Extract files from your rom zip file, they will be like dialer.apk, phonebook.apk etc from folder /system/app. Send them to phone in system/app
Or reflash your rom without wiping data.

Request for some apps file

Hi guys,
I have recently make a wrong decision with my Gs2. I tried to use Titanium backup to change All Sharing and Social Hub as a User Application. And that result in these apps disappear from my phone. I tired to put the dlna.apk and social-hub.apk back to the "system/app" while nth new come back after a reboot. I think that's because i miss the odex file related to the apps. As I am using Offical Hong Kong Rom KG2, would somebody like to help me by uploading those files [dlna, social hub apk&odex]
Thanks

Thx for your help.
I have tried this list and put those apk in to system/app, yet the program have not come back even after a reboot.....
I use Root Explorer for installing .apk files.
Can you not download Social Hub and DNLA via Samsung Apps?

I got those APKs from the list you have posted.
And install them by using root explorer
My way to install is to move from sdcard to "/system/app"
I even changed the permission of the apks but still they don come back
thanks!

I never move them before installing - just put them on internal SD and install from there. Try it?

yeah i have tried it and it keeps reproting Application not installed
Try applications>manage applications>clear cache and maybe clear data for those apps if they are there.
Otherwise I'm out of ideas...

Good luck. Don't suppose you've got a full backup via CWM or you'd have reflashed it, right?

yeah, and gonna try to flash some awesome rom too
Attached are both apps' apk & odex files.
Hope it helps mate
I don't think you can install system files with root explorer, you need to flash it through recovery. I was having the same problem and flashing worked for me.

You just push them to the /system/app/ folder and reboot - that's all a recovery zip would do.
Thx Guys!!!!
My finally method was reflash the official rom..... that nearlly kill me as i have to reorder the application icon which take me an hour to finish that....
I don know how to use the recovery method but hope this post would help others who face the same problems.
Btw is there any apps to backup the order of icon in Application page? Rearranging them again is damn horrible if u got tons of apps......

Accidentally deleted the stock Camera.apk

So I was using Titanium Backup and accidentally deleted the camera app without a backup so I am hoping someone can send me the Note I717 stock camera APK...thank you!
galaxy note I717 camera.apk
I tried sending via PM but evidently the site was having problems with me sending a PM. I would be more than happy to send it to you. What is your email address?
[email protected]
thank you so much
you should have mail (;
i got it thanks, but the app will not install, do i drop the file in a specific folder?
should go in "system/app"
im gonna have to odin reflash the stock software cause it's not working, thank you for all your help tho, i do appreciate it
You're welcome, sorry it didn't work out for you.

Glad to hear that.
This same thing happend too me today, I was trying to install a mod for the samsungcamera.apk and i copied a back up of the camera.apk and went to install the modded one but it wont let me..so i said screw it ill go back to the stock one..and when i click on it too install it says application not installed.
Soo..in other words im SOL but ill have a look around and see where i can find a resolution. The problem isnt that i dont have the stock camera.apk cuz i do have a back up its just it refuses too install now... ughhh Lol
***UPDATE***
I could not install the samsungcamera.apk stock & the modded one.
I tried everything possible..flashing it through cwm as a .zip file & had signature verification turned off
even tried copying and pasting manually..
What I just resorted to just installing camera360 from the playstore..
this solved my issue of not having a camera at all.
Remember i tried re-installing the original camera.apk that i backed up and for some
reason it wouldnt let me install it. Dunno if it had to do with permissions or just because its a system app.
But im glad i have camera360 i have alot of new features and filters Go filters!! haha
still if anyone has a resolution to installing the apk let us now im desperate!!!

Try moving it with a root explorer to your system and setting the write permissions.

Urgent Help Needed!!!

I use an LG Exceed 2 and like a month ago I went into superuser and deleted some android files which came with the system, I factory reset it and now it says "Unfortunately, LGSetupWizard has stopped." Is there a way I could recover those files at all? I went into Safe Mode and it said the same thing! Please help!
You will have to refresh the stock software.

You need to either reflash the system, or find TWRP flashable zip of your current OS, extract it and copy the items you deleted. Or you can try editing build.prop and change "ro.setupwizard.mode" value to "DISABLED". It might work after reboot

How would I do that?
maybe u deleted the setup files that we use after booting a new rom or killed the launcher.
Just copy the files u deleted by recovery or reflash ur built in rom.

do u have ur stock rom?
if yes..
Then..
1)extract your rom with any archiver software.
ex-winrar,zarchiver
for pc - winzip etc
(pro version recommended)
There's an app called setup wizard.
(it depends on your rom.
On samsung stock its samsung setup wizard, on cm its cyanogenmod setup wiz)
U will see something like that on your
rom/system/app or priv-app/here
copy that one to ur phone's root/system/app or priv-app
exactly where its located on ur stock rom.
(u need a root explorer software to put that in ur system)
Easiest way is find ur stock rom and flash it.
If u r new to this things, get help from somebody who knows.

Try using Tools -> Backup, to SD Card. Then reset phone. After resetting and during the setup process choose to restore from SD Card.
Factory reset will work...

No it won't.
Factory reset only resets /data.
Camera is located in /product/app/HwCamera2
@Trickbe you could download your firmwares update.zip from pro-teammt.ru/firmware-database/ and extract update.app from it.
Download Huawei Update Extractor and open it. Go to settings and disable Header Check. Go back to Extract tab and open up update.app.
In here extract PRODUCT.
Now download simg2img https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general/dev-simg2img-windows-t3156459
Run it on PRODUCT.img, extract Product.img using 7zip.
Copy /product/app/HwCamera2 folder to phone, place in /product/app/, set permissions 0755 for folders, 0644 for apk and libs.
As for your initial problem, using a custom kernel (HyperKernel in this case as it's the only one) causes camera to break on firmware from April and forward. This is due to Huawei updating their kernel without updating source.
