It s not possible due signature missmatch. However, you can restore a en.EU nandroid backup in a en.FR razr. This will give you a nice update, but keeping kernel.
Thanks

Sliced from my XT910 RAZR using XDA
can or can not
then flas this?
Branding: RETAIL en.EU
Market Segment: EuropeAustraliaEMEA
Version: 651.167.20 651.167.19
Android Version: 2.3.5 2.3.6
SPU: 15 M2
ROM Type: Service
Radio Version: U_03.1C.91P
Bootloader Version: 0A.6C (contained but not being flashed)
Webtop version: WT-2.0.0-139
Download: EternityProject Website
others say it's a 651.167.19 and android vers: 2.3.6
167.20 is the leaked version, 167.19 is the latest official release.
You can flash any european software to your RAZR.
The only RAZRs with the signature mismatch problem are the brazilian ones.

How does one check for a potential signature mismatch error?

Is it the same problem as Korean XT910K and S?
So could a nandroid restore of a EU XT910 work on the XT910S & K even with a diff bootloader?

Not true, Canadian ones also can't have the en.eu ROM flashed due to the signature mismatched.
I bought my Droid Razr in Singapore. I had it rooted but after the OTA update for Gingerbread, I lost root so flashed EMEA ROM -
SV - 651.73.23.XT910.Retail.en.EU
AP flex v. - GAS_EMEA_USASPDRRTGB_P040
GAS_EMEA_USASPDRRTGB_A011
Build # - 6.5.1-73_SPU-11
- and now I'm still waiting for the ICS update but zilch. Could it be because of signature mismatched?
Appreciate your advice.
Thanks!

Recently I got the same problem as described in this topic, but I don't know which firmware to use.
The Original firmware was
Branding: Partner IL / Orange IL
Version: 4.4.80
Android Version: 2.2.2
Build : OLYEM_U4_4.8.0
Bootloader on my phone is locked. Tried AT&T firmware and it failed There is no ROM on Israeli forums
any thoughts ?
Eureka ! Found it =)
Branding: Retail UAE
Version: 4.8.0 Service
Android Version: 2.2.2
Bootloader Version: N/A
Webtop version: 6.61.18
Requires RSD Lite 5.0.0
Requires Moto Android (De)packer 1.3 to edit.
Works perfectly.
I have Droid razr xt910 from Rogers wireless canada, from my previous experience, Rogers wireless never release updates on any devices, so I think I need to switch my firewire to European version.
Does anybody know how to change my phone into en.EU in safe way? I dont want to brick my phone like my friend but I want a better and nice version phone too .
Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, Help
Hi there,
I don't know if your phone is branded, so I cannot attest whether my experience will fully apply to your case. That said, my phone was with an Asian firmware and I flashed an EU one without any problems. Here's how:
- download a stock ROM from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1362956
Code:
Branding: RETAIL en.EU
Market Segment: EuropeAustraliaEMEA
Version: 651.167.20
Android Version: 2.3.5
SPU: 15 M2-3
ROM Type: Service
Radio Version: U_03.1C.91P
Bootloader Version: 0A.6C (contained but not being flashed)
Webtop version: WT-2.0.0-139
Download: EternityProject Website - Droid-Developers
I would recommend this one.
Use RSD Lite to flash it > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1539192
Then use the Motofail exploit to root it, if you want.
Good luck!
So I got my Razr two days ago and rooted it right off the bat, but now I found that the GPS in it does not work and am returning it tomorrow for a replacement. Sadly, i haven't been around this device enough so I don't know how to unroot it...
I have RSD Lite, and I just downloaded the file:
CDMA DROID RAZR
Fastboot
Branding: Verizon Wireless
Market Segment: VRZ USA
Version: 6.11.744
Android Version: 2.3.5
DHD: 11 TA-3
ROM Type: Service?
Radio Version: CDMA_03.1C.76 LTE_06.35.08
Bootloader Version: N/A
Webtop version: N/A
: from the link in the Moto Tools (For Noobs) thread... Is that the correct file to flash? I have a decent amount of experience with RSD from my time with my Photon, but I just want to make sure that is the correct file.

.744 is an old OTA but you can fastboot back to that, then just OTA up to .181 before you send it back.

So that is the correct file then. Cool.

Download supersu from the market.
It has an option that will remove root completely from your phone.
FYI
It can also hide root as well as provide you with a whole lot of other cool root features.
Quite possible the easiest way to remove root that I know of. I tried it and it works.
I need a little help here gents,
Basically I want to update my phone as I am stuck on 2.5.5 and want to be able to download ota updates and eventually ics. Here's the catch, I'm unfortunately on the infamous NonEFIGSRetail system version.
From my understanding I have to flash a different retail system version to allow updates and the like to come through.
My questions are...
1.
Which system version should I flash to?
2.
How would I go about doing this? (before my razr I owned a dhd and they seemed a hell of a lot simpler to muck around with)
3.
Lastly if I were to flash a new system version, how would I create a backup of my NonEFIGSRetail version just in case things went tits up?
Cheers
Jack

Flash this one:

Android Version: 2.3.5
SPU: 11 M1-2

Taken from the Eternity project thread.
Ignore the OTAs to be sure to be on a stock rom, as some of the roms are leaks etc.
I flashed this:
Branding: RETAIL en.EU
Market Segment: EuropeAustraliaEMEA
Version: 651.167.20
Android Version: 2.3.5
SPU: 15 M2
ROM Type: Service
Radio Version: U_03.1C.91P
Bootloader Version: 0A.6C (contained but not being flashed)
Webtop version: WT-2.0.0-139
@jackmanzan please use the search function as the nonefi had been solved here many times before...
I apologies if this has been covered before but from what I had read there wasn't a definitive answer.
Cheers for the help guys those two system versions look good.
Now can anybody answer question 2/3?
Cheers
Jack

3. If you're rooted, you can make an back up of your current Rom with CWM. But there's no need for.
Just charge your Battery till 100% before you flash with RSD.
Edit to 1: Here you got an actually Fastboot (2.3.6 / Baseband 91)
http://sbf.droid-developers.org/umt...USASPDRRTGB_HWp2b_Service1FF_fastboot.xml.zip
After you flashed this, you'll get an 15mb Update via MotoCast Software. So you'll be sure, that things're working right now

Hello,
I want to upgrade my xt910 from 2.3.6 to ICS, I found videos on youtube, threads here and on other websites too, but I know this is kinda sensitive thing to do so I need your help confirming the steps for me.
first of all this is my device information:
System Version: 65.1.40.XT910.MERetail.en.06
Model Number: XT910
Android Version: 2.3.6
Baseband Version: U_03.1C.91P
Webtop Version: WT-2.0.0-139
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7-g8abf869 / [email protected] #1
AP Flex Version: GAS_ASIA_USASPDRRTUAE_P011 / GAS_ASIA_USASPDRRTUAE_A012
Build Number: 6.5.1-167-SPD-IRD-40
Build Date: Mon Feb 6 21:28:36 IST 2012
I already rooted the device successfully when I bought it.
So here is the steps as I read and saw:
1- Change the system version to 651.73.30.Retail.en.EU ... same as in this video (How to Unbrick/upgrade/downgrade Motorola Razr XT910 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_1-HxdzEo0&feature=plcp )
2- Update motorola razr xt910 to ics(android 4.0.3) on this link ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuRSKeMFPGc )
3- Then update to ICS 4.0.4 on this link ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TCgj5gbmf0 ) using this ROM [ROM, GSM XT910][EuropeAustraliaEMEA] Final EU ICS Fastboot Official fastboot package for Motorola RAZR
Am I doing the right steps?
Which ICS ROM is the best?
I would like to ask, as I read if I update to 4.0.4 there is no way I can go back to GingerBread, but what if I updated to 4.0.3, may I go back to Gingerbread if I didn't like it?
What are the negative points about ICS on droid razr? what stuff not working or something? Should I wait the official ROM?
Is there any custom GingerBread ROM(s)?
Thank you so much for you help.
Pls help.. even i am having the same ME version of RAZR and was thinking of upgraditng it.
please help.
