Lol. its not stealing when its opensource in the first place. As stated by forum rules, anything posted in xda without stating any license, its automatically became opensource with gpl licence and anyone can use/modify it how ever they like.

Yes, for the sake of morality they should ask permission. But even so its still opensource and theres nothing wrong with what they do with it. Come on guys, keep the opensource spirit alive. If u really dont want anyone to use your work then state clearly with big bold red sentence and give proper closed source license

Hi DesignGears,
I would just like to apologise for everything I have done, I didn't mean to cause any disturbance on your work but it has become apparent it has. All I wanted to do was make an AOSP looking ROM with tweaks, but all I reallly did was copy your ROM and add a theme I made.
For that, I am a fraud
It's doubtful I will get another chance to post anything on XDA anymore as most people know of what I've done. Sorry again.

If he is willing to make a rom without copying someone elses and theming it, by all means, let him do it, or just post a theme.
I told him he could use my rom as reference to learn how I did some of the mods I did, not copy my entire rom, theme and release it. I appreciate all the credit in the OP, but no permission was given to do what he did.

Now, nitrozk, I like your theme, post it in the theme section. I am not sure why you needed an entire rom to do a nice theme.
Mods, let him redeem himself, as much as I would rather him banned, I think a decent theme would benefit the community more then his banishment.

Not at all, this site has 4.5 million users, it takes a huge amount of organization to run and has extensive rules to enable smooth day to day operations.
One of those rules in the S3 forum is no best Rom threads. Coming here and being arrogant and rude won't win you any friends and may well get brought to the moderators attention.
My suggestion to you is to exit, and re enter by the front door, reading forum rules and familiarizing yourself with the forum layout, then start reading up on the relevant information you seek, different Roms suit different needs, and developers don't really want to become part of an unofficial best Rom competition.
Choice is yours, abide by the rules and behave in a civil manner or take a hike
