You need to root the device. Install root explorer or something alike, navigate to /system/app, then find the apk and delete it. Reboot the device, and tada...it's gone.
You can do this with all system apps that you don't use, just be careful you don't remove something needed like systemui.apk or settings.apk...
This process is called debloating for those of you who don't know...
You can delete the files to save space.
Later when you open the game you willbe asked to download the filea again.
Try /android/data/com.sony.playstation.(some number) its all there

I found the software Root Uninstaller Pro v1.20 that should do the job.
Trying out now.
I'm using "Titanium Backup" for that, it has a lot of uses besides uninstalling bloatware.
Thanks Heimiko, will try out that software too. Currently the root uninstaller able to solve my case.
If you only wants to hide them you can use "Launcher Pro"

How we remove apps like Games by PopCap, Evernote, Playnow?
You can remove stock apps by using Terminal Emulator. Here is the tutorial - http://jaxov.com/2010/09/how-to-remove-stock-default-android-apps-easily/

Yup~ before root u need to unlock bootloader 1st~
try to avoid unlock bootloader if u just want to keep your phone warranty~
try to stop stock apps operating; android assistant can block other apps at startup and kill apps~
dont waste your phone warranty~
Does somebody got a list with what .apk is what app? Some of the .apk does not resemble some of the apps, and don't want to delete something that might kill my phone.
edit: Btw, you can uninstall apps in flashtool.
If you find the right apk then you can remove the app without any problem with this tool? I mean if the app isnt important, like Gamesbypopcap.

Yeah! Certain app/apk I was remove using root uninstaller - result; my phone running on 235/334MB free space memory~
backup before remove~ if you want to install back to system app you needs to purchase root uninstaller pro
=/ not good if you make mistake~

try use root uninstaller - you will know with apps that u want to remove, just refer to icon of apps in root uninstaller =) list? refer to 1st post
Yeah, you need to root your mini for that. It voids the warranty, but I'm pretty sure you can reverse it so people can't tell. Technically, you've voided your warranty, but if you remove the evidence, no one can tell and your warranty is honored. You need to know what you're doing, obviously, so you should look into it more before trying it.
Hey guys i have another question, i dont think a new thread is needed.
My mini pro says the sdcard has 1.2 gb used but when i select all files inside the card with Windows explorer it says there is only 350mb used. Why? and who's right?

Is there a way to remove them without rooting the phone?
Or did the devs already find a way to root he phone without unlocking the bootloader?

Move that apk file to /system/app. You'll need a file explorer app that has root access (ES file explorer can do it). You may need to reboot in order for it to take effect.
As the title suggests is there any way to install google chrome as a system app?
If i manually move the apk file to system/app using root explorer, reboot my phone and then open the app it gives an error saying that the installation is not complete...
So can you guys help me?
Sorry for being a noob, but can u guys help me?

Sounds like Chrome does not want to be installed as a system app then Is there some benefit to having an app installed as a system app? Or why do you want to have it installed as a system app?

OK I don't know how things work on phones outside of the HD2, but can't you just push the .apk to /system/app with a root explorer, fix permissions in CWM and reboot?
Try to use ADB to move it and remember to set permissions
You need to extract libchromeview.so from the Chrome APK (found at: com.android.chrome-1.apk/lib/armeabi-v7a/libchromeview.so) and move it to system/lib. Optionally, you can remove libchromeview.so from the Chrome APK and zipalign if you want to save a couple of MBs of space.
This worked for me on v. 0.18.4531.3636. I attempted this some time ago on an older version unsuccessfully. If you have an older version for some reason, you'll probably need to update.
Latest titanium backup update said something about fixing conversion in what's new

If I'm not mistaken system apps load first on boot and are often quicker at starting up than user apps. That's been my experience anyways. However a lot of em are more hassle to convert than the slight increase in speed is worth imho
Hi there, I have a rooted Samsung s6102 and I unistalled the google play store using linktosd thinking I can reinstall it on memory Card,
but then I downloaded it and tried to install it. it installed but on opening it errors "force Close"
I have tried many versions of it and it still doesnt work comes up with error "Force Clsose"
I think it has to be installed in system. I don't know how to do this.
In the meantime I have reset factory settings but still no sign of google play. I'm afraid link2sd must have deleted the relevant files. I also wiped cash memory but.........
I would really appreciate some help on this matter. It is depressing me you know imposed on my mind....
! Please help! Thank you
If you deleted the Vending.apk from /system/app/ then you need that file and you need to put it there. Same procedure if you deleted it from /data/app Then reboot and it should fix your problem.

Why can't you reinstall it? You should be able to grab it from the same rom you are on for your phone and use a root explorer to put the app in the /system/app or /system/priv-app (depending on the rom) and set the correct permissions to restore functionality after rebooting.
when i try to install it from apk it stops and says "apk not installed". can you explain me how to install it with other ways? i'm newbie here

You can't install an app that needs to be in the /system folder by just installing it like normal. You have to move it into the correct folder and set permissions. Use this as a general guide http://www.engadget.com/discuss/install-google-play-on-any-android-device-1p17/ and substitute the appropriate Play Store and Google Play Services app for your phone. If you are on 4.4.2 or above, you will need to move the apps into /system/priv-app instead of /system/app.
thank you it really helped
You got it going again then?

That's odd...you mean they are force closing? You might try rebooting to recovery and wiping cache.
