I cant get this to connect on this device but it connects on my atrix and other devices in the house without any problems ive uninstalled it a cple times but still nothing any ideas guys?

I've tried everything i can think of changing build.prop exporting apk blah blah.. Googled till ny fingers cramped the only thing i think will work is change build.prop to HTC inspire but it won't be hd quality. . Anyone change build prop with a apk number i can do the rest.

It simply doesn't work. I have even installed it on an S2 and took the backup and installed on the Note and still no luck. I emailed EA and of course they didn't respond

sorry just now, forgot to post. it works BUT in half screen.
I have this recurring issue with all Jellybean roms I have tried ( Stock Poland, Android Hd, Omega, Foxhound) where i lose internet connection over wifi every 3-5 mins and only way to recover it is to toggle wifi on and off. The funny thing is this happens only when i use my gf's macbook pro as a wifi hotspot (internet sharing over mac wifi).
There are no problems with ICS roms. I have tried stock, perseus, siyah and speedmod kernels to no avail.
Can somebody help me?
I do not want to get a wifi router as my gf needs the wired lan connection for her work

Thought so too. Wahaha. I have a windows laptop but I dont use it for the hotspot. So it realky is just that? No probkem with the ics though

Have you tried rebooting your router?? What internet speed are you supposed to be getting?? Also try it with your windows laptop and see if you get the same result

Actually have not tried rebooting the router yet. I should be getting 72 mbps theoretically. I will check with my laptop once i have the tym

Is anyone having problems tethering their UK S3 lte. Tried a ton of apps and just can't do it. I've only installed CWM and rooted. Nothing else. Anyone have a solution?

I have pre-rooted and deodexed rom found here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1935570) installed on my UK (bought from t-mobile) S3 LTE and tethering works a treat.
Ive got quite abit of different mods on mine practically like a new rom and tether also works great obviosly if we have that option then it should work and if it doesnt its either a software bug , network, or faulty phon. Or even the other device thats connecting to it.

Contact your service provider | by calling 150, and perhaps option 4 for technical support, as EE may have this option disabled for you by default, I have yet to check if mine works because i just ordered this as an upgrade (Everythings Unlimited!) for only £41 a month LOL
i am tethering right now and i am shocked as it is very fast even tho i am near the ocean and bushland./Lake but i am on 3G , as there is no 4g coverage out here yet. You would spin out if you knew where i was . Its 12am I am in front of a MASSIVE lake in a tent near the bush and just to see if i could, i hooked up my mini netbook up to my i9305 and all i can say is AWESOME i have now been on a stable connection for 1 hr. who needs a hardwire connection when you have a S3

Got the full Monty plan which doesn't include tethering but I thought the apps bypass this?

There is a way around it i saw in i9300 a dev made a work around. I just cant remeber what thread it was inn or wat dev it was.i think it was his own work around he didnt advertise it because it was an offtopic thread was about something else and it lead into tethering . Do a search if ios has something we must aswel lol

I'm on t-mo UK full Monty and can tether fine? You got a logcat of when you try to use stock wifi tethering?

I'm on full Monte plan too and have no issues with tethering. I'm on full stock Rom no mods just rooted.

I can use Bluetooth tethering but not WiFi. All that happens is I switch it on and then it says switching off and shutdown it off

It will just encourage people to get their shows from torrent sites.
I really don't see what Sky's issue with rooted phones is, as BBC iPlayer works fine.

Mine is unrooted and this app works well. Quality is terrible for10-20 secs after you choose a channel but then sorts itself out and is pretty good quality IMO.
I'm having problems connecting to xda using the tapatalk app, it was fine a few days ago but now it doesn't like connecting or when it does its insanely slow or fails. Half the time I cannot post
Every other forum I go on is perfectly fine
Anyone else having issues? Or know why its doing this?
