Does anybody have an APK for the HTC WiFi toggle that actually toggles it on and off (DINC, DINC2, TB), rather than taking you to the WiFi settings page?
I've been wondering the same thing...
Power Control widget?
Not tbe whole power confrol widget. Just the single wifi toggle widget
Sent from my MB860 using XDA
I just use a single widget to do it. It actually can do both depending on where you hit it. If you hit it center, it toggles, if you hit it near the bottom of it, it takes you to WiFi Setup.
WiFi OnOff by Curvefish
I've been wondering why the WiFi widget takes you to the settings. Seems like a shortcut instead of a widget.

I use MySettingsPro.
I bring it up with a long press of the hard search button.
MSP has a one click WiFi on/off setting & a bunch of other stuff.
Beautiful Widgets has a wifi toggle widget.

Thanks for the replies. I am really looking for the stock HTC / Sense WiFi toggle widget that is in the DINC / DINC2 / TB

different version of sense, might not work on the rezound. I know people had to patch the flashlight apk to get it working.

Yeah, I have that installed. Dumb of HTC to exclude it.
Even dumber to make the WiFi toggle the same as the WiFi shortcut. UGH!
I'd still be willing to give it a try.

I'm trying out the new GB release on my x10i and I'm really enjoying it.
Not sure if I'll stay with it because of all the bloatware and CM7 feels faster in general.
What I miss most is the Power Bar in the Notification Bar. It's by far the best and it even allows for fast 2G/3G switching.
Is there an app in the market that compares? The closest thing I've found is the Power Widget which
a) is a widget on the desktop, so I would have to hit the Home Button to use it, then come back to the app I was using; and
b) doesn't toggle between 2G and 3G, but instead sends you to the options menu.
Any suggestions are welcome.

switchpro app.
The app you recommend doesn't seem that different. It also appears as a widget. And the description in the store even says the 2G/3G is also a shortcut.
Am I missing something?

just try it..
I'm very happy with it
Er I looked and searched n couldn't find info :-\ maybe I did I wrong. Delete thread if needed.
I'm new to sense 3.5, I see there's a quick settings in the drop down but, how do I customize it? The options on it are lame and its lame that I can't long press to take me to the settings...
Otherwise sense 3.5 = amazing on this phone with no lag!

As it stands right now, I do not believe you can modify it. Once there is a full root available and there are customer ROMs available, I am guessing you will be seeing some better options there. I came from a Thunderbolt running a customer ROM and the quicksettings allowed you toggle most of the options on the phone (i.e. Auto Rotate, Wifi, Mobile Network, Bluetooth, Airplane Mode, GPS, Flashlight, Sound Profiles, and more). I am missing those options now with the limited selection on the Stock ROM. Give it some time and there will be options before too long I am sure.
Word. I miss MIUI already. But this version of sense is pretty lol. I need it stripped zip aligned and deodex lol. Also an undervolted sense kernel

If you didn't know, you can click on the arrow where it says settings to get the entire settings panel.
I think it's ridiculous there's no way to just change them to what you want.

I feel the same why. Like how hard would that have been? Lol. And I knew u could click the arrow but then what's the point in the quick settings if it just takes you to the menu anyway lol? Menu + settings or notification bar + advanced settings. Same amount or steps. So theirs really no reason why they put it there... Now if it was customizable it would be very useful and nice.

So with root now available, is there any progress in this area? Just wanted to resuscitate this dead thread in hopes of prolonged life and a future...
Yes. There's a mod here:
4 in 1 Reboot Menu with Extended Power Menu Options
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1421265
And I saw a 4 in 1 listed in the Ineffible (or whatever it's called) ROM.
Edit: Also in CleanROM so probably in Scott's other ROM as well.
This works but you can not use it on a stock/odexed rom.
You can use an app like quick settings(free) or my personal favorite extended controls(paid). The later let's you make all kinds of personal settings widges, plus you can set it up to pop up on long press of the search button.

Then, the most reasonable option is this... I think it can change sound modes. If not than you probably could tweak it in the advanced settings if you have cyanogen mod
Power Widget Lite
If you notice any changes to your phone that were not listed in the update notes feel free to post them here. if they are specific to Sense 4+or Jelly Bean please note that next to it.

Nice. thanks
Radio is now 1.12.11.1119 and 4G is working inside my office building...no more having to go outside it seems.....
Updates to the Gallery. Now when you open it up you can pick the source
Update to the music app. Same with gallery...you can pick the source.
Update to how it handles 4G and WiFi..basically promising to turn them off when it knows it won't need them as opposed to always scanning.
Update to message app. There are more settings for personalization such as changing bubble colors and background
Low res contact fix which is common for all 4.1 I think
Color scheme change from green to blue to match JB
Pin enabled lock screen change
You can open up the maps to see where your pictures were taken
Stock browser has new look and is JB updated
Power saver
Keyboard has been changed up as well. Now can turn off arrows. Can't turn off prediction (well idk how to)
And more stuff...so far what I pointed out is just what I found to be important to me. I just now got to install this >.< I unrooted and updated.
Edit:
The HTC music app widget in the notification area now has the option to go back as well as pause and go forward
Wallpapers no longer scroll (figuring out of this is on purpose or if there's something i need to mess with)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKrJaB6OUvI&feature=youtube_gdata_player If anyone wants to see the update before us rooted people get it. Not my video just throwing that at there.

I was hoping that the ringtone and notification volumes would be separate, but they are not.
Oh well, same old work arounds...
the sound in poweramp mutes temporarily whenver I hit the power button.
Soundhound app button
The soundhound app that was built in now has an icon in the apps tray. Never did before and I had to search for it. I know there was a workaround, I just never got around to doing it.

A feature I noticed when about to go to bed...in the clock app, when setting an alarm, the minutes dial now snaps to 10 minute increments. Pretty convenient compared to the previous endless spinning behavior!
is this the new gingerbread update?
A quick icon set to be as oem as possible but put my own little twist on. These can be used for anything however i use them for the free app Notification Toggles which i love. Here are some pics of some icons i made more on request and a pic of how it looks on my device....
Some toggles have more then one to choose from. Also some toggles dont use an on and off switch because they will just open something. If anyone wants to use these and needs a different toggle icon to match i will make no problem
5/27/13 Added Gps on/off, Alternate Brightness Toggle, Screen Rotate Toggle, Camera Flash On/Off
Also I removed the Off images to show new icons however they are all in the zip
More to come today or tomorrow
Will work for stock users?

i used an app from the store called Notification Toggles it gives you the option to pick icons from for sd card. I made these toggle icons because those are the 5 togles i use. However if anyone uses diff toggles and likes this icon set i can gladly make new ones..
Can you make icons for screen rotation, led flash and gps? Would really appreciate it.
