I updated my ZTE Blade to CM Nightly build yesterday. Before, I partitioned my memory card (sd-ext) to store all apps in it. Before I updated the ROM, my internal memory was 1 GB (i assumed that the partition acts as internal)
Now after updating the ROM, I again try to partition and use S2E to make the partition as internal memory. But my internal memory still shows 150MB.
How could I make my internal memory 1GB?

hi everyone. i would like to you if i can change the internal memory of the I5500 samsung.
i have only 187 mega, i need more space. i don't know why but android don't consider my sd card as the internal memory.
if i move my apps to the sd card i still need more space.
do you know some trick to change the size of the memory ?
thank you very much
Uninstall some pre-installed apps
Sent from my R800i using XDA App
cause your internal memory it's not the same as the SD card for android.
if you want more space, deleting stock apps that you won't use can give you back some Mb... more space only 2.2+ with moving apps to SD
or u can use app2sd or s2e, that use a partition of the sd card like internal memory.
For example I have 4gb sd card, that has 1gb ext4 (it is used for internal memory) and 3gb fat (that it's used for files and data)
But for do this u can have a cooked rom like cyano or mad-rom

How can i do that???
CM9 / ICS
I'm looking to find out how in the heck to install apps into the phone's internal SD partition.
To free up internal memory, I know you can format a microSD card into an EXT and FAT partition. Then you link apps using link2SD, freeing up more internal memory and storing most data on the microSD card, in the EXT partition.
I'd like to do exactly this, but with the internal SD partition acting as the microSD card. That is, format the internal partition into FAT and EXT, then use link2SD to link to the new EXT partition on the internal SD card.
Minitool Partition Wizard just will not do it. How is this possible? Is this even possible??
I do have a china GT-i9300 phone with ICS 4.0.4.
It has 512MB internal storage, 2GB SD internally, and I have a 32 GB external sdcard, by default mounted as sdcard2.
Now I did root it, installed a cwm recovery and flashed a rom labeled 4.1.9. (Still ICS 4.0.4)
Installing this rom does some changes to the storage space that I find useful.
It remaps the internal 2GB sdcard into phone storage, and my 32GB external card is mounted as sdcard. And my internal 512MB storage is now monted as sdcard2.
This is all good, but can anyone tell me ho this is done?
Can I do the same on any other android phone?
So, I have a samsung galaxy young s6312, stock android 4.1.2 jellybean, rooted. Since the internal memory is very low, I use link2sd to link app files to my external sd card. Now I have created an ext2 partition of 1.5 gb to use with link2sd. but now the partition is full, and my internal memory is also full, because I have installed about 3gb of apps in my phone, half are in the second partition, and half are on my internal memory. so now I want to know if there is a way I can increase the size of my second partition. if I had enough memory, I would have moved the apps to my internal memory temporarily, but I don't have enough internal memory to move the linked apps to my internal memory. so is there any way to increase size of second partition without formatting it?? NOTE: I don't have any problem in formatting the first partition if necessary, but I can't format the second partition. NOTE: the sd card I use is of 8 gb...
Thanks...........
I have the same issue...
... so I'm disappointed to see that no one has replied.
I have a rooted LD-D520 with Android 4.1.2. Since I quickly ran out of memory I added an 8GB SD card and partitioned it with a 1.5GB ext2. I used Link2SD to them move over most all my apps. I don't have that many, but some of them have gotten so big (FB, Skype, etc.) that I now have only 5% free space on the ext2. I don't have much space left on the internal memory either, so I thought I'd try to make the ext2 partition bigger. (There's lot of free space on the SD card since I'm not using much of the other partition.) I tried using the MiniTool Partition Wizard, but even after reducing the size of the non-ext2 partition to create some unallocated space I was still unable to resize the ext2 partition.
Any suggestions? Is there an easy way to do this?
Just got a Jiake V8 which is 16gb but I noticed the internal memory is formatted to 1gb and the rest shows up as an SD card? Is there anyway to re-partition the phone to use the entire space?
or a reliable apps2sd maybe? I downloaded a partition viewer and it shows that there is 1gb allocated to data few random sizes for the rest system, etc. and the rest (like 10gb) as an sdcard. If there was just a way to combine the sd space (which is not actually an SD and is formatted in fat not ext4) and data to make 1 big application partition. That would be great. Any ideas?
