus 5 & Nexus 7 2013, the screen will not turn off after auto hibernation. greenify still has all the device permissions and accessibility and unsecured lock screen it needs to do this, any ideas?
Which version are you using? There is 2.4.4 beta in the Playstore. Try it and see whether your issue goes away.
Thanks for the reply

Thanks for the response. I am running 2.4.3. Unfortunately, Greenify beta is not showing up in the Playstore for me (just the 2.4.3 version is showing up). I've found the 2.4.4 apk at a few other websites, but am hesitant to download them from there (I'm not sure how secure those sites are). Do you have a download link that you trust, or could you post the apk?
Thanks

To get the official beta apk, there are 2 methods. I believe you could have already know this earlier if you open the main thread of Greenify. Please search the forum thoroughly. Anyway in the main post,
Join [G+ community] or [Google Group] then [OPT-IN] to receive beta version directly from Google Play. (You will get 404 error without first joining community or group)

If you want to install them manually without play store, you can go to oasisfeng's dropbox folder for that matter.
Please do a recent backup before using the Beta for easy downgrading.
These are the last and latest updates to snapshare and keepchat. These apps are not being updated anymore because the developers quit updating them. I did not create them, I am just sharing them with everyone. Im creating this post because I've seen people have been wanting these. And once they had their last update I downloaded the apks to my pc just to keep.
*I think both of the apps work on Version 8.0 and lower. Dont quote me on that. But I know for sure it doesnt work on the latest updates.*
Ive also thought about trying to update them myself. But I dont want to do it without the developers permession. But if everyone would like them updated then Ill update them. So let me know
IIRC they worked on v9.3.1 but now there's a thing that requires snapchat to be fully updated for you to login, which breaks using older versions. Hence the "need" for updated Snapshare,Snapprefs,Keepchat.

FIX to Downgrade:
Install Xposed Xinstaller - Reboot
Install newset version of Snapchat
Xinstaller - Installations - Downgrading apps
then install any version of Snapchat & you'll be fine will need the older modules

Does it work? I was using Keepchat and Snapchat from around version 5 up until I noticed it was broken today. Is there a solution?

Use SnapPrefs -- it's being updated regularly and works with latest versions.

Great advice, thanks very much. I think it's only the beta versions of SnapPrefs that works with the latest version of Snapchat but the latest stable version does work with an old version of Snapchat. Either way, it's a big improvement over Keepchat. Thanks again.
