Stock CWM flasheable ROM? - Galaxy Ace S5830 General

Hey guys, I was trying to go back to stock, but I cannot find the drivers for my computer so it sees my ACE on ODIN.
so I was looking around and couldn´t find a Stock/Stock-alike CWM flasheable ROM. Anybody knows of one?
It doesn´t need be PURE STOCK, just have TW interface. The phone is for my mom and she likes the TW. The other thing I´m looking for is that it has to have spanish as a display language.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Several stock FW`s:

Thank you for your input =)
I´m not totally clear if what you posted are files ONLY for rooting & deodexing or are full stock roms rooted and deodexed?

thanks for your input, I´m trying it out but I think I´m going to have problems since I have a ext4 ROM, how should I go back?

Im using cm9 galaxyics nightly, I'll try and flash this. Then I'll post my results

[SOLVED] Samsung Keyboard with all languages

Hi forum
One of the only things I miss from the stock ROMs is the Samsung keyboard, which has extended number of languages. Although I know that keyboard lacks customisation options, it's bug-free and is the ONLY one that has the correct key layout for my language.
As it seems, you can't mix odexed apps and deodexed framework, so naturally I couldn't "port" the keyboard as is.
I tried to deodex the AxT9IME.apk but being a total noob, I failed several times, from just text fails like "Error occured while loading boot class path files" to doubling ALL the files on my HDD ( YES it happened... stil deleting ).
Can someone please deodex the AxT9IME.apk from KF3 (and make it work with KH3 if needed?). Since I lack the brains to do even that simple thing
I've attached the files.
Here, just flash it on any rom and get your languages :

Hi Guys!
Could you please explain to a newbie how to "just flash it"?
I upgraded from original 2.3.3 to stock 2.3.5 (XXKI3), and by doing so left myself without Czech and Russian swipe support, both of which I need for my work.
Would much appreciate it.
PS The phone is rooted.

There aren't any stablebics roms for sgs2, tho I'm using cm9 as daily and it doesn't have that many bugs

Wanam ROM isn't that bad so far
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
wanam rom xxlp2 is a daily rom all stuff working for my daily use, phone, messages, web browsing, camera, and some apps
go try it then if is not a daily driver for u go back to gb
If you are looking for a really stable ICS rom with every single thing working, then no. There isnt one at the moment. Even the ICS leaks from Samsung often gives me FCs, but if you are okay with that and have a lot of patience (you wouldnt want to hurl your phone against the nearest wall in frustration...) then you can try resurrection ics rom. Cheers!
Hey there.
I installed this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1436854 last night but picked up some problems as this was the first time I am installing a 4.0.3 and when I tried to follow there instructions My device wouldn't boot.
So basically what I had to do was the following.
1. Install the following leaked ROMfrom install zip file from sdcard in CWM. http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/GalaxyS2/roms/ICSLeaked/ICSi9100.zip Thanks to Zedomax over at galaxys2root.com.(Not sure if I can post this link, if not then please remove)
2. Then I ran the restore like they prescribe in the REMIX v7.1 Thread and all ran smooth. So big up to the guys working on that ROM excellent work so far. You guys rock.
Hope this helps.
I would like to thank everyone for help, u all have been great and I have found what u was looking for!!

Right well been playing aruond alot with my phone and now want to go back to stock rom so i can install sgs 2 final rom.
The reason is that the a2sd isnt working on that rom and the kernel that i have is not cf-root and cf-root will not install when i flash the rom.
So obviously i have a galaxy ace, it's GT-S5830.
I am unable to recover my backup using cwm as it just stops at the second samsung boot animation.
Now i am looking for the stock baseband version but cannot find that. My baseband is S5830BVKQA.
I have been using cm7.1 and .2 which from what i have read causes problem due to ext4 and rfs system thing.
Please help me this is the last thing that i even want to know

Problem restoring from backup using CWM? [Help appreciated :)]

Greetings XDA-World.
Well, Firstly, id like to mention that today is my first day as a registered member of xda. And Yeah, im just 15 so you can call me a noob or inexperienced, i dont mind.
Well Anyway, before i flashed CyanogenMod 7.2 RCO by vo-1, I took two backups of the original stock firmware, one using CWM 4.0.0.9 and the other using CWM 5.0.2.6. However, i decided to go back on stock using the backups but failed, and my Ace is stuck on bootloops. If someone could help me get these backups to work, i would be really grateful.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
[Admins im sorry ive posted in the wrong place or wrong method ot whatsoever, im a newbie]
Thanks,
UsmanJ

You cannot restore Stock ROM's backups using CWM. If your stock rom was on ext4 filesystem then it could have been possible. But, I think you made a backup of a stock ROM and not a custom ROM based on Stock ROM. Lol, a bit confusing but you cant restore that backup as far as my experience says.

Thanks brother. Yes, i could guess that because most custom rom format the system partition as ext4 because it occupies less place. Isnt it possible that we format the System partition in a way tht is supports the initial backup?
Sorry if im too newb.

Ney. Cuz the original backup was taken on a rfs filesystem. You can try one thing. Flash stock rom via odin, root your ace, install ClockWorkMod 5.0.2.6 and then try restoring that backup. Not really sure if this will help but there's no harm in trying

The kernal I would recommend is Entropy512's for the SGP. The tutorial on there is very easy and very stright foward so you shouldn't have any problems at all. I would recommand the rom I'm currently using but the dev removed the link because he is updating the rom.

Nothing in particular's bad w/r/t the stock ROM. It just isn't most people's cup of tea. Chip's ROM is pretty cool, though I'm limited in experience (onyl stock, Eryigit, and Chip's ROMs, to date) What I like about Chip's ROM is that it's up to date and is constantly in development, the style of it (ICS-theme), and that most of the bloatware's been removed. It's very operational and customizable. Plus, many of the "hacks" that he's introduced via init.d or elsewhere (courtesy of St. Matis; I've added a few of my own and deleted a few). He's edited the framework (or gathered it from another source) to get rid of that pesky "Cell Standby" thing that shows up as a battery drain (functionally irrelevant, but annoying nonetheless) and included a number of apps as stock that many here would install anyway. Look at the thread yourself and check its features

Disinstall all driver, make a clean install of the USB driver 1.5.6, install ODIN 1.8 and thats all...You have all you need to write a custom kernel from the stock one.
In Downolad mode the player is visible just from ODIN...i remember...
Otherwise, after installing the c.kernel, from the device recovery you can do all (c.rom-stock-kernel.zip addon).
