I was just wondering if anyone has been able to get transparency working in any ICS apks for the sgs2 yet? I had a try but I couldn't get it to work, I had trouble with decompiling and recompiling the apks...
I wanted to get transparency to work in the mms apk and in the contacts apk for the dialler background and the contacts background.
I would love to know if anyone else has been able to get this to work successfully?

Hello, I'm porting a theme from the capti ate forums and for some reason my dropdown notifications have a transparent background and the text is black as well for any popup window like when you long press the homescreen to get widgets, and wallpaper chooser, so i think i need to modify either the framework-res.apk or the twframework-res.apk but don't kno exactly what file to modify to either get the text to white or get a background on those things... if anyone would advice me i'd appreciate it... thanks

Can anybody help me please as i want to {Help} How to change the Settings background wallpaper in Framework-res.apk, I like the default black background in settings which is provided in samsung stock and i am using [THEME]ICS DOMINATION v4.0.4 and in that something gray colour background is their which i personally don't like, so i want to replace either my own custom background or default black one provided in Sammy stock.
Which apktool i should for modding ics framework-res.apk and i am getting error while compiling. Is their any video tutorial for modding framework-res

hey guys i really need your help
i tried so many things now, but im not able to create my SPlannerWidget_Material (s6 ported calendar widget for the s5) to be transparent.
the only thing i was able to change is the "header" of the calendar (with a 1x1px 60 percent transparent .png), but not the days as u can see in the picture.
can somebody please help me? i will attach the .apk
