Hi guys,
Anyone want to share the launcher they use on their Galaxy S2 with LCS to get a pure LCS feel?
I currently use the ICS launcher, but have yet to change the font to Roboto.
Try Nova- or Apex Launcher.

Nova launcher defo. Trebuchet is pretty good from cm9.
Nova seems close to stock ics hides all sammys 'improvements' also works nice with modified dpi settings
Try it see what u think.

I find Apex to be better than Nova, it's free and has a lot of features.

is there anyway to make the widgets tab work with APEX on our GS2?
If you'd only read their FAQ.
Q: How can I install Apex Launcher as a system app?
A: First of all, you need to have root access on your device. If you know how to use adb, please follow the following instructions:
adb remount
adb push ApexLauncher.apk /system/app
Or you may also move the APK file to the /system/app directory manually. Make sure you set the file permission properly. Please reboot your device if the in-drawer widgets feature does not work. To uninstall, please remove ApexLauncher.apk from /system/app manually.

Hello Guys,
I am thinking about building a basic custom rom for personal use, i know that if i decompile a rom i will be able to go to system/app and find all of the roms apks there.
The default launcher for the rom is Launcher2.apk but i want ADW Launcher(free) do i simply delete launcher2 and add ADW so that it will load as the default launcher when i install the rom or is there a certain step that i am missing ?
Cheers

I've only searched but i found it difficult to understand and i followed a guide for only the keyboard, i tried and Accuweather widget works.
I've searched a lot and i think this isn't a repost.
Hope you'll find helpful.

i've only tried accuweather widget, but i think it will work if it's a standalone app, i think only keyboard has a different installation, if you have an .apk i will give a try!
I can provide more tw apps that work on cm7

I'm using Miracle V4 ROM and would like an iPhone look so I'm using iLauncher, and I've few questions that I need help on,
1. It came with LauncherPro, should I uninstall it as I'll be using iLauncher?
2. Best website to download iPhone icons?
3. Which keyboard to use that looks like the iPhone keyboard?
1.You need to delete the app with rootexplorer or solid explorer in system/app to uninstall a sytem app wich this is because it cam with the rom.
2.Search google I don't use ilauncher
3.There is a iphone keyboard on the market
1- depends on u. if u want u can uninstall it. no harms done. but ONLY unistall it after u install your preferable launcher.
2- in layman term, u cant. but for advance answer is yes, by getting your hands dirty and decompiling apk and replacing icon in it. and dont ask me howto do it. easier just use any launcher that include app icon theme eg qqlauncher, go launcher, 360 launcher etc.
3- search in market. many thirdparty keyboard got iphone theme.

Do I decompiling the .APK icon before installing the app or after and I choose the option Delete in Root Explorer to uninstall LauncherPro?
Just realized that iLauncher has the function to change apps icon
P.S - Do I place iLauncher .APk in System apps or install it in CWM?
u can copy it via root explorer to system/app but set permisions rr-w and reboot
If so, the result is?
It wouldn't work on the SGS2

Hey armedking if you want the touchwiz ux icons on tw 4 launcher follow these instructions:
First you go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1061883 and donwload the tw4 manager and install it.
Then you go to Check for updates & uninstall and to last stable version.
A popup will appear amd ask how to install it ift you are rooted choose system/app (This will let you uninstall apps from drawer).
It will install a new twlauncher with much more options and themes.
then you make a zip with the icons wich are named as PACKAGE name of the applications you want to skin.
Then you copy it to the INTERNAL SD card and hit menu in launcher
go to themes and them Install theme.
As next step you go to choose theme and choose your zip
At last you go back to launcher menu and hit restart and save.
I hope i can help you If I did tit the thanks button
Sorry for my english
