Clicking noise when switching to video / slow AF - Nokia Lumia 800

Hello Guys,
I've noticed two things about my Lumia 800's camera: The autofocus when using the videomode is very slow. This is not only in the camera but in apps accesing video as well. For instance Skypes takes ages to Focus when making a video call. Another Thing that concerns me is a "clicking" noise that appears when switching from video to photo mode in the camera app. Should I send my Lumia in? Or is this noise present in all Lumias?
Regards
Chris

Click is normal, it's the auto-focus mech.

Camera Recording

Hi,
I've recently noticed that sometimes when recording movies, the sound in the videos is distorted and are not sync well. This happens especially when switching from good lighting condition to lower light. Is it a process running in the background that is making the recording laggy?
Thanks.
Yes i notice that to after recorded a video i watch what i record and yes the sound is distorted but only sometimes, don't know why, what firmware do you have?
Any news??
Sent from my HTC Bliss using XDA App

video camera recording problems

Any one experiencing any studdering problems when using the video recorder? Like it misses a word and jumps the video and sound forward a split second?

Question about video recording?

So I have the G5, and just wondered, has anyone found a way to get the V10's manual video settings on the G5? The app Cinema FV-5 works great. It lets mecontrol aperture and white balance manual while shooting video, but controlling focus and changing ISO manually doesn't really...work. It sometimes does, sometimes doesn't, but mostly doesn't. So my question is, since some manual functions do seem to work for video recording, has anyone found a way to get full manual control over video recording yet?
Maybe later when the development starts kicking you will see V10 camera port. I miss 60FPS video.. I'm sure it is capable..even my old LG G2 could record 120fps, 1080p 60fps, 4K 30fps.

Open camera is working fine. And one of the few apps that can use the wide angle camera!
WHen I want perfect audio I connect my zoom h2n as external USB mic. Just buy a USB-C OTG adapter to USB 3.0 (normal size) and put it into your phone. Now I can make nice videos with perfect sound! With manual audio gain!

I use the 1080p 60fps mod and it works just fine.
Regarding manual mode video there is a lg v10 port but it crashes the camera app every time.

Video record problem after install Video 4K

I am using official 6.0.1 Stock Android (32.2.A.0.305) on my E5823.
After some days of use I installed Video 4K from menu that appears during usage of Camera. Now I have a mode called Video 4K available from Camera app , but it isn't listed on installed apps.
The fact is that now I can use video recording only in low resolutions (VGA and MMS) because if I use a resolution higher than VGA , video recording became slow and it seems that images are taken with a shot every 1 second or more ! What happened ? I am using wrong settings, for example bad setup of HDR, focus or similars? How can I uninstall Video 4K or restore original settings of my video camera to make it working again ?

How's 3rd party apps (instagram, snapchat, video calling, broadcasting) selfie camera quality in low light?

how's the selfie camera viewfinder in low light videos in 3rd party apps ? is it still laggy like 15 fps ? even in street light scenes it happens! live broadcasting looks like nokia GIF quality in! maybe it's a good idea to make a comparison because this year you know samsung has said that everything is solved now especially in instagram
an example in this video HERE 2:35 from older galaxy phones
can you also send testing videos ?
