Found this thread and was curious if anyone uses these scripts? Which ones work the best?

#16 works on stock blur =0 to keep the keys on w/ the screen (synchronized w/ the screen) most of the time.

Hi, Just wondering if there is a wiki for the Optimus V that has info on current recovery's, ROMs and how-to's? I sold my VM intercept and just picked up a Optimus V and have been combing the net (mostly here and Android Central) trying to get my phone as customized as my intercept was. I am confused about some things and am hoping some of your guys could set me straight...
- The Gingerbread beta roms have one universal problem, no SMS or MMS messaging. Is this right? Is there any gingerbread roms for the optimus V that have fixed these issues??
- Does anyone know how to simply remove the Virgin Mobile boot-up animation and sounds safely?? Just so it skips over that on boot therefor starting the phone faster??
- I have flashed the Clockwork recovery to my phone using RomManager today, is there any other recovery's with more features? Can anyone list off the current known and working recovery's available?
- Can anyone list off the current known ROM's for the Optmus V? Can anyone recommend a ROM that has MMS and SMS working??
- Do you recommend I use data2ext on the Optimus V? Is there a proper guide for installing it? Has anyone who has installed it get a noticeable increase in performance?
- For those of you coming from the Intercept, Is there an App or Mod that changes the notification panel to show the Toggles on top? Like disable Wifi, Silent, Vibrate and such as the intercept had? I know there are widget for this but having them on the notification bar was pretty nice!
- Is there any site that has good themes for this device?
Thanks in advance for any help/input on these questions! My plan is to start a wiki dedicated to this device and it's tools/mods/roms/recoverys and have an organized place for the mass of information! thanks!
Hi,
Today I ahve installed CM7 the first time on my Atrix (last weeky build). This is a great ROM, highly customizible. Though I'm back to the darkside, I will definitly switch to CM7 in the future. I was toying with CM7 for 1 hour and I have some questions:
1) Is there any way to show network type icon in the status bar (G/E/3G/H) when wifi is on?
2) Is there a theme that exactly copies Atrix motoblur interface?
3) How to add vibration on fingerprint unlock?
4) Is the battery life better in comparison with the stock 2.3.4 rom?
5) Could a single notification be removed like it could be removed in motoblur by pressing a minus sign on it?
Thanks!

1)don't think so. Maybe a mod?
2)there are over 300 themes and there is a Moto one as well as Samsung and HTC.
3)not sure about this one either
4)I think battery life is better for me cause all the Moto bloat is gone so I'm just running what I want. And alot of the 3rd party apps I would have to get on stock are included into cm7 suck as torch and scrwenshots .
5)Notification can be cleared singly by swyping them.(though I find it a but difficult sometimes)
I hope I helped u some
Thanks AtriXDA Developers!!!
Thanks! More questions:
1) There was no AGPS option in "Location & Security" settings, how to enable AGPS?
2) There were no transition animations on the stock CM7 theme. How to enable them? Do CM themes contain transition animations?
Hi guys,
I'm on a rock-solid KI8 2.3.5 GB stock ROM (heavily modded) and I'm ok with that.
I'd like to switch to ICS. I searched not only here but also in other forums an answer to this question (which I didn't found):
Does it exist a modded version of services.jar that enables the use of bln with the stock MMS app?
I know that many kernels support bln and that it's just enough for third party mms application to work with bln, but I prefer the stock app (as a matter of personal taste).
I'm used to have the capacitive buttons notify me all events (gtalk, missed calls, etc. and ALSO sms/mms), so to me it would be a huge drawback in the switch process towards ICS.
Anyone knows if CyanogenMod has this modified version of services.jar inside by default? (It could be the right path for me to walk in that case...).
Thanks a lot to all those who will spend even a minute in reading this.
Cheers
Digging up, but still can't find anywhere modified services.jar for i.e. LP9 for SMS compatibility with BLN. :| Maybe some one could get it from custom rom with that working?
Looked / searched and couldn't find any mods for AT&T S3 to enable choosing of toggles in Notification Center. Does it not exist as of yet? Running stock rooted currently but I suppose if Diet or any other ROM comes with the ability to choose whats shown / hidden ( preferably with a flashlight ) I'd most definetly flash it, providing everythings working. Looks like Diet is getting some fixes now, so maybe in a day or two. In any case a stock version mod would be awesome
I'm looking for the same thing. Looked in SQLite to see if there was an editable database and checked in Any Cut as well. Maybe a prop file I'm not seeing?
has anyone been able to locate a working QuickSettings apk for a stock rooted ATT G3? As the OP, I am looking for the flashlight toggle as well as brightness and timeout ones... thanks!
Hi
I am enjoying running CoolHoney on my Flyer - thanks to all devs involved. It's really stable and everything works, as far as I can tell.
Three things I am apparently missing.
On the ROM development thread it says it supports cpu scaling but I can't find that in my settings anywhere. Do I need to flash a particular kernel?
Also I would like to be able to activate 270 deg rotation please, as I like to hold the tab with the headphone socket at the bottom. I think I had this option when I ran dexter's Jelly Bean ROM but CoolHoney doesn't seem to have the option. How can I enable this please?
[edited to remove q about lockscreen: answer found already on forum, sorry]
Thanks for any advice.
CPU settings are accessed in the app "Daemon Controller" (or something like that, I don't have my Flyer with me right now).
Thanks for that, yes there is a daemon app pre-installed. I was looking in the settings instead.
