Can anyone confirm this.
In stock kernel if you select left handed in SPen options it adjusts the input and makes the input line up more with the tip of the SPen. In the OC Kernel its like permanently stuck in right handed mode. The drawn line is not lined up at all. And it doesnt change at all if you switch from right to left handed.

I really wish I could figure this out. I have tried to do numerous things. I have reflashed, switched between stock and OC kernels.
Pen will work fine in left hand mode on stock kernel.
Pen will not work accurately in left hand mode with the OC kernel.
It's spot on if i WOULD use the pen right handed. But i dont. So this makes drawing, writing, taking notes ect... a little awkward.

V0.2 fixed it for me. downloaded it from my phone. don't kbow if that is what fixed it or not but it works for me now.

I had a galaxy's, and recently I bought a Atrix.
I noticed that Atrix has a touch screen less sensitive than galaxy.
I've downloaded from the market "sgs touchscreen booster", this is an app to manage the touchscreen galaxy.
I tried it on 'Atrix and it works fine for me.
Now I am satisfied with the touchscreen.
If anyone has the same problem, I advise him to try.

What has changed for you, because using a touch test app I see no difference.
Before the touch screen did not take the command from my finger every now this does not happen more.

I had the touchscreen bug where my screen would go unresponsive, was going to bring it in today (concerned about my device having the france rom on it.) and this app got it working again perfectly!
will be sure to buy you a beer on payday if this holds up.

Same. I still, along with (I think) everyone, have the issue with multi-touch when you hold fingers down for a certain number of seconds and the screen equalizes it, forcing you to wait a few seconds and try it again. This really annoys me on games like Jet Car Stunts, when, for example, I hold the accelerate button but eventually I have to let go and press it again to keep the car accelerating.
yeah that apparently is a feature and done by design from what I read. the problem i had was worse in the sent that imagine the screen going nuts after 5 seconds of activity.
Is there any way to increase the multitouch number. This app says it can but it doesn't work I know this is for the galaxy but is there any other way?

I was getting so annoyed of this phone because when i tried to typed i couldnt type one work without making a huge mistake because the screen wasnt picking up everything i guess. if i typed hey fast it would just type "hy" or something. but when i did this and put the sensitivity up to 80% and left the rest on default it fixed it. now i can type fast without any mistakes and it seems as it fixed multitouch problems as well! This app is definitely recommended.
I've always thought the Atrix screen could do with a higher sensitivity, after using the iphone. It might be all in the mind, but this app does seem to help. It is particularly noticeable when typing, I no longer have any missed letters where I haven't pressed hard enough.

I'm left handed and so far, what little I have used my pen, it seems to be working correct, holding the button and dbl clicking brings up the memo pad for me.

In the settings you can change it to Left hand.
did you change the settings > pen settings > dominant hand to left hand?
Under settings is there one for Pen settings?

yes I change It to Left but with the Memo Pad Its Still off to the Left Unless I Put It Back in My Right hand and tilt It. Im using the Pen to Write this So It works Well Its Just off a Little. the Line 1S Dead on when IN my right hand.

It is designed to be off a few pixels. Not sure why but my Wacom on my Asus eeeslate is the same as well (btw, stylus works on gnote).
Check out other forums that use Wacoms or Cintiq.

After 4 refurbs I finally got a new phone, went it to Sprint and was going to get another refurb, but they gave me a brand new one. So, I have been extremely observant with this new one, I have noticed when typing my finger press doesn't always register, its only on the left side of the phone in la.escape mode. And sometimes the spacebar doesn't recognize. So i downloaded order and chaos, (wow mobile) and the virtual joystick stutters and doesn't register my finger press. *NOTE* this isn't app based. It happened when clicking on apps from drawer no matter what launcher. I'm wondering if its the digitizer. 4 days oldandth is one fails already. Sick of HTC.

Just curious... Are you using go locker or some other lock screen? I had stuttering touch response when I was using go locker......
If that's not the case... Then maybe you need it replaced... Again...
I am using golocker. Haha maybe that's the problem. I'll turn it off for a few days and see if that helps. Thanks for the tip!

Yeah let us know how it goes. I really like go locker and I have asked the devs to fix it but I never got a response from them...
Disabling it did the trick. That's so weird. Glad I know a fix, sad an amazing locker has to be disabled. I guess I can just turn it off when gaming ect. Still a bummer. But thanks for the tip!

I've noticed on custom ROMs s-pen is useless far to sensitive maybe this will help. Going to test when i get home and report back. I prefer the tweaking method with screw driver.

Really wish there was a way to calibrate the pen more than anything. I'm left handed and the cursor and accuracy of the tip is off making selections very hard. My tablet PC that uses a Wacom digitizer can be calibrated...don't understand why the Note can't have the same thing.
I use blackstar and novena and they both have a setting for lefties. Basically switches the point to the right side.

Yes it us annoying. Also i did flash black star and pen still doses same problem so now i know its not the rom since blackstar is based on stock. Oh well will have my note 2 soon cant be bothered.

In the lower left hand corner of my screen I've noticed a thumb sized yellow discoloration on my screen. Anyone else have this issue? Its not bad now but I would hate for it to get worse...

Yep. Me too. Mine's been around for quite a while. I posted about it in some other thread someone started, maybe a month or 2 ago. So far I haven't noticed it really growing, and it hasn't affected operation/touch sensitivity that I can see. It's just WICKED ugly on stuff with white backgrounds.
I run lots of black backgrounds / themes (because I like them) so that hides it to a fairly good extent.
I have Best Buy insurance so I'm sure I could return it, and I will if it gets worse - but I'm kind of holding out just cause it would be a pain to re-stockify the thing, then get into best buy, then have to get a refurb and get it re-rooted and set up. Not that that is a huge deal, but the yellow spot doesn't bother me quite enough yet to push me to do that...
