anker 3500mah battery anyone got this? - HTC EVO 3D

Hello,
I am planning to place an order for anker 3500mah for evo 3d sprint with backcover. its comes in my budget and bulky body doesnt matter me.
I am only concern of long lasting battery. can anyone can review this who have purchased it?

no reply yet? anyone? btw i ordered one from ebay. let see.

I got a 3500mah battery from handhelditems, its not branded with anything special, picked it up for $9.99,
And it lasts me a good 14hours easy with pretty heavy use...

That doesn't seem like heavy use. Looks like you have your screen on for about an hour maybe 2....

I am asking about anker one, which is quite good as per other batteries. unbranded 3500mah really not that good. They have launched this 3500mah battery few days before it cost around 18.99$ on ebay.

Gorilla Gadgets 3400 Mah Extended Battery (with a stockish cover!)

http://gorillagadgets.com/htc-evo-3d-extended-life-battery-3400-mah.html
Looks good! Not like the Seidio cover (yuk). I will post more when I receive mine in the mail and run a comparison.
Not bad for 27.99 if the battery is what its advertised at.
UPDATE 10/3/11
Received a replacement from Gorilla Gadgets due to battery contact issues and a cracking cover...BE WARNED, THE NEW REPLACEMENT IS A "Wedge" COMMON TO THE eBay SPECIALS! THE BATTERY IS ALSO SIGNIFICANTLY LARGER (in size) BUT A STICKER PULL REVEALS 1650x2 = 3300MAH (less than advertised!) NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!
Man I don't like that hump at all!
I still think that the eBay extended battery doors look the best.

Mike! Long time no talk to! I ordered an ebay one for additional comparison. Can't afford nor do I want the Seidio (maybe just the battery)

Glad you hit me up on GTalk bro!
Yea I'm not a fan of the Seidio door or price tag either. The battery though is probably the best extended available. Seidio battery with eBay door would be the setup that I would like.
I didn't use my extended battery for my Evo 4G enough for me to justify buying one for the 3D though. I have 2 Galilio 2000mah ( more like 1300mah) already and 2 Anker 1930mah on the way. I'll just keep a couple extra batteries with me if I ever think I'll be away from a charger long enough to need one. I'm using WTSB 1.3 Rom and get around 20 hours Up and 8 hours Awake with my normal usage. That is more than enough for me 95% of the time..
I have a car charger in each of my 3 vehicles, a wall charger and dock at home, and a wall charger at work. Very rarely do I need more battery life than 1 full charge.

Man, that's the ugliest thing I've ever seen! I literally would not use the phone if it looked like that. Title should say "looks stock... with a brick on the back".

I read that as well but the person didnt back up how they know it was only 2600mah. Only way to tell is to pull stickers or test.
It is ugly, but compared to the "door wedge" from Seidio and the fact that I can put my TPU case on it (with a little modification) its a winner for me. I have the cheapo eBay cover coming as well with the "no chance in hell" 3500mah battery. Pics will follow!
http://www.expansys.com/expansys-extended-battery+back-cover-for-htc-evo-3d-3400-mah-220468/
Just ordered one of these from Expansys UK, it looks exactly the same as the Gorilla, without the branding sticker, I will be interested to see if it is the reported 3400mah especially for £11.99!
I actually like the gorilla backing. It looks better than all I've seen so far. At least the whole thing is not a brick.

Yeah me too, I think its more in keeping with the design of the phone.
I'm hoping maybe I can modify a rugged case to accommodate it like I did with my Defender and HD2.

Now to test the battery life. I did a sticker pull and found each battery has a 1700 on it! 1700 X 2 = 3400mAH as advertised. Excellent.

What is the best extended battery for this phone?

I'm looking to buy an extended battery for this phone right now online and curious which is the best and has the most life. Any recommendations would be great.
I think it would be the powerskin. It uses the original battery and a1500 mAh battery. So two batteries total.

I did the same thing, phone is large enough without it. I bought a Mugen extended battery and it should be here soon. If it works like the one I had for my 3g slide, it should be fine. I always liked Mugen batteries. Got mine off Ebay

Mugen Power 3200mah Extended Battery

Saw a thread about this battery in the normal Galaxy S2 section, but not here.
I purchased this battery on ebay for about 85 bucks shipped. I haven't run any tests or even cycled the battery yet, but the results are definitely worth the money I paid.
I popped the battery in on Saturday, it was at 60%. I use blue tooth streaming music about an hour throughout the day, data on, face book and email syncing, etc. I got 2 days 20 hours before the phone hit 18% battery. I just fully charged today to 100%, made 3 15 minute phone calls, and some browsing. It took an hour and a half before the battery went down to 99%.
The Mugen Power back plate is actually pretty good too. The grooves give a really good grip. The kick stand is awesome as well, even though it does feel like cheap plastic. The added width to the phone makes it better to hold as well.
Best part, it's an NFC battery so no boot looping.
Only down side so far is there's definitely no case for this thing.
If you don't mind shelling out a few bucks to have your phone last a few days, GET THIS BATTERY! The added weight and size is really not that serious.
Man 85 bucks is a lot of money lol. I dont know if you can fuse 2 batteries like you could with the captivate but i would rather go that route as im sure you could.
there's a couple 3500mah batteries as well, and they are phenomenal! I've gotten 2 days of heavy use and over 8.5 hours of screen time. I agree with OP, worth buying. And I these are cheaper.

Yes I would also like a link.
I don't think Mugen makes a 3500 battery or a cheap battery if that's what your asking for a link for. I believe Slatestud is referring to the cheap Hyperion, GTMax, and other cheap Chinese batteries which seem to be performing well for the money. What Slatestud doesn't realize is that the OP is more or less against buying those batteries.

Yea. Extended batteries work great. Especially for the money. I love mine. Im getting about 2 days medium-heavy use, and 8-9 hours screen time with the GTmax. What about the Hyperion?
I got the GTMax 3500mAh battery for Christmas and while the tabs on the back suck (some broke off, the back needs to be squeezed on to the phone to work) the battery is absolutely amazing. Almost 2 days constant use without charging.
I did send bluemall an email about this and they replied with some horribly broken english response basically telling me to screw off when I asked for a new plastic back because mine was messed up. Here's a link to it but for $12, you cannot go wrong with this.

They all look enormous, the Mugen looks the least obtrusive but still I'm afraid I will hate turning my sleek GS2 into a humpback whale.. I wish I could see these 3200-3500mah batteries w/cases in person, I'd love to double my battery life but the photos of these extended batteries really turn me off
Here's a informative review of the Mugen on YouTube..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLLNFWehfl8&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Ive bought cheap batteries and ive bought the mugen. I wont buy cheap batteries again. You can easily get 4-5 days standby with minimal use, by the time you realise its been a few days since you charged your phone you still have 25% left, and it takes ages for this to go down, so I've never been stuck with a dead phone.
The added weight and bulk to phone is a bonus to me, in standard form the phone is too light and flimsy feeling, to me the extra weight feels better in the hand. Im actually selling my mugen (upgraded to S3), only 6 months of minimal use, still in great condition if anyone is interested.

[Q] Where to get cheap batteries

Hello!
Does anybody know where I can get a cheap battery replacement for my vibrant?
I was thinking of upgrading my phone to a galaxy S2 tmobile version but its too pricey now so:
1) Should its price go down in a couple weeks when new phones are released at CES
2) Where can I get cheap batteries for my vibrant? The current battery is barely holding charge. 7 hours on LIthium-ion, battery calibrated,juice-defender on and its dead.
+ GPS doesn't work and drains the crap out of it!
The one on samsungs site is 40 dollars Kind of a lot to beef up an old phone.
Thanks so much!
~Cheers
Jonathan
Ebay and Amazon have tons, I'm sure you can find some under $10.

I bought a 2450mAh battery off eBay for around 10 bucks. It's supposed to be an extra 38% in total power compared to the stock battery but you can't be sure with these things. I don't know of any name-brand batteries but this one seems to work.
