the device "Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562" is almost same as our "Dell Streak 5" it has
CPU: Both from same manufacturers "Qualcomm Snapdragon" chip same as ours but its MSM7227A.
GPU: "Adreno 200".
Android: ICS 4.0.4 upgradable to JB 4.1
So is it possible to port its rom to our device ??

Hopefully after the new year, the development on DS5 will resume, i will repair my DS5, i've seen that kibuuka returns and maybe djsteve will return as well.
Happy new year!
On XDA there are many GUIDES on how to port a rom. But I wanted to ask is it possible to port Xperia or Sense rom for Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-9100. For exmaple there are Xperia phones that use arm7 CPU and Mali 400 GPU that Galaxy S2 have. If its posible can you tell me whats the best tutorial or way to port. If I port the rom will the system sony apps or sense app full work on s2? Thanks for the help. I wanted to post this on Galaxy S2 Q&A but Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting visits all android users, and S2 only s2 users.
I have samsung galaxy s duos with dual sim card and MSM7227a qualcomm processor. and all of people know if this phone is really slow.
I've been looking for the other phone which have similiar specifications and i found the zte V889D. zte V889D is dual sim card phone with MSM7227a processor too. And my question is "is it possible to port the zte rom to my sgs duos?" i've found lewa rom for the zte and i want to port it to my sgs duos. it is ICS, same with my sgs duos. and if it possible, what should i do first with this.
sorry for my bad english
Yeah, I know theres a lot of topics like that.
But is possible to port ROM from Galaxy Win Pro Duos (GM3812)?
Both the CPU and GPU are the same, and the phone comes with Android 4.2
I dont know what specifications the phone may have to be possible to port, if anyone can tell me I will be grateful
Hi, could be take a port for the Galaxy S3 I9300 with the rom stock Touchwiz of Galaxy S5 Mini G800F when it will be realesed (Exynos 3470 Quad Core 1,4 GHz - Mali 400MP4) to the Galaxy S3 I9300 (Exynos 4412 Quad Core 1,4 Ghz - Mali 400MP4). I think that it possible because it has the same graphics card and a similar processor. Thank you for your response.
Anyone know this ??
Please, anyone tell me that is posible ??
I hope that is possible, i would download it. Have you researched to find anyone that has ported it?
I don´t found any post in any web
I don´t have found any post/thread about this on xda, htcmania. I aren´t a developer, I am only a beta tester and a user of TW ROMs. Have a nice day ))
At the moment any people has ported it
At the moment any people has ported it, the only thing I have looked is this post /thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/themes-apps/tw-lollipop-s5-s6-ui-framework-theme-t3056535 at the final of page 1 and page 2.
Nice rom
Well there's S5 Sensation ROM. But there is no complete stock port yet. If there were it would be just as buggy as the Mega 2 ROM I told you about
