miniCM7 2.1.9

I would say it personal choice - some like different things from different ROM's. I'm addicted to changing them and seeing what each ROM has to offer.

I believe there is nothing better than MiniCM7 with nAa kernel. Seriously, for a looooooot of reasons (I have searched this question loooong time ago, MiniCM FTW!!!).

nAa Kernel v11 + PrimeHD V2 (based in miniCM7 2.1.9) for best perfomance ever! I tested ALL's rom's and kernel's in the section of x10mp and the best performance is this combination!

[Q] Working kernel and ROM combination for Mini Pro

Guys, is there a working combination of custom kernel and custom ROM? What would you suggest to use?
Lately, I have tried Zombie Panic which should work with any Froyo or Ginderbread. I installed it over Paul's MINICM7 V21 with no luck (Got stucked on the kernel logo screen) and had to revert back to stock kernel.
Please advise.
with minicm7 pro. u have to delete some modules from it! then it will work smoothly with slade's kernel!
It is recommended by paul-xxx, and in my experience best to use stock 2.1.1.A.0.6 kernel with MiniCM7 Pro.
Sent from my phone
OK. I figured it out by using Zombie Panic and MiniCM7 by Slade.
Thank you!
Sheesh, its easy. Use ZP Kernel + GinTonic. Both are by slade.
Use nAa-08 kernal and MiniCM7-2.1.7 Rom... the best combination.. Native wifi and usb tethering, real dual touch and lots more.....

CM7mini pro+nAa kernel
fastest. no problems at all.
for me...
[ROM]CyanoCream Sandwich (v2.0) + [kernel] Fa kernel 0.4 beta it so good!
[ROM] MiniCM7-2.1.7 + [KERNEL] nAa-08 are the best combination!
good luck

Unlock bootloader benefit, wifi tether by nAa kernel and CWMv5<< FTW!
ZPK << stable a lot..
Simple kernel << sad case wifi not working
Fa kernel v0.4 << nice, a lot feature (smartass,CWM5)
nAa kernel << for now is the best, wifi tether is fully native now due to added netfilter, sad: only works with minicm7 v2.1.7 ROM only or other ROM contain build in wifi source(only minicm7 v2.1.7). If use other custom ROM except minicm7 v2.1.7, all other ROM will get wifi error.
for my personal i choose nAa bcoz netfilter, have netfilter u will get more application support.
sry for my bad english >.<
Yeah, I had to do it, the comments was so good tha I decide to test it...
And I can see is so much better..!

[Q] You Choose The Best ROM

Which of the following ROM List most stable (I need stable than the Stock 2.1 ROM if it can) and fast :
- [ROM+KERNEL]X10MiniProTeam 0.5 + nAa Kernel
- [ROM] MiniCM7Pro - V21 FINAL + Stock Kernel / nAa Kernel
- [ROM] MiniCM7-2.1.9 Gingerbread 2.3.7/CM7.2 + nAa Kernel
I will be based on that for development this ROM Offical 2.3.7 from HERE
MiniCM7.
Like every other GB ROM, it does have memory issues. ICS gives plenty of memory, as much as stock, but its still in beta stage. MiniCM7 is the best we've got.
Yup, there's a lot of new ROM out there, but still got some bugs on it and likely something missing and we need to flash other zip file to fix it up. Most of the failure is about wifi connection, keybord light, force closed, network problem. This week I already used 3 rom. In the morning, I'm on prime HDv2 but right now, I'm using xmpteam rom v0.5.
Sent from my U20i using XDA
Hmmm if u choose mini cm pro v21. U better use stock kernel rather than nAa kernel.. A lot of user's out there had theire touch screen not responding.
Sent from my U20i using XDA
I suggest you to use as base MiniCM7 or PrimeHD.
I have been using MiniCM7 for a while now... I must say I have no complaints about it...
MiniCM7 by nAa.
MiniCM7Pro - V21 FINAL by paul-xxx , running on stock kernel. It's the best we've got until: V03 of paul-xxx's Ice Cream Sandwich rom with fully functioning in-built WiFi. I don't want to have to flash extra zip/s to get the WiFi working - I'll unlock my bootloader, change to a custom kernel and use paul-xxx's ICS rom as soon as the WiFi just works. Plain and simple. I can't wait until V03!
[ROM] ArcMini X Remake WiFi Fixed [Links Updated] [24/2/2012]
this rom i think is very good.
just an idea
why dont you focus on stable GB rom for stock kernel?take minicm7pro as a base..and perfect it more (yep this rom is perfect, but do it more)..so that, new user come here, see you rom, download, n flash..(ofcourse they must have recovery first )..this my reasons
1. we already had a lot of gb rom using custom kernel, n new active one is x10mpteam, they doing great, so why do you want to make another?
2. we only had a couple rom using stock..and for x10mini, i dont see latest gb rom for stock, myb im wrong but after you done, you can port for them too..
MiniCM7 from nAa, with this I have 65-70mb free ram
Kernel may have something to do with it though as im on nAa-11..
Sent from my U20i using xda premium
i suggest x10 MP teams ROm with its kernel I have 92 mb free in every minute i can say and its very stable and improved 3d graphics just relax when you have a team like X10 MP team
I remember saying that the x10 mini is way ahead of the big x10 xperia.
And someone said that it's not true.... it is... and we still are.
Looks at the amount of roms with fixed EGL adreno 200 lib's for x10 mini.
Looks at the amount of roms with fixed EGL adreno 200 lib's for x10 xperia.
"there's only one and it's unstable...."
I Was using MiniCM7Pro - from v7 to FINAL v21, had a locked bootloader...then when MiniCM7 2.1.7 build showed up for our mini pros, I need to unlock Bootloader, and i did it with a lump in my throat, but all went great.. And it paid off. Thanks to Paul-xxx and nobodyAtAll for there invested time and great developing skills they have. Thanks guys!
Been running [ROM] GinTonic.SE | v2.5.1
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1207740
ever since released, with standard kernel.
No problems for me, everything is working, but maybe the grass is greener on the newer ROMS ?

i was using that rom too, but since nAa ported his rom and kernel I immediately switched. gintonic is outdated and laggy compared to minicm7 2.1.9. but you must unlock bootloader and flash nAa kernel to get it working. back in the day it was longer process, and we had to do it manually, but today there are simple tools to do that easy and fast (unlocking bootloader).

It is a bit of a question of personal taste, but for me it still is MiniCM7-2.2.0 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1415026) together with nAa Kernel. Everything works, it is fast and it is stable.

[Q] Which rom should i use?

I have u20i and i wanted to know which rom will give me longest battery backup... i dont use wifi and gps at all.... use data whole day....and with frequent calls.... please help with the same.....i am really confused....
If you want tweaked stock rom then try this.. very good rom with very good battery life!!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1206625
U can try out Minicm7Pro by paul-xxx or Xperian Blaze
both have very good battery life!!

about 2 days on battery, arc mini its quite good, just can't wait for miui final version
MiniCM i think is the best.
MiniCM7
I've tried many ROMs and for me the least buggy was nAa's MiniCM7. Other ROMs may say that they are faster but they have one or the other bug. nAa's MiniCM7 is the most stable Gingerbread ROM according to me.

[Q] Jumping from MiniCM9 to MiniCM10

I have MiniCM9 already installed in my Xperia X10 mini pro,
But due to "slow performance" I decided to move to MiniCM10 or may be MiniCM7.
So, what is the procedure to do this ?
Do I need back to stock ROM first, or is not necessary?
Regards.
Thanks in advance !

Get the kernel and rom for what you want to do and just follow the instructions in their respective posts. I would recommend MiniCM7 if you want stability and performance, Minicm10 still has a lot of bugs to work out.
Minicm10 isn't better than minicm9 in terms of performance, stick with minicm7 or minicm6
Sent from my GT-I9100 running CM10
dont move to that CM10 still in beta he not so good
Look at this and this
My MiniCM9 is working fine after doing some of those tips
I moved to MiniCM10 about a month ago and with some modifications (other launcher,
overclocking and so on) I have a nice performance.
Clearly it never be as good as on new phones
due to hardware limitations, but I'm happy with it
You should definitely try MiniCm7 and MiniCM10
They both have their pro's and con's, but the bugs in JellyBean
are not really bothering

try the semc debrand 3 beta 4 the best since now.
MiniCM10 is faster and better now.. I love it so much.. Far way better than MiniCM9
Having used last MiniCM10 for about a week, I have to admit that it is really good. Way better than MiniCM9.
But, it is also true that this little x10 beast works far better with MiniCM7 than any other rom.
Unless there is a special reason, stick on MiniCM7. Best day-to-day experience...
