Well chaps, I did some searching, can't find the answer.
A while ago, I undervolted my phone, all was well, I was happy. However I've just installed the SE cosmic flow LWP and when I open up certain things from the home screen, there is a noticeable lag.
Anyway, point is, I wanna test this LWP with original voltages, which I neglected to write down, so would anyone be able to let me know.
LA4 rom, siyah 2.6.13 kernel incidentally.

There are several newish UV threads.
Try a search for magicconfig by geko95gek.

Here you go.
Splendid, thanks. Best set the GPU back to stock too, don't suppose anyone knows them settings?

160/267 from memory (not 100% sure tho) but you might want to search to confirm (do a Google search with XDA appended to your search terms rather than using the search function on XDA).
You might have a bit of reading to do to find the answer.
Thanks. Set everything back to stock, but it seems the cosmic flow LWP is inherently laggy. Still, as its been ported from Sony Ericsson its acceptable. Kind of reminds me of my old Hero.

Is there a simple way to enable this? All the options I have seen seem to include other modifications too via replacing a framework file.
Do Samsung block it on the phone or do they take it out alltogether. I understand the reason is because of poor performance on occasion but it has always been fine on my phone...
Any ideas?

Have you seen this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1152668
I don't think you'll find an easier way.
Kinda funny, because I disabled it on Cognition ROM. You can have mine.
Thanks I hadn't seen that one. Will give it a try once the 2.3.4 update goes official (unless anyone fancies doing a KG6 version...)
Brought back memories reading about how all the processes come crashing down when you change the file while the phone is running... oops...

Is there Any way to remove the led notifications completely from stock 2.2 froyo rooted. Its really annoying and kills my battery. On psx4droid for example every press on the screen lights up leds.... i wanna disable em if possible.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA Premium App
it may be kernel led notify, cant do anything but reflash kernel, are you on bali?
im on stock froyo rom 2.2 but i dont want any custom roms.... I like wifi calling, the stock camera, tethering, and 2.2 unless a rom gets all of those i dont really wanna use any....

Can anyone help me with this
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA Premium App
Thats not led notifs.. thats just your keys leds .
If you flash certain roms like ics passion, uou can make em not light up or timeout quicker
Flashing roms is a good thing, dont be a sourpuss lol
sent from the xda app on my android smartphone.
Its not so much a sourpuss its the features, I love ics. But the calculator doesn't have scientific view, some things are still messed up like random fcs on home screen and gallery, and you can't completely disable the leds. On cm7 the camera sucks I like the stock one so I stayed on stock froyo one downside of being me is I'm very picky lol if I could make my own rom from stock I'd be all set haha
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA Premium App
Lol your right, .5seconds is not nothing....
And well i understand you... except i dont really see how you can accept stock froyo being as picky as you are... it would just seem to me like youd find so much wrong with it... i did.
sent from the xda app on my android smartphone.
Well its not froyo I like its the small features. If I could keep the stock camera and calculator(need scientific for school) and a few other things(I like Swype) and the notification bar settings, as well as froyos amazing battery life (I get 8 hours of heavy music games and text/call whereas ics I get 6) I would definitely go to cm7 or ics but I'm not that good with flashing and all that junk I just got a huawei ideos about 3 months ago then my vibrant about two months ago and I learned the basics of flashing, stock upgrades kernels etc. Personally I'm 18 in a few days and I'm either getting a galaxy 2 or a Sony vaios with Verizon but idk yet. Love this phone but I play alot of games especially psx4droid so PSP phone is more practical for me, although ill still have this for games and backup
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA Premium App
Um for the calc and whatnot, cant you just look on the market?
sent from the xda app on my android smartphone.
Calc yes cam no I tried to find a nice camera and theres none like the stock camera so I really dont need em although I might just stay with ics for a few days and tweak it to my liking. Maybe after new years ill reflash to ics again

Hi all, I've some problems with my undervolted S3 (but same issues has my brother with his undervolted Note 2).
If I undervolt my phone (-25mV/-50mV/-75mV, ecc...all values are the same thing), lag problems appear with youtube app and also with other video, like flashplayer. Lag appears after about 10 minutes I'm watching some HD videos, and I must reboot S3 to solve the problem, infact change voltages to default values don't help.
I used apps like Voltage control or CPU tweaker, that allow to create different profiles whit different values, but when the lag appears, also if I select profile with default values the problem remains until i reboot...
How do you solve this problem? If you undervolted your phones, how you solve the lag problem? Thx for replies
There is an old saying back in my question.
Literally translation: if you want your horse to run, you have to feed it first.
Did you try other kernel?

Next time, post your problems in Q&A section for more help.
This time, try different kernel or don't use UV as is not much point anyway...

Already tried
So, I think there's no solutions for lag when phone is undervolted, but is strange that lag persists when I come back at default profile.

OK... as far as we know, every phone has its own tolerable voltage... You said even default voltage causes lag as well, may be you should overvoltage to see if you can get it stable?
Maybe it's related with ROM?

I haven't tried overvolt, but is possible that default values I see when open for the first time Stweaks or Set CPU aren't right for my phone?
My rom is Foxhound with siyah kernel.

I would suggest you try stock ROM and stock kernel first, if it's all OK with stock, then first try other kernel, if using other kernel still OK, then perhaps it could ROM problem, anyway, you have to slowly determine where or what part went wrong and cause lag

i can understand that it annoys a lot when phone lags....
also creating a thread in wrong place/section annoys a lot of people around here..
so next time ask question in q&a section
anyways for your problem of lagging..
- disable all animation from display settings (will help in restoring few fps)
- make sure u are using correct cpu settings..
- make sure that max frequency set is 832mhz..
- for speed, preffered governers are, smartassv2, performance, scary, lagfree and set i/o shedualer to bfq or noop..
i use those settings..!!
- even if that doesn't help much then reboot ur phone.
- or flash cosmic mods by areebjamal
hope it works

I agree with srt99... I just flashed Cosmic Mods and my phone is now a flash. I recommend this a lot.

Or worst case scenario flash a different rom that intrigues you.
I'm scared to mess up my player somehow when I put a room on it. So any alternate things I can do to improve it with out a rom??
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Improve in what way? You can install a custom kernel on it to boost performance a bit. You can also get some root apps from the play store like no frils cpu tuner. If talking about look of the UI you can also get another launcher. Adw, launcher pro, and holo launcher seem to work the best on stock rom.
Sent from my PD_SuperNova using xda app-developers app
I already have a launcher on it more so looking for as to improve it. Will a kernel make a big difference??
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Not unless you put a custom rom on it...why are you afraid of putting a rom on it? Best thing you can do for your phone..

In my opinion it does. I was like you and didn't want to install a custom rom at all. I installed just the kernel and it did increase my battery life by a good margin. Most kernels increase your max clock speed to 1.2ghz, and give you the option to set a governor that manages your clock speeds better than stock, which also helps with performance. Also you sometimes get the option to undervolt, and that does help with battery life. I forgot to mention that when you use a custom kernel you get the ability to make nandroid backups with CWM (and it's the easiest way to get CWM on our players)
But just like Unhived__Mind said adding a custom rom vastly increase the abilities our galaxy player has lol.
