Running CleanROM ICSE 3.7 and I want to update to the new RUU. Can anyone point me in the right direction or walk me through it?
Also, is there a way to check witch one I'm currently on? I'm pretty familiar with ROMS and flashing. Never done anything with RUU before.

Clean 3.7 is on the newest RUU leak. And you look and see what your Build Number is under About Phone>Software Information>More
The most recent RUU is a GB. If you want ICS go with Clean 3.7
Look in the sticky in the development section please.

Been away from the Fascinate for a while
I am running stock, just rooted, 2.6.32.9 / EB01
I see all kinds of numbers in the development forums eb01,ec10, eh,.......
So someone please educate me on where i'm supposed to be as far as newest system
Thanks!
The latest stock release for our device is 2.3.5 eh03 gingerbread. The number you listed in your op is the kernel version. Eb01 is 2.2.1 froyo...
Jt1134 has ICS 4.0 released for our devices, but its not stock. Not sure what your looking for exactly, but i have a guide in the general section that has everything there you need to upgrade. Fyi if you want stock eh03, stay away from the ota update. Follow section 4 of my guide...hope this helps.
i'm running ics rom right now.
because i'm running ics, as far as i know, the main version has been updated.
so, in order to go back to stock,
i need to change the main version and then use the ruu.exe (1.02.605.6),
but i recently downloaded the latest ruu.exe (2.01.605.11).
so the question would be, if i were to use the latest ruu.exe (2.01.605.11),
do i still need to change the main version or not?
Yes you will have to change it. The latest Thu is crime an ota and you will get main ver error since you are on a ics leak. There is a thread on how to do this but you will have to do it every time from now on. At least from what I have read. Somebody correct me if I am wrong
Hello everyone. As the title states, I'm looking to update a bit and I'm not really sure how. I'm not S-off yet, just on the old ICS leak with CleanRom 4.3. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
I wound guess run the new leak ruu then there is a new firmware patch in the firmware and radio thread in the dev section. That should do it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

Stick to what you got for now. Only changes were an updated kernel & hboot, which from my very short testing didn't play out too too well with the current roms. So just waiting for a rebase or OTA+rebase.
The main reason I was wondering is because I'm having battery life/heat issues with the old leak and was hoping this would improve it a bit.
Nils posted a kernel zip on his business ics thread. The kernel is more or less what was updated ib the latest leak. The radio in the last leak is the same as the latest. This should help you out with your heat issues.
Hey guys, been awhile but i want to come back to Android for awhile. I have had the Evo 4G since release but went to an iPhone for work. If i could have a super quick refresher course I would appreciate it. I'll post below where I'm currently at if I could just get a point in the next step. I know all my stuff is way out dated.
Stock w/goodies 2.01 (not even sure if it's still supported)
Kernel 3.0.8 (not even sure if it's custom or stock to be honest)
baseband 1.12.11.0809
build 2.13.651.1
PRI 2.45_003
PRL 25006
S-Off HBOOT 1.12.222 btw
Yes I am fully aware of the search option but it's so cluttered unless you asked the right questions lol. If I could get a point in the right direction i don't mid doing the leg work. thanks and good to finally be back on Android!!

First of all you have missed a couple firmware updates, but since you are s-off head to captains thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1704612) and do one firmware update at a time, note that the latest update 3.16 comes without the touch panel driver update this because AOSP Roms and some old TWRP versions don't work with this new touch panel update you need to be on the 3.15 touch panel driver, if you are going to use stock with goodies I suggest you do this update, your touch panel willl be more responsive, by the way you should update TWRP as well the new version is 2.5. Navigation doesn't work on some jelly bean roms on some phones, it just crashes, no fix as of today, use telenav, waze or scout
Stock with goodies is still supported but now by SinisterTensai : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2262907

1. It is in the link I sent you in your other thread asking questions.
2. I believe you.
3. Stock RUU is the one that came from the factory. If you are running Bulletproof ROM then you are NOT stock. There is a repository of stock RUU's, it is here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1617644
However if your phone is Asian/Unbranded as you say, the stock RUU is in the link I provided you in the other thread--the link I keep referring you that has the answers to your questions.
If you are asking academically, the way to tell if you have stock now or not (but remember, we already answered this--you do NOT) is to look in your System Settings->About Phone->Software or somesuch, and you can then find the software number or build number or kernel version and google these to see if they are stock or not.
4. Use the Search tool to learn that you CANNOT S-Off via Windows, and you MUST S-Off via Ubuntu 12.04 (and newer). You can visit the http://unlimited.io/ website here to learn exactly how to S-Off and that you CANNOT do it with Windows.
