Hey guys...
I'm just wondering if i'm the only person having this problem. Before the .15 update, when i recorded and used those stupid effects (make eyes big, face small...etc) it was recording fine. But today i was trying to shoot a video using the effect, and when i played the video it had a screen tear/flicker on the top of my screen. Can anyone check if they're having the same problem?
The screen has a \____/ kinda shape flickering on the top of the screen when i'm playing the videos.
thanks

hi,
when opening the camera app, i see flickering when pointing the camera to white objects(like a wall), and it is usually when i'm in a room.
in sunlight i can't see the problem, and when looking at dark objects it is less noticeable.
i did a test with my friend that has i9000 and we tested in the same room and he doesn't have this problem.
it also happens when shooting videos(i can see the flicker when playing back the file)
my rom is bionix-v.
this problem started before this rom, so i don't know if it's related.
thanks.
I tried to record some real time data on some equipment's panel screen today (at work place) using the sgs2 stock camera app video recording..
Many had told me the video recording suppose to have auto focus but the wordings are very blur and I can't identify each words at all during recording and also when playback.
At the end I have to borrow my colleague's iPhone 4 to get the job done, it focus immediately on the screen wordings and appeared clearly..
Normally I never use video recording but now I'm bugged by it lol
Am I doing anything wrong here? I'm using Checkrom 3.1.1 though I doubt they have tweaked anything on the camera app, it looks the same as the stock one.
I have an Alcatel One Touch Fierce and recently my back camera has been acting wierd, whenever I take a video if its a bit dark the video itself will get darker. if I'm outside its fine but in dim rooms its like the exposure sets itself to -100 and contrast to dark. If I move it to the window the video gets fixed and normal lighting. This only happens while recording, and when you save the video itself it saves the parts where it gets dark or back to normal when moved somewhere more bright. This started happening a month after I got the phone any ideas??? THANKS IN ADVANCE!
Hi guys,
I just bought a blackview A5 to find out what you can get for about 45€ It's incredible fast and everything works quiet well except playing videos. When I'm playing videos in an app like youtube or tagesschau (german tv channel) I've got a green flickering in the picture, especially if there are a lot of blue areas in the picture. It's like blue area become green then switching back to blue then green again and so on...It's looks a bit like an error in the video driver or video codec...I tried to update the firmware...but still same problem. Does anybody has an idea how to solve the problem? Do you think it's hardware related?
On developer option. Turn on disable hw overlay on developer options. If dint work turn off completely developer option. The flickering issue will solve.
Didn't work for me! Have the same problem.
Hi guys,
as the title said I am experiencing a glitch with my phone. The good news is that it occurs only a few times a year but I was wondering what's happening here. The side effect only occurs when I turn on the screen and vanishes on the next screen turn on. When I try to screen capture this it results in a "normal" screenshot (i.e., the side effect isn't visible). Clearing the cache doesn't seem to help. Here is the video (https://youtu.be/vZ0cBGjlBlM). Photos are attached bellow for a sharper picture because YouTube downgrades video quality.
If some of you didn't notice, the background photo on the "grayscale" image is the background photo I attached below (what should the phone actually be displaying).
Thanks for your help!
