Hey there. This is my first post on the forums.
I have the Samsung galaxy tab 10.1 and I have this sweet live wallpaper. I use it on the tablet. But my lockscreen does not change. Haven't found a way to do it.
Now I use go launcher on my tablet. I used to use adw launcher but I'm not sure if either of those launchers have an option to help me with my problem.

Stock lockscreen don't handle livewallpaper's, you have to use another lockscreen app! I use widgetlocker but i think the go locker (free) can handle livewallpaper and it integrates with go launcher.
Haha your right. Widgetlocker is the solution any particular way to hide the app so that when i use the Samsung task manager to kill off other apps it doesnt close widget locker?

Hey there,
I really like the app screen of touch wiz because it is greatly customizable. However I would like to use Launcher Pro for other reasons. So I was wondering if I can launch the touch wiz app screen in launcher pro. I was trying add it by Launcher Pro activities, but I couldn't find the app screen there.
Anyone any ideas? I would be very thankful (Donation ;-))
Thanks

I think if you hit the menu key in the homescreen and go to add then to shortcuts you can add touchwiz launcher.. Give it a try

I would be greatly interested in this as well. Love the homescreen customization of launcher pro but the launcher of touchwiz is too great to pass up.
twlauncher is not available as a shortcut through launcher pro it seems, and besides it will just take me to the touchwiz homescreen I'm assuming.

Tried that before. Brings me to the launcher. However I just want the apps screen to be used within launcher pro.

So I guess there is no way to make that happen huh? Too bad that would have been just perfect.
Hey all,
When I run ADW Launcher EX, I try to add the "Favorite Contacts" widget to my homescreen. But it bugs out and the space remains blank. You can interact with it by pressing and holding down and you get the same drop down menu for altering it as any other ADW widget but that's it. And of course the invisible widget takes up space.
Any thoughts on how we might fix it? I'm not a fan of Blur generally but I do think it's a pretty cool widget and wouldn't mind having it with a more fluid launcher like ADW.
Thanks in advance
Same thing on launcher pro. Would also like to use it.

I had been told that widget only works in the stock launcher when I briefly tried another launcher and couldn't get it to work either. I don't know if that's true or not.
Thats true the blur widgets dont play nice with other launchers. A alternative is Android Pro Widgets in the market.

Does anyone happen to have the stock calendar widget? For some reason I lost it along the way of changing roms and using apex launcher.

Do you see the stock application installed in your app drawer? If so, the problem may be that you are not seeing the widget because you are not in the stock touchwiz launcher as that is the only launcher where you can use the stock widgets in. Hope that helps.
Ah, you're probably right... Is there a way to make them work with apex?

I have never seen or heard of anyone doing that with any launcher specific widgets (i.e. go launcher, launcher pro) so I highly doubt it but will continue to look around and post again if i find anything.
The stock aosp calendar is in the Play store and the widget works great. I have it on my Note with Touchwiz

I'd like to change GOSms icon with the stock SMS app icon to put it on dock and replace the stock SMS app, how can I change an app icon with touchwitz? I'd change it because GOSms icon is smaller than other icons in the dock and it's very ugly
Desktop visualizer :good:
Thanks my friend! Very useful!
I know its not a direct answer to your question but you could try another launcher. Apex Launcher allows full control over icons and titles for every item on your home screens.
Forgive me for crashing the thread, but I also need some help changing icons. I want to change the dock icons (on stock Rom) and I am using apex launcher pro. On my HTC Sensation and apex launcher, all I need to do is long press the icon and I then have the option to change it, but when I long press on sgs, the only option I get is to remove app. I am sure it must be simple, can someone help me out. Thanks.
I feel a bit stupid now. After uninstalling all third party launchers and re-installing them, I now have all the correct options to edit the dock icons.

is there any way to change the stock icon in the touchwiz lock screen? I can use desktop visualizer to create the shortcut with new icon on the dock, but touchwiz lock screen icons I cannot change to customize.

Hi, I recently installed some launchers and set one to be my default launcher for when i hit the home button. I know that if i go into the app managment page i can reset the default and then set touchwiz as the default however that is not my question.
My question is: Can i create a shortcut to go to the touchwiz launcher without resetting the default launcher? The other launchers i have installed have app icons so i can just click them and they open however touchwiz does not. Does anyone know how to make a touchwiz icon or some way to easily change the default launcher?
Thanks in advance :good:
Try Minimalistic text. You can use it to create a widget to launch TW Home.
