What is the best kernel for battery life and usage on CM9?
Try the stock kernel from Turl1's ICS. So far that one is the best for me.
Gonna get it now

hi i was wondering what kernel would best suit my vibrant no internet on it mainly used for texting and games please and ty i am on cm7
dpends on what type of gb rom you're running.
i have no experience with samsung based gb roms, but i do know that if you're running cm7, glitch v11 is a great kernel! insane uv, voodoo color (the nexus s version), voodoo sound, 1.7GHz OC.
yes i am running the current nightly cm7
then try glitch v11 for vibrant.
If you ever get the need to flash something different from cm7 try miui, its a nice change and is even more theme-able then cm7 but if texting is all you use your phone for try edt's trigger since it has superior battery life so you can text all day and night
Hey guys
I know its a repeated question but I have been trying several roms with all the different kernels on my SGS2 and the only one that I have found is the Foxhound Rom which gives me a decent battery life. But now I flashed Rootbox because I wanted to have the new TW launcher on the phone...I usually underclock the processor to 800Mhz on Ondemand profile....I installed the latest 1.7 version using the Darknight, CM9 and Siyah kernels and the battery lasts me for just a day of moderate usage mostly because I can see the phone deep sleep about 60-70% of the time? I also dont know if flashing a new modem will make a difference.
Can anyone advise me as to how I can reduce it and possibly get a better battery life? Also I am gonna try the Rootbox with Fluxi kernel as bajee11 uses that on his kernel? But if anyone else is on the same ROM and getting a decent battery life, can you please advise me and also suggest CPU profile that you are using?
All help much appreciated

For ics I use try dark knight 1.8 and it's really good. Are you giving it a few cycles for the battery?

Ok so Im running steal's 25 badass latest rom, but my problem is my battery keeps draining real quick, I'm currently running a stock tiamat ICS kernel and I know kernels have usually a lot to do with battery life expectancy and phone speed. So i would like to know which kernel is so far the best and most stable for the HTC EVO 3d? Please and thanks.
Anthrax without a doubt is the best kernel you could use on your 3d

Hello Guys,
What, in your opinion, is the best, most stable ICS or JB rom. I am currently running CM10 stable and although it is really nice, it has some lag and it drains my battery. I am looking for another good rom. Good kernels are also welcome. Thanks!
The Best
The best ROm out there is RemICS-JB v1.0(Team Remics). Has not let me down.
What is the best kernel for battery life? (radon or blaze?) Thanks!
You can try both. It seems that most users prefer radon.
