[Q] CM7 Haptic Feedback - Vibrant Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is it possible to enable haptic feedback for screen interaction, but not the soft keys (menu, home, back, search)?
I want to have haptic feedback when I open apps or use the notification power widget, but not on any of the soft keys.

[Q] pull down menu

has anyone worked out how to edit the pulldown menu on the Sg2?
I would love to know how to remove the Sound Vibration and Auto Rotation buttons from it as i never use them. Would also prefer to have Airplane mode on there instead.
You can have Airplane mode if you press Power button for a second.
Besides I don't think there is a mod out yet which will allow you to modify the Notification menu items, if you want it badly then only option is to go for a Custom ROM.

[Q] Expanded Desktop functionality mapped to volume buttons

Hi,
Is it possible for me to toggle the Expanded Desktop feature when both volume buttons were pressed?
Is there a button remapping app that supports when both volume buttons were pressed?
Thank you
PS:
Pressing both volume buttons is the shortcut for mute.
Expanded Desktop hides the notification bar & the navigation bar

toggle flashlight and silent mode with lockscreen slider

One unfortunate limitation of the CM11 lockscreen is that you can't toggle silent mode or flashlight using slider shortcuts. (Yes, you can use the notification drawer or quick settings menu, but those are more cumbersome.)
I've been experimenting with Tasker App Factory, and I've just created two very simple apps: one to toggle the flashlight (torch) and one to toggle silent mode. You can set these apps as slider shortcuts on the lockscreen. I'm not a developer, so don't expect much, but I decided to share these in case they're useful to someone.
great, i had such a habit from old samsungs where holding volume key would turn flash on by default. thanks!
i use this menu: lock screen -> action buttons. there is an option to turn on toggle sound and torch, but it is not visualized.
Using an app called Torchie, just press both 'volume buttons' together to turn on/off torch anytime. It runs as a background service and just works anytime, even when screen off (if enabled from Torchie Settings). It kinda make your phone feel like a conventional battery operated torch. No root required.

[MOD][Heptic_Feedback][All Devices][5.0+]

Its an app to add vibration to keyboards .....Not my app
What you can do with its help:
-Add and manage vibrations on hardware buttons of your device
-Select the buttons to vibrate on
-Control the force of vibration
-Add sound feedback
-Lightweight, simple and energy efficient
The app uses acessibility service to catch key events. Your private information still remains safe, the app does not store it or send it somewhere!

AOD/Tasker/Secure Settings Plugin

Hey all. Can anyone confirm that control over the AOD has been removed from the Secure Settings plugin for Tasker? I can't seem to find it anywhere, and I'd like to use Bx Actions to assign a long press of the Bixby button to toggle on/off AOD when the screen is off.
Thanks in advance!
