For those of you not using the SOUROM in the dev section, I thought you might like to see how you can customize the pull down notification bar using the "deluxe settings". My home screen now is completely un-cluttered! Tons of other cool settings too!

um, deluxe settings? I am rooted NO CWR YET....how do i do this?
You will need CWR to flash Sourom. Deluxe Settings is built into that ROM. Instructions are in the dev thread related to that ROM.

OH...well the first post says...for those of you NOT using SAUROM....
EDIT: Your OP needs changing then.......the way it is worded is if you are NOT running SAUROM then you can do this...I guess your NOT is supposed to be NOW?

Was sort of confusing though
But i looked at sarom, looks like theres still some bugs, esp with the LTE speeds
Guess its impossible to pop out just the deluxe settings huh?
If someone felt like messing with framework and .jar thingy it could probably be done to stock rom.

Hey would anyone be interested in having an Alien inspired theme for their swype kb? ive been messing around all day with a personal swype theme but i figured there might be at least one other person that might wanna have a different look and feel compared to traditional swype...its no where near being complete but im at a good start since last night....

i kinda wish i chose a different font but ehh it might change later on...i just an idea i had and started running with it. im sure there will be some changes but if i get some decent feedback on this Q&A (assuming enough people look here, although every other thread might tell otherwise) ill work on the theme some more and post it up so others can do the same..

I just bought a HTC amaze replacing my very good Desire. I'm not in S-off, can you tell me how I can do? If I remember correctly, after that I must have a recovery ( Amonra or clockwormod) and finally a rom, correct?

this is a pretty hard to find skin made by thyrus. note that not all features are available unless you apply the theme with it, so if you want the theme, you have to be runnning a deodexed rom...and find the theme yourself this is only the skin for those that just want the skin

Waste of 20 minutes IMO. Facebook acts all wonky, hardly notice a difference and my battery life was done for in 6 hours, which for me was like WTF! I always get at least 8 using the phone a lot.
Also not sure what is so special about Apex launcher. Maybe someone can edumacate me on that.
Dropped a call as well, which I never had happen on GB.
Overall most works fine, just not seeing what all the hype was about. Only thing I like is swyping away previous pages.....

It will and it should. Not sure about the problems you've run into, but I've never had the issues you mentioned. Maybe try reflashing?
Can I reflash GB? I guess this is as good a time to root .....again. I am rusty, look forward to a PM, LOL!

HTC trace is just like swype go into your keyboard settings and turn it on.
Edit: go keyboard touch settings then trace

Anyone having issues with their messages using the same ringtone with each contact? I even switched out the default and still the same tone....weird! At least it is a good song, lol! Still....what gives?

Is there anyone working on New Roms or Kernels for the At&T Optimus G? Running Nocturnal and it works awesome, but I really like AOKP, and a kernel with an overclock would be awesome (although is it really necessary, lol). This thing knocks the socks of my Nexus 7 even stock, that really surprised me since they are both quad core, lol.
