Hello guys!
I recently update my Galaxy S II from a Cyanogenmod 7 ROM to a Cyanogenmod 9 ROM. However, I can't delete RomManager even by using this trick: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Barebones
Could someone helps me please ?
Best regards,
This is the CM9 discussion thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1419102
If you have a problem with something, it's also helpful to know what errors you get.

Hi Forum,
I would like some help please to port the Galaxy Nexus AOKP JB Rom using the latest CM10 S3 Nightly as base.
So far im following this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1791006
But i would like some help with the updater script (step 13) as i dont want my phone to become a brick.
I am not sure what to change, what to add, what set_perms to add
Also i have a few more questions
1) What are device trees?
2) How would i update my rom in the future?
3) How would i use device trees to do this as i have seen some devs use this but cant find any information how.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated and i will give thanks to all!
Thanks.
Anyone?

Absolutely no need to open a 2nd thread. Use your existing thread for this question. I've asked mods to close/remove this one.
Yes, this should have been asked in the discussion thread. No need to open a new thread.

Hi All,
Apologize have to start the thread here as I'm not able to post a question into Galaxy S II Original Android Development thread.
Does anyone know can I install the pdroid manager into this ROM? I intend to flash this ROM into my SII but I can't find the kernel that allow me to install pdroid manager from google play store.
Please help to advise and show where to find the kernel for this ROM.
Thank you.

Hello,
Recently I installed CM7.2 on my wife's Ace, she has the 1st S5830 variant and all works well, I needed it because of the S2E which is the only thing that seems to help with limited storage of this device.
Now, my friend has also SGA. But his is I supose other variant. since I had to root with different zip file, and also his device is THINNER than my wife's.
Now the questions Since I don't have his device on me I can't check, but I'd like to download everything onto my ultrabook and meet him in a bar and flash CM so advance knowledge would be appreciated
Anyways,
1) can you tell which is his device? 5830i ?
2) does CM7.2 exist for his device? On CM site, I found only one ROM for Ace.
Thanx
D.

I think he meant official isn't available. I also found BroadcomCM which I hope will work fine with S2E, since this is the MAIN reason I need CM.
Thanx to all,
D.

Hello guys,
I apologize in advance if this is someone already asked, but if not I would like to ask if someone could put something like a tutorial, or all links in one place, to set up a new good and stable ROM on S3 I9300. I think it would be good to set an explanation from the very beginning, such as: how to install the ROM (good and stable), how to install Karnel (good and stable), if it is required for this ROM, and explanation and tools to restore the original ROM if something is not good after installing custom ROMs. Once again, I apologize if I was wrong with asking, I'm relatively new to this forum and this could because I wanted to install a new ROM but I'm not 100% sure how to do it and which ROM to choose. I found and read a lot of information, but now I am after all this information even more confused, and I would like to do it properly.
Thank you
Am using blekota note 4 latest build on my i9300
