Hello guys. Recently my weather widget app keeps crashing. On my screen it just shows the time and nothing else. There is no background, location or temperature. I have restarted my phone and removed the widget from the screen and put it back on. This hasnt worked. It just says the app keeps closing.
Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

Try go to Application Manager --> All --> Weather, click force close, clear data. It may fix the problem.
Every time it gets a little windy I get CMAS weather alerts telling me there's a dust storm warning. I get them about every 15 minutes. Every thread I've found on the subject says the option to turn them off is in the stock messaging app and I found a thread here that has screen shots of the options. My stock messaging app doesn't have such options, I'm wondering if it's because I'm running Warm TwoPointThree. I don't see why that would matter but IDK, I just want to turn off those annoying alerts.

That would be why. I'm not sure if Myn put that option in the Messaging app, or buried somewhere in the settings, but it's there somewhere. Try in the Phone/Call settings.
Hi everyone,
When trying to change the brightness and colors settings in the browser, it keeps on crashing.
I open the browser, click on the 'extra menu' key, choose colors and brightness and then the browser hangs for 5 seconds (without opening the colors menu) and then the browser closes and i see a message "process has stopped".
Also after that happens the colors and brightness setting stay as if i was still in the browser until i open the browser again and close it normally.
Can anyone help ?
Thanks a lot !

I am running the stock ROM on my Sprint GS3 and have no issues adjusting Color/brightness in the stock browser. No crashes, no hesitations. I also have no issues making adjustments in Android Chrome (set as default browser).
Thanks for your reply.
I am using the stock ROM - connected the USB cable only to charge and to transfer some (music) files and never messed around with any non-market app
Hi all. I have a small issue with widgets..
I'm currently on APEX launcher and cm9. When i put any widgets on the home screen that auto update, they do work ok for a short while, but then stop. for instance, a clock widget will work for a 10 minutes maybe, but then stick.
I don't use any a task killer
any suggestions?

Guess what
I found out why Widgets won't updateing
When I enable lock screen the widgets are working ok but when I disabled the lock screen the widgets are stop updating.
It is weird thing.
does anybody know why it is happening because I don't need to have lock screen?
I have installed SlickJB 3 ROM on the phone and trying to removed the default lock screen but every time I select it the settings app crashes and closes out. I have tried reinstalling and rebooting phone and it still keeps happening. I searched the threads and could find no solution to the problem I am having. Perhaps I missed one but not sure. Any ideas would be appreciated.
SLICK has a custom lockscreen found in the app drawer called Holo locker. The lockscreen settings though the settings app won't work. You can however manually copy over the LG stock lockscreen and lockscreen settings apk by downloading it from the Slick OP.
Sent from my LG-E970 using xda premium
Thanks, that does help. I will look into it.
