Jep, I agree with ingbrzy. Try the latest firmware 2.3.4. It´s working fine to me. I had some problems with 2.3.3 but now they gone, if I flashed to 2.3.4!
HAPPY FLASHING!
Ok thanks that sounds very nice.
I only hope there is swedish in that version.
Then I will try it.
Problem
if you are from brazil you have an american firmware, beware that you might lose you 3g, im from chile and that is what happened to me, i found my firmware it is s5830lubkb1 if you want it, pm me
good luck flashing!
upload this ROM to us?
thank you.
If using an european firmware on an american phone will affect your 3g. Can I get 3g if I put american firmware on a european phone?

Yes it does have swedish, just like your current version the only thing that differs is that the CSC is set to SER(Russia) so you wont be able to update with kies the next time around

I had a different problem with updating through KIES, but all the same, Odin flashing is the best way to go.
Have you all got the latest version of Kies? I believe there was a sizeable update recently. I can't really advise more than that as I get updates from here and use Odin.

Same problem, that I am facing. Latest kies as well. Seems like kies is the worst software ever designed in the history of mankind.
Any simpler way to update the phone. Does ODIN require root?

I have flashed the .67 .....The problem is that roaming data is always active, also if you switch off roaming....before with the right firmware (.62) I was able to disable the roaming data........
roaming is a problem that they have in many even with the .62
I use Vodafone and I have this problem with both the firmware
have to wait for someone to publish a list of firmware by region

I'm not sure but i thought that the yellow tint is a hardware issue and has nothing to do with software whatsoever.
PS: i'm from Belgium too, installed the CH version and no problems here.

I don't think someone will ever notice that you didn't install the official over the air update you were supposed to get.
And also, it's not like you unlocked the phone and installed a custom rom. It's still an official Sony rom.
I don't see any obvious reason why a repair center would check your firmware version. After all it's a known issue and the solution to the problem is there.
And no, i don't have a backup image or so of my stock firmware.
There was a post here on xda with all GB tft files and there was a Belgium one.
Just search for that post, I can't seem to find it anymore tho

I don't think the shop where i bought it (Phonehouse) will bother it but maybe when it comes to Sony they will see it and won't replace it?

I returned my phone last week (also in Belgium) and to be sure I re-flashed my phone to stock.
I recommend doing it to.

I'm quite sure they won't bother
I think of it like this, your phone arrives at the repair center. The person who has to repair it reads what is wrong with it. He then says: "Ah, i see, the yellow tint issue. Time to get to work, but not without checking the software version first".
It's a very unlikely scenario if you ask me. He's just going to fix the screen, check if it still works completely and maybe do some additional tests in the service menu or so.
But you could indeed just do what Hitmax117 mentioned, just to be sure.

Don't have a nandroid? Sometimes a reflash of the firmware helps to get back the baseband. No baseband is also not that of a problem in general.

Work it out from your original firmware and vendor by reading the list of firmware on sammobile.com.
Alternative search for the how to roll back to original firmware using Kies post .

Using lies post? I'm sorry but can you clarify what is that? Thanks, I know about the lies software but what am I supposed tondo with it
And BTW the disappearance of my baseband number corresponds with me losing any sort of reception on mobile network, and the trick where u type in *2767*4387264636# isn't working. I thought I may be able to use that to find out the default product code and hence the baseband. Checkfus didn't help as well
