Hi everyone, I am on ginger real 1.4 rom of redmanner. I want to install a ICS THEMES which requires a app named theme chooser which is not included in this rom. Can someone tell me from where I can find a theme chooser apk for my ace separately?

its for cm and for some other aosp roms but not for stock rom
so.make theme for your gingerreal manually if want ics theme

Hey guys. I changed my bootanim(nexus bootanom). Now i want to change it again. But even when i replace the bootanimation.zip file with another one and deleted yhe initial one from the system/media fokder , it continues to show the same bootanimation(nexus). Sumone plz hekp me?

You must have also placed the bootanimation file in data/local.
Check again, and see that you replaced the file properly.
This is not any coding error or something, it shouldn't occur, i think it's a mistake on your part. Check system/media again and replace with new bootanimation

Hey guys , i hav my file in system/ media as well as data/local and i have set permissions to the data/localfile as rw-r-r. Even then my earlier bootanimation continues to show up and the new one does not play.

As far as I know, the file should be placed only in one location. Delete the bootanimation from both the folders. Copy the bootanimation file to system/media , rename it to bootanimation.zip, set permissions to rw--r--r--

Yeah, what tj_droid said. The only folder where you can put a bootanimation is in system/media and name it EXACTLY like this: bootanimation.zip. all lowercase and just one word. I was switching mine up the other day and left it with a big B, got the android 1.5 bootscreen that simply says ANDROID.
Im on stock rom I cant see any bootanimation.zip on ether of the locations.
Any ideas ppl

Its Easy,Folow the steps. (If u get error on 4/5 step,delete the .odex in folder Origi_app or Origi_frame and start it the step corrensponding to error.
If u have dificults on 13. Step, pm me or say here.
Rename File to "Vending.apk" and copy to /system/app/Vending.apk with Root Explorer(permission rw-r--r--.Make sure to uninstall any Updates of Previous Versions first.Root required.Have Fun!!!

i have found this thread here on xda and try to install it,like CWM,it have not work.So i have extract the zipfile and the Phonesky.apk in Vending.apk renamed,than with root explorer copied to system/app,permissions set on rw-r--r--,rebooted and see:IT WORKS WITHOUT PROBLEMS.I have nothings deleted from previous version or something,just replaced the v.3.8.15.

I know its seems nooby but can any themer try theming the cm7 rom into AOSP-look-a-like?
I know cm7 is based on AOSP and they r more or less the same, just doing some minor changes is ok.....but......I m not a dev im a noob so plz can anyone try it.....
It is better if u can add performance scripts into it sich as Adrenaline Engine....etc.
I know there is a AOSP themed stock ROM there but the language pack in it is incomplete and i cant use it.......only the cm7 language pack is working well for me....
Woth many thanks plz do a few tweakings on cm7 and release a AOSP thened ROM.....plz....

I hv deletedvthe CMSetting apk, but Cyanogenmod Settings remain in the Option menu, is there any way to remove it????
And after I remove it, will the settings inside be kept???

Delete the line with cmparts
