Highest I have got is a 57mbps speedtest. Anyone break 60? Please back it up with a screenshot. I will try possibly today on a remote hill with an LTE tower right next to it.
Most I've been getting is 24 in the OC / LA market area. Also I've been experiencing upload failure on the speed test in certain areas. Not sure if its just the test or my phone or the network. Anyone else experience that?
From December 2, 2011 in near my home in Plano, Texas north of Dallas.
Up on the tower don't count

Wow! There are times I wish I hadn't moved to Alabama from Plano (we lived close to Alma & Hedgcoxe). We just got H+ a couple weeks ago here. Closest LTE is in Atlanta to me. I did drive over there Sunday to see if my LTE worked, got an average of 20M down and 12M up.

Not sure how long ago you moved but that area is booming. Frisco, Allen and McKinney are some of the fastest growing cities in Texas. Plano is about 270,000 now! It is pretty much matured so the cities North are booming! Collin County is a great place to live!
This speed test was done at Parkwood just east of the Tollway. We have some great LTE in DFW and Texas for that matter. I have seen 56mbps in San Antonio & Austin and 50's in Houston!

I'm in South OC and seeing the same speeds where I work in Lake Forest. The first couple of days after the launch I saw the same upload failure you're talking about. In atleast the last week speedtests have been working fine all the way through.

I have not had the high download speeds over the past few days. Have done a bunch of speed tests, downloads speeds take off when the speed test first begins, then seem settle right around 5500kbs. This is true in my house (suburb of Chicago), and downtown Chicago. I was consistently hitting between 8000 and 14000 before. Anyone else notice this?
Mine dropped also. In STL. Was seeing ~7-10 down, 30+ up. Am now seeing 2-3 down, 25 up. 4g (of course), 2 bars.
I'm still getting the same 30-40mbps down in Fort Worth.
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA App
Still getting 33+ Mbit download here in Dallas, but it seems like upload speeds are capped for me (speedtest quickly climbs to 5Mbit, but then just hovers at around 5.1Mbit). 3-4 bars.
Also, funkybside: Don't use the Speedtest.Net App. The upload speeds are incorrect. Just go directly to the site in your browser (might need to switch the useragent to "Desktop") and test it there.
Still strong for me all over DFW.
I extremely rarely get faster than 6-8Mbps outside of Philly. Even tried if downtown was better over the weekend, but was the same
increased network usage? / more customers per tower?

Verizion is still doing upgrades and testing on the software. No caps here guys... Just Verizion doing testing on bad times. They have also said they do encounter issues and notices leaks on LTE in which requires users to call if noticing connection dropages. Just something I might tell you all. I get 15 MBs download and 3 Upload. I keep calling them when I notice connection issues and they fix it within a day.

Just ran a few tests now, in the office, near the edge of our LTE coverage here in metro atlanta.
10mbps down, 0.5 mbps up, pretty consistent in multiple tests.
Not bad at all given I'm nowhere near downtown atlanta, and it's more or less "peak hours" of usage. Thunderbolt adoption here has been pretty solid too, so I'm sure there's no shortage of LTE users in Atlanta.
I see some people in other areas posting really high speeds compared to mine here in Culver City -
Using the speed test app, these are my speeds in Culver City
On 3G
Download 262kbps, upload 66kbps, ping 116ms - this was at 10 AM and about the same at 2PM
On 4G
Download 1561kbps, upload 480kbps, ping 116ms
I just tested 3G again at 10 PM
Download 398 kbps, upload 550 kbps, ping 116ms
On 4G
Download 443kbps, upload 53kbps, ping 116ms
In Gardena, I get 5-6Mb down and 1-1.5 up on 4G. Haven't run speedtest on 3G there.
At home in San Pedro, 4G is non existent and 3G isn't much better.

I live In Arcadia, west of Pasadena, outdoors on 4G, I get around 6-8 Mbps routinely. Don't check 3G cause I never use it. Indoors I'm about 2-3 Mbps.
I work in Marina Del Ray (hows that for a commute), the 4G signal is so-so... around 5 Mbps.
Culver sucks as far as signal. on the 10 freeway between the 405 and all the way to USC its pretty weak.

I am in fountain valley. I get 4-8 mb at home. It is amazing I get perfect service in one corner and I move it two feet the 4g signal starts crapping out, lol. on 3g I am between .75 - 2.0 mb at home, it just depends on the time of the day.
In Encino i average

Where I work in culver city I don't even get 4g. Nor on my commute or at home. If i go a couple blocks from any location I do. My 3g signal is pretty good everywhere if I'm outside. Inside can be ok to horrendous.
Im down here in San Diego and get consistently lower speeds than any that have been posted so for. And there is NO 4G at all.
I called Sprint and they are sending me a free airave in hopes that it will give me a better connection.
I cannot even talk on my phone at my home because the calls get dropped. I had two calls dropped WITH Sprint technical support on Friday.

Sprint provided enough information to everyone about the LTE rollout and who will be getting it first. Based on that info, if you still went ahead and purchased an LTE phone from sprint, than it isn't sprint's fault. They won't rush this just for you.

Yeah.... However, most reports of testing were coming from Texas and Atlanta. Sprint's HQ is in Kansas City. So, that probably explains it. They have upgraded a bunch of cells in Baltimore, so I would guess that should get lit up shortly thereafter. I am waiting for the DC area myself.

This last Sunday and early morning Monday Sprint was apparently testing LTE in San Antonio area. Lte lit up on my phone off and on...had chance to run several speed test...as follows:
Worst up/down was 3-5 Mbps range
Best up/down was 6-8 Mbps range
My connections on outskirts-suburbs of San Antonio is usually pretty mediocre with 3G...average is .5 to .6 Mbps down and .3 Mbps up. If I could get close to the type of speeds I saw during the testing I'd be thrilled. Probably even better in city closer to towers. Sad it's delayed till 15 Jul but something to look forward to.

If I can get those numbers (Even the worst case) sustainably throughout the metroplex (Dallas/Ft Worth), I'll be ecstatic.
With LTE comes network vision, a all new system with greater backhaul, wider coverage and far better penetration. Essentially same as Verizon's network, the LTE should also be on par with Verizon's as well.
I'll be paying attention to Baltimore. If its not doing good, no way I'm signing up for 2 long years
So woke up this morning to find I had LTE. only one bar but speeds are encouraging.
Yep, noticed it last night while driving down I-15. LTE is basically everywhere now! I've verified Las Vegas, SLC, Manhattan, Newark, Bethlehem (PA) and Detroit.
Overnight implementation, just like Verizon. Kudos T-Mo. Guess we know what their bold announcement in the next few days will be!

Hey Guys I enabled my LTE on my Nexus 4 the other day and when I made it to SLC this morning sure enough it was there. Speeds were promising but could have been a little better. Anyways check it out!
LTE down most of Bangerter HWY also seeing LTE from state street to 5600 west from 3900 s and 3500s and 4500s. Noticing it also going towards the airport from 4700s down 5600w it's getting stronger too, bars have increased past few days
It's been in SLC for about a month now. They have been slowing flipping it on. Only about half of the towers have LTE right now, with the rest of them coming by the end of the summer and a few by the end of the year.

I know they plan on updating every site along the Wasatch Front. I'm not sure of specific dates, but I have seen maps of Salt Lake County, Davis County, and Weber County and most of the sites are supposed to be done by the end of the year. There are a few that are planned for next year too, but once complete, there should be total LTE coverage in the area.
