Telus Amaze Bootloader Unlock - HTC Amaze 4G

Hey guys when i go to the HTCDEV site to unlock my Telus Amaze 4G bootloader, it doesnt list telus on that list. It shows me T-Mobile, WIND, and Mobilicity, no Telus ...
the phone is unlocked and running on WIND MObile Network, Originally purchased from Telus.
How would i go about unlocking this? Clicking on Wind would work aswell?
Sorry for the noob question.

I unlocked 2 weeks ago, at htcdev scroll down and pick other supported devices. Worked for my telus amaze

[Q] Wind Mobile HTC Amaze no custom roms?

Got my Amaze a couple days ago and im loving it! But im reading reports on HTCdev and not having a way to install custom roms by locking the bootloader. I came from a Xperia X10 and loved custom roms i looked through some here and they look even better, but this bummed me out is there any news on this? Im reading reports of work-arounds?
There's nothing we can do about it right now. The HTC Dev only has Amaze 4G - T-Mobile in it's list. I'm worried small networks like wind and mobilicity won't bother giving us that option.. I got mine from mobilicity for $499, I would've gotten it from telus if there wasn't much price difference.. Telus has more chances of getting added to the list..
For now I'm just wondering if anyone has some knowledge on this, can we change the CID (Carrier ID) on our wind, telus or mobilicity phones so that we can trick the htc dev website into thinking that it's a T-Mobile phone? jussayin'
the only way you can do that is by changing ur phone's IMEI but nobody gonna tell you how to do it because they end up in prison.

But what if I do it for a lilll bit of time and change it as soon as i unlock my phones bootloader and then revert it back to it's original IMEI. That shouldn't hurt anyone
the only way to change it to a tmobile cid would require having s-off so no such luck i would say sell the amaze that you have for what you can get or return it it just came out for wind and import a tmobile amaze it has penta band suport so it will do 4g on all the networks up there

Can't return it, got it in a promotion And I don't want to get into the hassle of selling and buying another again cause I sold Galaxy SII to get this phone added 100$ on top of that to get this So I'm outta of luck for now.
Do you think there's any chance there'll be a 2nd method of unlocking the bootloader in the future other than the official HTC method?
If you get the unlock code from Wind/Mobilocity and unlock it for any network you should have no problem selling it for $400+ on eBay or XDA Marketplace and being able to pick up a T-Mobile one unlocked for $420-$450.
I unlocked my Telus amaze even though it's "not supported". Have you tried?

I tried it tonight with the WIND variant of the Amaze 4G no go, like the others I cant return mine either so for the moment we are stuck hoping eventually HTCDev adds our version and mobilicity's to the list of supported devices. I have prodded them through all avenues I can think of who knows maybe if enough of us make a nuisance of ourselves they might take pity on us
One can still root the phone and install the clockworkmod and 3rd party rom.
how? isnt it just a temp root?
Amaze costs me 569 bucks because I bought it full price. That's with taxes, but yeah you could get like 450 bucks if you sell, its practically a new phone

I got my Amaze from a Telus customer for cheap. Used the HTCDev site and unlocked it without issue. Running great with Mobilicity now.
Is getting it unlocked the main issue people are having? Cause I have yet to install custom roms, but from what I can see I shouldn't have any issues?

Same here. Bought from someone on Telus unlocked and using on Mobi. I can install any rom.
I bought the htc amaze wind version from a guy on craigslist and it was already rooted and running energy rom
Edit: FFS, this was a dead topic. Please lock/close/something.

Will my rooted unlocked Atrix work on TMobile US?

It's running CM7.2 stable.
I'm selling it to someone who wants to use TMobile. What do I have to do?

Is it sim unlocked or bootloader unlocked? If its sim unlocked, just put the T-mobile sim in. Note that until T-Mobile starts activating more of their AT&T compatible 1900Mhz spectrum, you'll only get Edge.

It's bootloader unlocked. And I'm selling it so.. Lol. I told the buyer to use an online service to get an unlock code.

[Q] Just bought an AT&T HTC One and..

I'm new to Android.. coming from iPhone and WP7/8.
I love the HTC one and paid cash for this phone. I hate being controlled by the carrier when it comes to updates.... I know now.. that next time I will buy a unlocked/developer version if available.
My question is this. Being that it is an AT&T version, can i unlock the boot loader (assuming they haven't stopped this yet) and enable receiving my software updates directly from HTC? Just like the Dev phones.
I'm not so interested in "rooting" and loading custom Rom's at this point.. i just want to make sure i get the updates ASAP.. I don't want to wait on AT&T. (I wouldn't mind deleting some of the AT&T crap off the phone though)
I have searched Google and this forum and can not find an answer that is in such simple terms that i understand it lol ... sorry if this is a stupid question.
No.

Why would you buy an att device to use on tmo anyways?

You can unlock the bootloader, you'll need the carrier's help to SIM unlock. Check out the tutorial in the development section.
Unlocking your bootloader has nothing to do with when your phone gets updated.

Also, I don't believe that T-Mobile 4G HSPA or 4G LTE will work on the AT&T version. (But I wonder if the T-Mobile version of the phone will work on AT&T's network?)
If you want to run on T-Mobile US, you need the T-Mobile US version of the phone.

Wind Mobile compatible?

I am looking to sign up with Wind Mobile and get the HTC One, they recently just got it.
I could not find a Wind Mobile specified forum for the HTC One, is the T-Mobile HTC One technically the same as Wind's?
Need clarification before signing up, currently using a ATT S3
Most gsm phones are the same AT&T and T-Mobile asd long as it's not cdma like sprint or Verizon you will be okay I have T-Mobile version but use HTC One forums is kinda dead here to be honest

They said most TMobile phones, you can use on WIND. I'm pretty sure you can use it on WIND cause they use the same spectrum.

T-mobile HTC one works with Wind, you just need to unlock it. T-mobile has 60 days policy before you can unlock your phone. I'm on Wind using T-mobile HTC one.
Wind also just released their own AWS band HTC one

Can T-mobile HTC Amaze work on AT&T?

Hi
I have an HTC amaze 4g which was T-mobile phone. If it works on T-mobile, will it automatically work on At&t?
Unlock my phone.

Not automatically--it must be unlocked if it is not already unlocked.
