Go to samfirmware.com or sammobile.com to download firmware.

I am not completely sure about that, but once I tried and I got a bunch of creepy errors.
I thought I had bricked my phone but I fixed it installing a firmware that was not one-package. I don't know if it had something to do, and as I said, that's only my experience.

Ics BAck to gbgb

I recently upgraded to Ics via kies on the there network.
Even though I am impressed I would like to go back to GB.
Is this possible to do using kies
Thanks
Kieron

Hmm don't think so...
Never miss mind something about downgrade via Kies...
So only way is using Odin and flash a gb-stock-firmware...
Or u flash a kernel from here, wipe all, then flash a Rom...
CHEERS ;-)

No you cant downgrade by Kies. Use a custom rom or manually downgrade.
How do i manually downgrade ? .

No way via kies, learn Odin as sahibunlimited said and flash it, it won't take more than half hour to learn Odin and flash

Hey you are from x10 section
Remember me?
I didn't read your name when i was on mobile
Yeah i remember you mate. You was on the face book page alot aswell if i am not wrong . was on x10 section for quite a while now loving my s2 but everything seemed straight forward on the x10 where as here there seems to be so many different variables to have to check before flashing anything .

I m on ICS custom FW now.. If i want to flash MIUI GB i hav simply flash it using CWM.. BUT the CWM s ICS type.. does it hav any side effects? Bcoz only 10 out 100 would go back to GB after tasting ICS

[Q] No service trouble

Ok I post one thread on that subject, with no succes. So my phone won't receive or share any SMS/call. I tried all the cyanogenmod version, and it's always the same thing.
I have back up my old firmware. When i restore my old firmware the phone wont boot, so I need to take the boot of a cyanogen version. But the same things hapenned.

Thanks for the quick replie, but what I'm supposed to do after? Thanks
Is it 0000000....? If so, you need to go completely stock and lie to service centre
Also stock rom doesnt boot from a backup unless you use cf root kernel. Backup your apps with titanium backup and reflash a stock rom on odin. Find gt-s5830 firmware on sam mobile. Then flash on cf-root. You can now restore and back up that version of stock firmware (delete the old one)

You may have to service it. Make sure nothing is "un-stock" and un root it

Yes I want for sure, but the firmware of my galaxy model is not on samfirmware or what ever. Do I choose the general model ( S5380 )?

Try thanking the bloke above for giving you a steer on what you might need to do, go away, do a little research on Kies lite and then come back later if you need more help. If not, root and install any ROM that your heart desires.
