Suggested Thread(Dev opinions needed)

Suggested Thread Idea(Sorry if in wrong section), if devs do not want this, could a mod please delete this? Thanks!
This thread is meant to relieve the load on devs and provide a source of ideas for them. No offense to devs, I'm not insulting your capabilities. Besides, I hardly know any programming.
Anyway, I'm thinking of collecting suggestions from the many people who make up this X10 mini developing community. I'm sure all of us would want to help as this benefits everyone. Also, some of us here have knowledge of Linux Kernel programming(although not in android) and could help. No questions are to be posted.
Here is an example of the format needed -
Kernel Unlocking - Fool the bootloader! <- This is the title.
Concept: Instead of trying to deactivate or skip the locked bootloader, is it possible to actually fool the bootloader into thinking the one you are trying to load is legitimate? Perhaps by imitating the properties of the kernel that the bootloader looks for, we could load a custom kernel onto the phone.
So, a question to devs - would you rather want or not want this? Thanks!

[CLOSED] Discontinuing Roms

Fellow patrons
I can no longer run the projects I was working on. I do not have a PC of any kind to work on them. If you would like to take over, OR lend me a PC, I will greatly allow it. But until then, all of the Grand Prime ROMs are discontinued. Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Slenderman8090
Please help me,i need root g530h to install custom roms
McCrow, I am an SM-G530T specialist. For something like the G530H, I would recommend talking to Has.007 or use Kingroot by going to http://kingroot.org

Developer options very limited

Hello,
I have a crazy idiot version of Android 4.4.2 on an Allview Viva i10g tablet (x86). I'm unable to root it, nor to updrade, change OS, anything. A lot of apps not working. I wanted to change, since some of the last updates of GAPPS store is blocking, Google and Maps block my tablet. But I was unable with the tools and procedures I've found for x86.
The craziest thing is that IO have only USB debug option in Developer options. All others are hidden.
I want to stream with Miracast to my MiniX neo tv box, and I get black screen. I understood that I have to activate some options in Dev options, but I don't have them!!!
Is there a way I can unlock all the Dev options of Android? With this crazy tablet I'm ready on everything to fix this crazy issue...
Thanks?!

I don't have this device but, the forum is extremely limited for this specific device...
I did locate one thread that does have a member stating that he was able to Root this device. Don't be afraid to ask for some member guidance within it.

Read/Write permission in Bluestacks

Just curious but I've been doing research into this topic and have not been able to find the answer.
Has bluestacks always denied read write permissions in every version?
If not, at what point did they start denying read write?
My bluestacks version is 2.5.97.6358. Yes I know I can use bluestacks tweaker to root it but my goal is to permanently root it. I have found a few guides on the web that detail how to do this. At least one of them is right here on XDA.
But when I get to the point where I am supposed to mount system as read write, I am unable to achieve read write status.
Does anyone know if it's possible to do? Thank you

Ok thank you Ibuprophen. I will read those links you posted. At least one of them is pretty old. Do you think it will still be relevant for my version of bluestacks?

It all depends on the subject matter.
There's older information (even on closed threads) that provided me with valuable information.
I always try to encourage others to do their homework and research information to better familiarize themselves and any information is better than no information.
The age of the information only matters with areas that are outdated in itself.
I have a Galaxy S3 and a bit more than 50% of the information out there are older than a year +/- but, still applies to this day.

Ok thank you Ibuprophen. I guess I was just worried that the app developers, as time went by, changed or added something to stop end users from gaining read write access. They have released so many versions, updated so many times. but I will definitely follow your advice and read those because you are right, a lot of the old information is still valid today.

How to Root Fujitsu F02G

The various root methods remain unsuccessful, maybe you have someone who have the files or links are happy if anyone wants to share. because sharing is beautiful. Thank you very much
