Accidentally i make my Samsung YP-G70 Full Brick - Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0, 5.0

Hey People, iam Pedro from Brazil, and i need help.
i have tried to unbrick my samsung galaxy s player 5.0 using "ODIN" and in the middle of the update, the program fails, and now, my samsung don't turn on any light or any screen, it is totally death.
i need help. i really don't want to spend money on tech assistance (in Brazil its so expansive)
anyone knows whats happen to my samsung ?
Thanks.

Try putting it in download mode (power button + volume down button) and flash the stock rom.
Or else put it in recovery mode (volume up button + home button + power button) and wipe data and then I don't remember, 'restore' I think.

Don't work,
its dont enter in any mode, don't turn on any light, don't vibrate, don't do anything. only remains in blackscreen.

Now the system try to found "sec s5pc110 test b/d" driver...

Once you get there, flash the stock kernel found here ---> forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1520728
Theoretically, that should get you fixed.

Unbrickable will get things going. One could use a bootable Linux Mint disk so they didn't have to do a full Linux install if they didn't want to. It takes a little figuring and a right click to run the jar file Unbrickable is. Then to select the player option before activating the injection. Works good. If not, the player needs a hard reset with the power and home button first. That always works even in full brick.
That link provided above is the USA rom which isn't going to work with an international unit with the physical home button.
I think this is the thread he needs: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1444636

[Q] flashed NON-US rom to US yp-g1:need help

so i accidentally flashed a us yp-g1 with what looks like the Korean firmware and now my touch screen is inverted and i cant use the vol up and pow to re-flash it, any suggestions?
Download the app terminal emulator from the android market. Open it, type "su" and press enter, then "reboot download" and press enter and you should reboot to download mode and be able to flash back with ODIN.

Edit: now im stuck at the "android system recovery" and i can not use the power button to confirm a selection, on reboot it comes back to the "ASR" screen. any way to get aroud this so i can reflash?
How did you get to recovery? Typing reboot download should have gotten you to download mode, not recovery. Did you try plugging it into your computer and seeing if ODIN recognizes it? Otherwise, you could buy (or make) a "USB download jig", which allows a device to get into download mode. Search Google for it, they are cheap on EBay or if you have the right tools you could make one yourself.
While the USB cable is inserted and Odin is ready:
Long-hold (15+ seconds or so) power and VolDn
That should get you into download mode from which you can flash stock kernel/system
the power button isn't responding, I'm going with a USB jig. Is there anyway someone can point me in the direction of a good stock us rom to flash with Odin?
There's one lying around here somewhere I think... Worst case I've got a rooted stock I can upload somewhere.
I'm kind of surprised long-holding Power for 15 seconds or so doesn't cause a reset - that's a hardware feature!
i got the jig and am able to get to the download screen, i just need to get a hold of a us rom. the ones i have dont seem to want to take.

Bricked S2?

recently soft bricked my new AT&T S2.I have clockwork recovery installed (4.0.0.2), and the only buttons that work are home (goes back to the first menu), volume up/down, and power to hide the menus. I can't select anything at all, it seems like I have the international version of the recovery, not one for the S2.Anyways, I can't get into download mode by holding down the home + Vol up+ power, and Odin can't seem to connect to my phone if it's in clockwork recovery and not download mode.Would the jig work? Or is having no ability to boot into download mode pretty much a killer? I can access my phone through ADB, I just don't know my way around adb as well as I would like.Is there any way to flash a different recovery via ADB? Any other solutions to get my phone up and running again? Because right now it's not booting at all.
EDIT: Managed to get back into the system. It's running the International ROM instead of mine though, so the buttons are wonky. Does anyone know where I can find the ODIN files to flash back to stock AT&T S2?

First off, that's not how you get into download mode. Turn the phone off, hold both VOLUME BUTTONS ONLY, and plug in the USB cable.
With my phone, If I hold down both volume buttons and power on, it goes to clockwork recovery. If I turn the phone on holding the volume up and the home button, it goes to download (now).
I fixed that issue already though, the problem at hand is that I have the i9100 boot and firmware on here, and need the stock Odin files to fix. Can't find the files though. : /

...me too....
WOW DISREGARD - too stupid to realize soft buttons work with CWM recovery. They didn't before...very premature post, my apologies
For the bootloop, I selected Advanced in CWM recovery, and then selected "Fix permissions" then I installed update from SD card. Now it works! Back to being a noob and hating my life.
-----------
I seem to have bricked my phone too...I was using ROM manager to install cm9 update (yeah, I NOW know I should not have used ROM manager). I used ODIN to re-flash cwm recovery enabled kernel. I can go to recovery, but it does not let me select any of the menu options. And when I boot the phone, it still sends me into a bootloop.
One time it did say "signature verification failed" but it doesn't say that anymore, it just doesn't move. I've read around about signature verification issues, but I haven't found anything that gets me anywhere.
I know this is pretty noobish, but I really appreciate any help!

[Q] Bootloop: I'm an idiot...

My SGH-i777 is running the latest ported ROM based on the CM9 March 23rd nightly. I've made a terrible mistake. I was renaming my last backup via ROM Manager, and decided I might as well do another one since my set up was where I wanted it. Like an idiot, I did it via RM, even though I've read there's a bug. Well, needless to say my phone won't boot past the Samsung yellow triangle boot screen.
I've been searching for the best method to fixing the issue, but can't find a solid answer. I'm able to get into download mode, I'm just not sure the safest route from here...
I originally rooted via heimdall on a Mac, but also have a PC - which I'm actually currently downloading ODIN on there.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
If you can get into download mode use the full version of Odin to flash a kernel with cwm and uncheck auto reboot. Then you should be able to hold both volume keys with power to get into recovery. Then you can reflash cm9
You really have to make sure to uncheck auto reboot though cause any non ics kernel booting ics won't be good.
EDIT: to avoid this, are you able to get into cwm by holding both volume keys + power?

Thanks for the quick reply. OK, I'll try as soon as I get ODIN on my PC. No, I'm not able to get into CWM. Holding both volume keys + power just results in the Samsung boot screen.
I was able to use ODIN to flash a kernel with CMW, and got a PASS! - and I didn't check off Auto Reboot...
My phone is still showing the download mode screen, though, a progress bar is now visible.
From here, should I:
pull the battery
unplug USB
place the battery back in
volume up + down + power to CWM
reflash CM9
I thought I replied, but looks like it didn't go through.
Anyway, thanks again. I did pretty much exactly what you said, and I'm back on a fresh CM9 build, everything working.
So lesson learned...uninstall ROM Manager so I don't make a careless mistake like that again.

It seems I may have done the same thing...I'm stuck on Samsung with yellow triangle after downloading CM9 and launching RomManager. Odin won't recognize the phone. Would you mind posting a step-by-step for a simple minded man?

Can you get into download mode, like I could? Otherwise, I wouldn't know, sorry.
If you can, this is what I did (it worked for me, hopefully for you too, but you might want to search/read more before you dive in, just in case your problem isn't the same as mine):
power phone down
download a kernel with CWM to PC
if you never have, download/install drivers/Kies to PC
plug USB cable into phone/PC (phone still off)
hold vol down + power on phone to enter download mode
launch Odin on PC
uncheck reboot in Odin (important!)
add the kernel
run Odin
once you see PASS! in Odin, and the progress bar full/complete on your phone you're on the home stretch
while still plugged in, pull the phone battery
unplug USB from phone
battery back in
hold vol up + vol down + power to enter CWM
re-flash CM9
reboot
Good luck! Let me know how you make out.
Thanks
Turns out the only way I could get into download mode was pulling the battery, connecting to PC, holding power and volume and reconnecting to PC. Went right into download mode and I'm able to fix from there. Thanks so much! Didn't know that one! Appreciate all your help!

[Q] YP-G70 stuck on a screen after failed CWM Flash.

Hello guys. First of all, my native language isn't English, so sorry for something wrong. I'm from the GT-i5500 area, and I have CM10.1 on it. I have a friend wich has a YP-G70, and he loved Jelly Bean. We tryed to flash CWM, to install CM10 on it, but on the installation, Odin said FAIL and it is stuck at a screen. Every time my friend tries do shutdown it, it reboots into the same screen. What can we do? The screen looks like a phone and a computer, and a triangle on the middle.
Thanks anyway.
Its forcable download mode because u did not flash good..probably flashed wrong file..what file did you flash and from what section in Odin.
I had the same experience. I tried to get it off but it can't. I unplugged it off the USB cable and plugged it again, then reflashed. It worked for me.
Please tell me how did you fixed your Galaxy Player 5

Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 YP-G70 (with phisycal home button) bricked.
I accidentally flashed the rom to SGS-I9000B to the SGP 5.0 so it got bricked.
It's status is: doesn't turn on, doesn't enter in dowload mode (Volume down + Home + Power), doesn't show charging icon.
After weeks of exaustive researche, the only way I was able to enter in download mode was using the Adam's Outler procedure: Instaling Linux, Java, Oracle Virtual Box a version of Windows under VBOX, to run Samsung drivers and Odin after using Unbrickable Resurrector R40.
Well, using this procedure SGP 5.0 enters in downloading mode and when I use the PIT file and BootloadersOnly provided by Adam the result in Odin is PASS! Despite that SGP doesn't reboot and keeps the same way: doesn't turn on, doesn't enter in dowload mode (Volume down + Home + Power), doesn't show charging icon.
So I enter in download mode using Unbrickable Resurrector R40 again and try to flash several SGP 5.0 YP-G70 Intl ROMs: Stock Froyo, Stock Ginger Bread and some Customs ROMs most of them PASS in the Odin result BUT SGP 5.0 never reboots or turn on after the procedure.
I have a doubt of marking or not Re-partition in Odin, but the procedure just works if I mark it.
I feel I was close to resurrect it and make it work again but all I've got is frustration.
I'm not an expert as the major of you so I beg some enlightned soul show me the way to make it works: step by step and share with me the right files I have to use to make it works.
I also have installed Heimdall but I was not able to find the appropriate files to use it and SGP 5.0 can not have the batery removed. Someone wrote Adam has developed a tool for SGP full recovery but I didnt find it.
Please, folks, help me and I will share the solution with other people in the same situation.
Thanks and best regards.

Problem re rooting (cant get into download mode)

So I have been trying to figure this out and I am sure I could if I had more time. I have an ATT SGS2. I first got it with GB and then rooted it and flashed CM9, then to CM10. After wanting to change things up I went and tried to flash miui but it didnt seem to work and slightly bricked my phone. I then went back to stock firmware but it was for the International version (UK) and came with 4.0.4. Now from there I wanted to re root the phone and attempt the miui rom again but I cant get into download mode. I know that you would have to also hold down the home button but I only have touch buttons so I am thinking thats what the issue is. Can anyone help me out here I wouldnt have posted this but I am in the middle of packing to move across the country so any and all help would be very very appreciated.

Not sure what you mean =(
Did you actually flash a different bootloader? If not, it should still work. To get to download mode, use "adb reboot download"
Also, to root, you could probably just use ExynosAbuse.

I am confused because it wont go into download mode. my back and search button dont work either if that helps.
Recovery-hold volume up,volume down, power button until you boot into recovery. Download mode- same key combo, but with it plugged into the computer. Your back and search buttons don't work because you flashed the i9100 firmware.
The I-9100 package you flashed evidently contained the secondary bootloader, which changes the button configuration for download mode. If Phalanx's button combo for download mode doesn't work, try pulling the battery and leave it out, then hold the vol- button and plug in the usb cable that is connected to your computer. The computer will supply the power, and that should put you into download mode.
Once in download mode, go to the download repository - link in my sig - and flash one of the stock packages that contains bootloaders, or just flash the UCKH7 bootloader by itself.

The You need to change the kernel to one compatible with the I-777. It would be best to change the system as well. I would suggest that you find the I-777 firmware you would like to try from the development forums in this section, and flash that.
Yeh creepys right. It you absolutely want to stay on that firmware flash ajk kernel it will fix your back and search buttons. As always, read instructions on flashing before doing so in that thread in development section. Good luck, happy flashing.
