Just logged into the market to update all my app, got halfway through and thing reset and told me it had just installed a new version call Play store, has anyone else got this yet. Freaked me out cause i thought something had happened to the market

Anyone gotten the new Play store?
For CM9 i got it from Gapps, you have to flash it.
Search this file in google (the forum doesn't allow me to post links)
gapps-ics-20120317-signed.zip
For CM7.1 i don't know wich is the version up to date.

It's not available on the Market? The one on the market works fine for me for playing both native music files and Streaming from Google Music Beta. You could always google search for the latest version and download the apk though.

Go through the market. If you cant find it then just post back.
I am from Europe - so unfortunately it is not availible for me in market.
I setup on my laptop already and it is working, I just need the apk with the latest release for my lovely androids

Earlier lasy month I installed google music v4.0.1 and it worked. My problem is I'm trying to install google music v4.0.9 and it said I can't. I tried through the market and from just the apk, can some one help me instal this update please. I'm on a p509 with gingercrust installed. But I have tried on this rom and the original rom.

Uninstall previous music apk using titanium backup. Move the new music 4.0.9 to the system/app using any explorer having root access.change the permissions and install.hope this helps.

Go to settings and clear market data, it worked for me. If it's still not showing try uninstall market updates & install newest market again

i'm having the same issues on the latest CM7 on my GS2
The new playstore was causing GPS problems and battery drainage so Google updated the playstore to 4.1.10...

I suppose it would update automatically but after some time country wise or globally and this could be test version.
But, I am not sure.
The new play store has solved all bugs of 4.0.25.
One bug i remember is of the category option. As the space below category used to be empty.
I installed version 4.0.27. Bt when I download any app it fc. And the message displayed ' unfortunately play store is nt working.' Roll back to older version.:banghead
Weird, i just downloaded and installed an app and everything is OK.

I had no problem dude. Downloaded and updated apps.... Uptil now only you suffer from this issue.
Try factory reset.

You can downgrade it as per your needs.
If later Google upgrades it automatically then you again reinstall the old one.

Had you installed the game maybe with another account? Is the game still available through play store?
