I have a problem with my original rom WM6.5 .
Often I haven't any sound notification from calendar. I try to search register flag on wm registry but the problem was the same .
I discover only one solution to this problem...make a MASTER CLEAR and after the calendar return to notificate the event with sound .
So I have to restore my contact, message...and so on, but I haven't make this about every month!!!
There is a solution to this?

I apologize if this topic has been covered before. I've tried to search with no good results.
My problem with the 5 or so WM6 ROMS that I've tried have been that after a few days my email accounts would disappear from my list. Is there a fix for this?

to avoid this account loss try is: don't softreset your device, will it is running. close all apps, switch to standby, wait 30 seconds, then softreset with your stylus. so you can be sure, that there aren't any write-processes on important data like for example your mail accounts.

actually i never want to make a new thread for this, but i've searched for all related post regarding this problem, and i got nothing. Well, the closest solution that i've found is the Zenyee's disable htc messaging interface application, but even that is not working for me.
the problem is the sms messages display in chronological manner, even though of course the threaded messaging option is "ON" by default. This problem only occur if you open the sms by using the manila sms interface (or directly by tap the sms tab), but if you open the sms conversation by using the WM, it looks just fine. I know, maybe it's a porting bug that hasn't been able to be solve (or maybe it isn't).
I just wanna know if anybody has a same problem with me. If yes, what have you done to solve this problem? and one more thing, is there anyway to change the shortcut of the sms tab, so when you tap the sms tab, it takes you to the WM sms display, instead of taking you to the manila sms interface?

Don't know if there is a direct connection, but I had a little turmoil on the machine in conjunction with phantom EM accounts and now I see that the reminder function is dead.
I have deleted all duplicate notifications with the "pmClean" tool; but to no avail.
The Alarm works fine; and so do reminders attached to Tasks; it is only the reminder function attached to the Appointments that is corrupt
Any ideas?
Note: not sure this is of relevance, but during the "turmoil" the clientqueues.vol file got deleted (it now is back; by system design I guess)

I´m writting you to ask for help for a ancient problem I have with WM (since I had a Touch HD). I use a lot the calendar function and also the reminders.
But, I´m facing a terrible problem: the phone is not showing the notifications anymore. The curious part is that if I set a Task, the phone wakes up and rings. But if it´s an appointment, it doesn´t wake up nor even show any notification icons or sounds. I have lost some appointments due this.
I have set all settings to play sounds; hard reseted the phone and installed the programs I most use and tested to see if would play the sound and the notification. After one week of "stability" (I mean, the phone was giving me the notifications and I didn´t install any programs), it stopped again to show APPOINTMENTS reminders.
Has anyone faced this problem? Do you know a solution to this? I have an HD2 with stock T-mobile ROM.
Please, help me!

You need to check your notification queue.
There are tools that clean it up. I think SKTools have this functionality.

I'm running a HTC HD2 with Windows Mobile 6.5 running ROM 3.14.110.1 WWE.
Recently, whenever I try to send an SMS and type the contact's surname into the "To:" box - the messaging application disappears off the screen. No draft SMS is saved, and when I return to the messaging application - no evidence of the SMS is present.
If I click the Contact Lookup icon in the top right hand corner, I can manually select contacts through this method - but obviously it's a lot slower than simply typing a surname and picking out a contact.
I've tried removing my MS Exchange ActiveSync connection, and then re-establishing it after a Soft Reboot - but the problem persists.
Has anyone experienced this, and can suggest a fix?

Im glad I'm not the only one this happens too, I just thought it must be my fat fingers pressing the wrong buttons....
Sorry I cant help but will be watching to see if there are any helpful hints on how to fix this error..
How many text messages have you got. . . . Coz when i was getting this and after a hard reset, I didn't restore my test message and the problem want away.
Don't now as never found a solution yet.
