Hello Guys!
At first, i want to thank you for this forum on the Tsunagi!
With Roms posted on here, you can have a phone for everyday use, finally.
But I have a problem, which I can't solve alone.
After changing back from WP7 to WM 6.5 I can't start any 3D based app.
iGO for Navigation, FPSECE for PSX or a random game like Asphalt 4 won't work, it just keeps exiting to File Explorer or Home Screen again.
Does somebody know how I can fix that?
Flashed 10x Roms already, from 6.1 to 6.5.5, and it still happens.
Sincerly,
LordYuuki
ironically, i just found the solution.
my version of FPSECE was not compatible with tg01, because I had the 0.11 version for the HD2. After backing up to my 0.10 it runs.
iGO runs after formatting my SDCard, as does Asphalt 4.

Hi there,
I'm having a T-Mobile MDA Touch Plus (branded HTC NIKI 2000) that originaly came with jBlend. But jBlend is a very bad midlet manager. Neither its able to connect to the internet without errors, nor does any game come further than the loading screen. I already tried jBed as well, but was very disappointed after I downloaded Worms 2008 and the softkeys didn't show up, because the game ran in fullscreen mode. Can it really be so hard to get a real working midlet manager?
I read of people that play tons of j2me games on their htc without problems. Can you help me?
Thanks,
Bachsau
Which version of Esmertec Jbed have you tried out? There are a lot of them flying around in the XDA Dev's forum and all with different compabilities!
I tried something with 200711.... that was dumped from a HTC Kaiser
Do a serch for the latest 2008xxxx version, it's working nearly perfect for me!
Hi all
The TomTom 5.2 runs on my HTC S740 but i can not enable the GPS
Receiver,
only Bluetooth Receiver are selectable...not the build in GPS Receiver.
any solution?
regards schiefersoft
You might need to try the Microsoft GPS Intermediary Driver configuration.
Have a look at Paul's post on Modaco.
See: http://www.modaco.com/content/smart...-utility-for-configuring-gpsid-on-smartphone/
I'm not 100% sure it'll help as I don't have this phone nor have I tried it. But from what I know, this is an important link
thank you for your reply but this tool doesnt work on the S740

Are you sure it doesn't work on the S740? So you installed it and tried it?
Try posting on the Modaco thread I posted if you don't get much response here. I think it should work on the S740.
In short, without this utility installed and working there's no other way for TomTom to know about the internal GPS. This utility is supposed to help TomTom connect to the internal GPS.
Someone gave it a try, see post, and it didn't work.
Any news on making TT5.2 detect the internal GPS?
TomTom working
Hi , I got tt5.2 to work with the internal gps , I put the settings on other bluetooth receiver , and com4 .
Work perfectly
Only problem is the key mapping , no delete button
Hi, can you describe this more in detail please?
thanks
I only got the phone yesterday , So it is still standard .I run the quickgps app , then installed TT , and used My Mobiler to set the TomTom settings as you need a touoch screen to change the settings .
Please let me know what Info I can provide that will help you
Regards
Werner, you probably aren't using TT 5.2, cuz for that one you don't need a touch screen (the Rose hasn't).
But Schiefersoft, you can use the newer TTN versions (6 or even 7) also on your Rose, in addition you need an application that puts a cursor on your non touchscreen that you can use to point. Google FakeCursor here or on the net and give it a try.
Big advantage is you can use the newer version 6 or 7 maps.
On my very old non touchscreen HTC StarTrek (aka Smartflip) i used TTN7 with FakeCursor.
Use the Garmin XT 5.0 Instead !!
Works for the Windows Smartphone and PPC !!
Works Like a Charm on the HTC Rose...
Other GPS Software is Route 66 version 8 or the IGO Version 8.
This should also work fine on the Htc Rose.

Hi everyone, I have recently upgraded to a touch pro and installed NFSFAN windows 6.5 rom. I then installed iGuidance 2009 from the cd. While the application works the TTS (text to speech) that reads the actual street address doesn't work. The regular directions which are waves do execute but not the TTS part. I have read the forums and even tried the registry changes as someone suggested but it was a no go.
Anyone have any insight as to what the issue is?
Anyone have any insight here?
tried
I tried things that was suggest still no work. Any help would really be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tony
Tony, what rom are you running? I am running NFSFANS 6.5 Rom and I wondering if its just the rom or just tts on windows 6.5 not working.
rom
I tried all the roms and still giving me the same problem. the tts for the street name is not working.
Thanks,
Tony
tonsa thanks for that update. Wow this really sucks. I read one person over ppc users who mentioned he was running 6.5 and navigator was working. Just can't quite understand what is causing this.
FYI, running a HTC Touch Pro. My iguidance TTS hasn't been reading street addresses at all since I got this phone (running a 6.5 windows rom "NFans"). Yesterday I had my Blue Tooth "ON", and finally iGuidance TTS worked! I didn't even have my actual bluetooth activated just the bluetooth on via the com manager.
Hope this helps everyone out there!
Hi,
Not sure if this has been posted somewhere - search gave me nothing.
Using the official HTC ROM for HD2 (latest one on their site).
When i power on the radio application, then minimize it and open IE to browse internet, whenever i rotate the device (portrait to landscape and back), the radio station changes with every 90deg rotation.
Logged a ticket to HTC but no news so far.
Do you guys have the same?
thanks.
Hi! I tried and nothing wrong for me.
My Rom:"grzegorz10_Dusk-Ultimate_2_HD2_WM_23569_v6_00_CHT_v2_0_0".
My radio is: 2.12.50.02_2
Manila: 2.5.20181424.0
thanks, however i think this happens only with the ROM HTC has produced few days ago for the HD2 ...and which no one around this forum uses 'cause everyone nowadays builds its own rom
Noob here - bear with me please.
I've tried searching this forum without success (probably because my questions is too general) and I don't have the patience to scan all 200+ pages.
Recently upgraded from HTC Tilt2 (WM6.5) to a Samsung Focus, customized to Phone7.8. Loved the Hardware, software not so much.
Found there were certain must-have features of WM6.5 that I just couldn't duplicate in WP7+.
So, here I am - I have a "new" HTC HD2 - which seems to have universal glowing reviews. Have spent the last few days installing various needed WM6.5 apps.
I've read a lot here about the ability to dual-boot with WM6.5 and Android. What I don't fully understand is what is it about Android that everyone wants? I know there are thousands (maybe even millions) of Android apps out there. How do you choose?
I would appreciate a few replies what Android apps are "killers" and drove the decision to set up the HD2 for dual-boots.
Windows Mobile 6.5 died long time ago. If you still have HD2 install Android and you will discover new World!
Well ...

My Friend ... Dual - Booting Means Having Two OSs At The Same Time ... Like WPH7.8 + Android Or WM + Android ( As I Have Tried , The WPH + Android Through Magldr Is The Best Because In Magldr You Can Directly Choose Which OS To Boot But In WM + Android You Have To Boot In WM Then You Can Boot Android Through WM Or Keep Using The WM ) ... If Were Intrested In WPH + Android Then Let Me Sow You Some thing Useful ... Here ... If Got Any Question Or Problem ... I Would Be Glad To Help ...
With Best Wishes

You could have a Android rom on sd card & keep wm6.5 on device & have a play with android & its apps, won't be hard to choose what apps you want in Android as most of them are complete junk.
More info on SD Android can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/hd2-android/sd-dev
