Just wondering if this actually replaces the battery cover or does it snap on over it? What do you guys think?

Looks like a replacement back cover to me. I hope it has the NFC antenna.
It is battery cover replacement. I bought one that looks to be the same exact one. No NFC and it also didnt fit the ATT one. I have seen some people modify it to fit but these tabs are extremely brittle. I tried trimming them and they just broke clean off. Not worth the risk.

so I work at an att store and recently purchased the pure, but I noticed very quickly that there isn't a while lot in the way of accessories for it...so I decided to make my own. attached is a before and after set of photos of the samsung leather pouch case that I modified for my topaz device. I really like the worn in and weathered look so I decided that is how I wanted my case to look...
I apologize for any typos but I am writing this post from my pure using swype without zooming in on the editor.

I just tried the Reiko Premium Hybrid, I think it's a really nice case. It’s comparable to the Otter Box but I think a little slimmer. I would purchase this a second time with no problem. I actually tried to look for a review on this case before I purchased but only one Reiko model was reviewed. The case is really sturdy and it has option to clip on to your waist or you can use it as a stand. I hope this helps anyone out that was probably interested in this item.

As stated looking for a good power case with good protection for phone. I would like to use a glass protector with it though. At present I'm using this case which has a Sony stylus too.

Sony's case is the best.
The two other power cases with covers have extremely flakey build quality.
The other option, mugen, is good quality but has no cover.
Bought one on Amazon since it was cheaper than all the other versions (currently). None of the inserts fit with my case so I used the "loop" portion of some strips of velcro I have. Could be a little snugger with maybe some thin foam padding, but it works well enough right now.

I don't know how you can remove the stains, but if you can't do it, you can always buy another back cover.
