i recently got the galaxy note 1717, and have been messing around with the the xda threads for it. ex. rooting, overclocking, recovery, and the saurom.
i tried to overclock it and now its tuck in a boot loop. i tried to flash the odin stock rom, and the AT&T stock kernel-only odin pda tar from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1506330, and it's still stuck on the stock boot boot loop.
what do i do to fix it?
if i not being specific enough, let me know

Hey, I'm trying to help my buddy with his Galaxy S2. He had rooted it with CM7 (very old, I know, but it was a while ago). A couple of weeks ago it started to act weird, and now his root is gone.
This was the problem, he couldn't boot, when he booted it all went into boot loop. And he couldn't go to CWM, because root was gone and so was CWM.
I downloaded Odin v1.85 and flashed a stock firmware. but now it's in boot loop again...
So what should I do next? Stuck on boot loop, no triangle on boot which means it isn't rooted anymore.
Please, help me! I'm clueless!
So flash siyah kernel and go to cwm recovery...
Send form Galaxy S2. But I don't have it :-\
When trying to flash a stock rom on a rooted i9100 with Mobile Odin Pro 3.65 it gets stuck at first boot screen.
Even when trying to flash stock 4.0.3 and also with stock 4.1.2 roms it still does the same thing: it gets stuck at first boot screen. Even if i check the wipes and everything. Any information on this?
So i flashed a GT-S5830i stock firmware on as it was branded to Vodafone and wanted an unbranded one but i came across some issues. So i decided to flash back to the original FW but had trouble flashing through odin. I was able to get into recovery until i stupidly decided to flash a CWM Odin flashable file that wasn't compatible for my device. Now i can't seem to get into recovery.
I am however, able to flash stock FW through Odin but that's about it.
I can't Offline charge, get into recovery or boot the phone up.
When i try offline charge, the battery shows for a split second then tries to boot up.
I need to get into recovery to try and factory wipe it to see if that will help. I doubt it though as it doesn't even get to the samsung logo.
I think something is really messed up
Any ideas?
Thanks
Hi,
I have the 925f. I was in a custom rom but had some issues in my phone (7.0 A8 port), so I decided to flash back to stock through ODIN. After flashing G925FXXU5ERA4 it was stuck almost 30 min in samsung logo. Then I went back to DL mode and tried again with the same result. I also tried flashing G925FXXU5EQFC but again it was stuck. I did this several times.
Am I lacking something? Any help will be appreciated.

If it's stuck in Samsung logo just leave it longer, the first boot can take quite a while
Thanks callumbr1!
It was almost an hour and it didn't passed the logo (I tried two stock roms through ODIN). I solved it by flashing twrp wiping system and a rom through a zip file.

anytime when u flashing new firmware via odin u need to go to recovery and factory reset the device , thats the point that odin dont do while installing and that why u cant pass trought samsung logo.
After flashing stock touchwiz 4.1.2, my gs2 has gotten into a bootloop, it is stuck on the splash screen, ive tried to downgrade to 2.3.6, but to no evail, i can access download mode but not recovery, any help?
Flash again to 2.3.6, in recovery. (if you have TWRP choose to flash from a SD card file,)
You can flash from Odin too.
