Anyone know how to remove the audio time announcement when I turn my screen back on with the power button?
Its in settings. Voice input and output. Then in voice output. Then text to speech settings. Then driving mode. Then uncheck unlock screen.

Back when I had a blackberry I loved the ability to adjust volume and skip tracks with the side up/down buttons. Even while the screen is off in sleep mode. All you had to do is hold either the up or down button to skip back or forward. Right now all we can do is adjust volume. Possibly maybe there is someone out there that can modify the player to do this also???? It was VERY convenient not having to wake up the phone and flip thru a couple screens just to select the next button. Im sure everyone out there would have to agree. Devs! Im counting on you to figure this one out!

Use the earphone that came with phone.
Double pressing the mic button will go to next song

I have my regular text tone as normal but after the tone sounds a voice says message from the person that sent it. I don't know what happened, I've looked in the sound settings and I can't find a way to disable it. Any help here, it started doing it out of the blue and I hate it.

You most likely had your phone in driving mode and didn't realize it. If it happens again or you want to reproduce, Hit the home button twice to bring up voice controls, hit cancel, and then check to see if driving mode is on/off.

Hello!
I would like to know if there is a way to add a call button next to the contact name.
I find the swipe to call a bit uncomfortable while driving...
no one knows?!?!
No way unless you miss with the apk

Hey guys how you doing. I've been having an issue recently with my DNA. Basically when I first paired my head set up with my phone I used to hit the button on headset and then the Google Voice Dialer would come up asking me who I want to call and after I say the name or number it would show up on the screen and so on.
But recently when I hit the button on my headset the Google Voice Dialer screen will come up and then quickly minimize every time so now I can't see the number was a person I'm calling come up on the screen I can only hear it. And then when the call goes out the screen for the dialer will come up. I am on stock firmware, no modifications.
Do you guys understand what I'm talking about?

Hello everyone,
I recently bought a set of headphones with a small remote controller and mic. When I long press the remote button and the screen is on, my search agent (Google search, AutoVoice, etc) launches and I can speak whatever I need. On the other hand, when the screen is off the long press is not recognized, which is weird, as the single, double and triple press are recognized by, for instance, my music player.
Any ideas about how I can get my phone to recognize the long press while the screen is off?
Thanks in advance!
By the way, using CM 10.2.
