Hey use DDKQ8 for now...........CM9 is not finally released .........you can give it a try ..............but I can assure you DDKQ8 experience wont make you feel sorry.
tested nightly past week...looks good bt stl a long way to catch up wth GB roms...
anyways......cn i flash it directly from XWKS9 to DDKQ8?

ofcourse you can do..........don't forget to do a wipe data factory and wipe cache(in case you get a bootloop error)

Hey guys, first of all im sorry for starting a new thread..
Ive got this weird problem on my wi-fi..and it started when im using stock roms..
it just scan>connect>then gets disabled quickly..
the problem just continue to occur when i turn on my6 wi-fi..
im using StockliteV6 now and i already tried flashing different kernels but no use..
I dont know if it is OS or hardware problem..
can someone give me some tips/fix for this? thanks in advance guys..

U r not alone dude...many r facing this problem(including me.. .though 2.3.5 firmware ressolved mine) ..try to reinstall the wifi drivers..in dialer type *#*#526#*#*...hope i helped...

Try to update ur firmware version ..stock 2.3.5 or 2.3.6 ..then flash these custom roms...btw this is a common problem witg samsung phones

i have updated my neo a week ago and after that i am facing a problem regarding to wi fi..network.
when i turn wi fi on it shows turning on wifi but never says wifi is actually on. and it doesn't even show any search result when i search for wifi network...i tried loads of times after creating my own hotspot but it never showed me results so here i am posting this issue if get a help from you guys pls help me
so what shall i do to overcome this issue ???

how did u update your hphone?? flashtool or pcc??
happened with me too.. Just repair the phone using the update centre...
or even before that boot into cwm (i assume u are having it) wipe caches.. and do a factory reset...
might help.. or Yu can try reconfguring your modem

If you have unlocked bootloader, then flash a new kernel compatible with stock ICS.
If you have locked bootloader, flash the latest .ftf file using flashtool.
I have updated through pc updater.....
And manil before I updated I had re locked bootloader....n

Why do you wanna extract them? Just install them via recovery.

this happened after i install an another rom on it, and now I return into the official rom that I have,
but the problem does't solve !

Is the problem with contacts on the sim card, or are you not detecting it at all (no carrier)?
If it's just the contacts, it's related to the kernel you're using (rafael burgis' kernel). Just save your contacts to your google account instead.

the only way to solve this problem was to reinstall the official rom !!
of course after that I restore everything and there is no problem, but I don't know why !!

Its d bug in d kernel. If u flash any custom rom u wil face d problem again coz all roms hv rafael's kernel. So before u flash a custom rom, make a backup on sd card or google account.

I think it's possible to install the official kirnal on custom roms, isn't?
if I can do that without any bugs, I hope someone give us the official kirnal that can we install it

I extracted stock boot.img from xxlh2 to flash trough CWM. Rafael edited it for me. so credits goes to him.

Thx friends they helped me to upgrade ICS..
But i think ICS is a little slowly for our phone cuz of 512 mb RAM..
Will someone try to develop CM7 for our phone ? If no Why ?
Isn't there somone thinks like me ICS is too slow in our phone ?

ICS is much faster than gingerbread on the Xperia U, if you're having problems try a factory reset.

try cm9 fxp201 its so fast!!!!
so heres what i did.. i flashed the rom called Checkrom RevoHD and i didnt want it ...its so outdated i went to its recovery menu it was also outdated i could only choose install zip from exsdcard.. i tried flashing other rom it wouldnt work.. so i tried diffrnt kernel it didnt work then i tried Installing Philzz kernel and it flashed it then i reboot and now its not working anymore.. no recovery menu and no start up ,samsung logo appears then it gets pixelated bad picture and nothing more..
*i can go into Download mode..* pls tell me will it work again if i use stock..? im downloading a stock rom :C and after that what kernel or how can i flash into Jelly bean again i dun want to brick it .

Try flashing another Safe Kernel like SpeedMod than do a Full Wipe and finally Flash a Jelly Bean ROM :good:
