Two way call recording on Live With Walkman - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

I am opening this thread to ask/discuss with some SE Live With Walkmann owner if there is the ability to record both side of a phone call. I have read throughout the forum that most of the app available on the market would probably do not work unless the phone is rooted and a custo kernel is installed. Now, i found here on xda 2 custom kernel (Rage Kernel v2.6 and X kernel 2.6.32.58 ZRAM) for this smartphone that enable "2way recording". So i was wondering if anyone tried to install these custom kernel and then try the app CallRecorder by skvalex.
Thanks in advance to anyone who will answer this thread .

Hi!
I´ve never heard about a modification for S3 targeted specifically towards call recording.
If you want to do call recording i only know of one way to do this. Sadly though it isn´t free. Here goes:
On Google Play there is an app called "Call Recorder Galaxy S2 & S3". There´s a link for the trial version here.
Please note the reviews of the full paid app aren´t all positive so the trial version for initial testing could be a good idea, allthough for me the full app runs flawlessly.
In the latest iteration this app needs root so if you aren´t rooted and don´t want to root it will not work.
Fortunately root is easily obtained and i can only recommend it as there are so many other things possible with it.
Look here for rooting instructions.
Regards & happy new year.

if you could decompile secphone.apk (with wanam instruction) please share it with me to replace it with my secphone.apk
Free app here to record calls but sound quality isn't the best.

Then why don't you find a ROM with call recording features? A lot of them have the feature so it's not hard to find
Install the Xposed framework and Tweakbox and you can enable it in there without having to replace any APKs or lose the odexing of your stock, original ROM.

That happens when the phone is starting up and your files are still scanning (if your uptime is quite high, OTOH, you should probably check to see if MediaScannerService isn't going crazy with your files). It's a Samsung bug/feature. Since Tweakbox enables the original audio recording function in SecPhone, you're gonna see it even if you modify SecPhone directly. In Xposed, someone can bypass the check by replacing the method checkMediaScannerRunning() with one that returns Boolean.FALSE, but I haven't really looked to see if it would break anything
It has low quality too!
I think that it's better to install a foxhound rom!
I had it but return to this stock rom!
because every one or two weak it has a new update and made me sadly! (my connection is too slow! my download speed at most is:50 kbps!!!)

[Q][4.4.2] Screen Record On CM11-Based ROM

Since google has released their new android version , KitKat , there have been tons of new features embedded in the version. As the title says I was,and still am curious on how to use the screen record feature which has been introduced in the new version.I tired using the in-built screen recorder of the ROM but later found out that the ROM I was using did not have the feature.I also tried using Koushik Dutta's Screen cast app which he developed but then after using it my device device started to lag a lot.It was lagging a lot while recording. The phone was not usable while using the screen record app.Any help or any idea how i can avoid thus annoying thing ? I googled but found nothing.I Searched XDA and found nothing.
P.S. : I hate those screen cast apps in the play store so i would not even bother trying out those.
Device : Galaxy s2 GT-i9100
ROM: CyanAOSP v1.5.0 and its compatible Gapps ( running on Dalvik runtime )
Kernel : Gustavo's kernel for KK -cwm
Thanks a lot for your time and Please Help .

Call recorder for 108?

Hi,
I was looking for the call recorder add on mod for my rooted and unlocked .108 , can you guys locate me to the zip?
I don't know about stock kernel, but I know ACR works with DooMKernel. You could also try the XRecorder Xposed module.
As a side note, the only recorder I've found working on a CM/Slim kernel is skvalex' Call Recorder, set to CAF. It's a great app with a very responsive developer.

If your country finds it legal, use cyanogenmod 11 (latest snapshots or nightlies). Or you can use xposed to find a module to do this. If not, don't bother.

Don't use any custom kernel backup ur data and flash aex or LR or DotOS they all have escrima x24 which is an awesome stock kernel and yeah voice chat works flawlessly on any ROM with that kernel although there is no flashable zip so u need to flash the ROM and then enjoy O_+
I guess you're using ABC. That's a problem with ABC and it's stock kernel. Change rom
Which dot os sagar one or another
It is an issue with agni kernel. Use stock kernel or other custom kernels.
Same problem here.
I know the problem is because of agni kernel and in stock kernel there is no problem but for those who have audio jack stuck problem like me use agni kernel for jack stuck fix and can't use stock kernel. I hope there could be a way to have both "agni kernel + pubg voice chat". I really hope someone should come up with a fix.
