It finally happened, frowny face. OK. I was on Bindroid rom, went to go nandroid Cm9 kang and got a system restore error. Tried to mount usb storage thru recovery but it gives me a no directory error. Doesn't boot into ROM. Stuck at boot logo. If I can somehow put a ROM on storage I would be able to reflash a ROM and get it working again. I forgot how to get into adb. If its possible. Anyone have any ideas?

This should help. It's helped me and I've seen it help many others too.
Goto http://www.teamovercome.net/p7500/?page_id=5
Towards the bottom of the guide There is a section called Restocking yer system.
Follow that on down.
Make sure you use the files for you device (7500 or 7510).
Make sure you triple check that you follow everything as suggested. The most common one I see missed is the last step of doing a factory reset/restore.
Let us know how it goes, as this keeps us trying to help when we know we're successful.
Also if you have any issues come up that you can't figure just ask.

Great to see you've got it going.
Maybe I should add that it's going to completey rewrite and erase everything, I just took it for granted that it it was obvious.
Small price to pay if you're stuck in a loop and can't do anything else though, I think.

Did you allow the RUU to run fully? Meaning did you allow it to update the hboot, reboot and then finish the update?
Rezound using XDA Premium
Yes I let it update all the way. I just reflashed the RUU, but now i dont have data on the fresh leaked rom. I checked MD5 and its all good.
Make sure that you have your back cover on.

That happened to me!
I just flashed the rom, and I freaked because I had no service. Then I put the back cover on and took a chill pill.
So I've done the whole process a few times now without any luck. I don't know what to do.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda premium
try reflashing the ruu and make sure you let it reboot to bootloader to finish and then before you try to install a rom such as cleanrom 4.1 use this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1562176
it will wipe fully 5 or 10 times.
Ok I have data on the fresh ruu. Now I am going to try unlocking and rooting again. I installed the 10x wipe. We Will see what happens.

So I had an LTE before this one and I make a backup and using the same recovery as before and now when I try to restore it won't find it
Anyone??
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
Did you copy the backups to the same place you had them in the other phone? what is the error message you get? and what recovery you have ?
Yes its in twrp and I don't see them
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
it doesnt see them because they are stored according to the device ID, make a back up of something small like cache, then put your old back up in that folder so you know where its at. my kindle fire is twrp/backup/000000000000 for example. your htc might be twrp/backup/1111111111 and your old one was twrp/backup/111111111112
Ok I'm going to try that

Also my computer no longer recognizes fastboot, I get a device not found message. The only way I've been able to install kernels is zips thru recovery then bootloader will work. This is all new, I'm not a noon but never experienced this before. All suggestions are greatly appreciate ...

This is in the wrong section. And also if fastboot doesnt work you should try reinstalling the drivers.
Edit: RUUing also helps with issues, if it will load the RUU. If not im not sure but i think you can use a exe RUU but im not sure if there are any made for ics.

Just fyi, this should not have been posted in development. So since that has been said hopefully flaming wont start.
I had issues with fastboot when using the oem cord or mhl micro usb cord. I still use a regular micro usb cord.

If you downloaded HTC sync to get the drivers then look in the bottom right corner on your taskbar and find the HTC sync icon, right click and exit it

Hello,
Let me start off by saying that the HTC DNA is my first android phone, so I am fairly new to the whole rooting/roms/kernels stuff.
I was running ViperDNA 1.1.3 with LK_DNA 0.9.5. and noticing that my battery started to drain pretty quick the past couple of days. Tired to reflash the kernel but then my wifi wasn't connecting, then tried DSB's Kernel and same result. So I was thinking about going back to stock for alittle while until CM10 was completed.
I plug by phone into my computer (like I have done dozens of times) but this time I get an USB Device not Recognized message.
I have tried to unistall and then reinstall drives, as well as HTC Sync Manager, but get the same message. See attached pics.
Can anyone help me out getting my phone and computer to sync up?
If I am leaving out any important info let me know and I will provide.
Thanks for you help
Jeff
I'm not sure about the device not being recognized, but the reason the Wifi wasn't working is because you didn't flash the boot.img.

Thanks for the reply, since my phone isn't being recognized I can not flash the boot.img correct.
At this point I would love to just return to stock and start off fresh and clean.
