JasonStein said:
Since I don't have much time to keep on updating my BlendMIUI so I decided to writte a program to give you guys the chance to build BlendMIUI for your own with latest MIUI sources in just few minutes!
Q:What is BlendMIUI Speed-Porting Software For XPERIA 2011
Ans:This is a short program trying to help you guys to build your own BlendMIUI rom for Xperia 2011 in just few minutes.
Q:How to use it?
Unlock Bootloader first!
1.Download BMSPS(BlendMIUI Speed-Porting Software) then unpack it to anywhere you like(Windows environment).Btw,you should install JAVA SE JRE first or it won't works because it needs JAVA environment to sign the rom.You can goto oracle.com/java to download the latest Java SE JRE.
2.Download latest MIUI rom for Desire HD from miui.us(or anywhere you want).
3.Rename the rom you just downloaded as MIUI.zip then put it into BMSPS/MIUI_DHD_ROM directory.(Do not rename it as MIUI.zip.zip!)
4.Run BMSPS_luancher.exe to start.
5.Do as follows then it will automatically create update.zip under the BMSPS directory.
Then you have two choices:
=>Help youself:
6.Put the update.zip rom to your SD-card.
7.Flash BlendMIUI kernel(I have put it into \BlendMIUI-kernel directory) or DooMKernel for MIUI.
8.Use CWM-recovery to flash the update.zip rom.
=>Use Auto-Flash Function
You don't need to do anything on your phone,it will help you to do all works automatically and boot into the new system!
Features:
1.Support Devices: Xperia Arc,Xperia Arc S,Xperia NEO,Xperia NEO V,Xperia Ray.
2.Latest CM7.2.0 rebuilted sources as base.
3.Automatically port MIUI for your device then output unpdate.zip and sign the rom to let you flash it into your device directly.
4.Your choice Function (addons)
5.Fully working Auto-Flash Function
P.S: CM7 sources and kernel for XPERIA RAY are come from bheremans.
Changelog for Version 02:
1.Add moded Packageinstall to let you chose where you would like to install your apps including SD-card.
2.Fixed function to remind you to install java-jre if update.zip is not created.
3.Small changes.
Changelog for Version 03:
1.Fixed PackageInstaller and Torch FC problem when using the ROM from www.miui.com as base.
2.Automatically recognize MIUI version (Depends on the MIUI rom you use) and change Build version for porting rom.
3.Add "Your Choice" function to help you customize your own BlendMIUI rom(BlendUI,DSPManager,Tweaks,Audios from SE).
4.[For DEVs] Whole-New Source code:More easy to read, more easy to add new language(I mean the BMSPS itself) and new functions.
Changelog for Version 04:
1.Disable echoing information for better display.
2.Fixes and improve performance of BMSPS.
3.Add "Auto-Flash" function to help you flash BlendMIUI automatically
Changelog for Version 04.3:
1.Add Xperia Ray ST18i support(All sources for Xperia Ray are come from bheremans).
2.Fixed Auto-Flash function.
3.Fixed ADB Detective bug which cause the software stuck at entering into Auto-Flash function when you input "yes".
Changelog for Version 04.7:

2.Fully working Auto-Flash function (You don't need to do anything on your phone now until it boots into the new system.BMSPS will help you to do everything automatically.)
3.Some small changes
WARNING:This is not an update-package and you'd better delete all old files if you have installed early version of BMSPS.
Make sure you have unlocked bootloader before using this tool.Baseband 56 is recommanded.

[ROM] X8 | HACKDROID ROMS [31-July-11]

Hi guys,
as the title says, I managed to port the Hero/Legend/Gratia/Aria ROMs with Sense to our X8.
To install use xRecovery, busybox+xrecovery preinstalled in rom so you can restore backups after.
If upgrading from my previous rom to newer version, do Advanced Restore and restore only /system partition, all your data will be preserved.
These roms REQUIRE latest baseband version xxx15
Take the new baseband and flasher from my server here
or just the firmware if you have the flash tool already, here
Check if u need update by typing "busybox uname -a", u need this (notice date) :
Linux localhost 2.6.29 #1 PREEMPT Fri Dec 17 18:35:45 2010 armv6l GNU/Linux

Updated 10-Feb-2011 :
Cookers only
Here is the tool to check library dependencies in roms.
ld-linux
It is arm-compiled, to setup do these steps :
adb push ld-linux /system/bin/
adb shell
chmod 04755 /system/bin/ld-linux
To see library dependencies run ld-linux on any .so file and it will give u the list.
To install your cooked Floyo rom built from sources, put this script update-script
into
/META-INF/com/google/android/ directory inside update.zip, delete both update-binary and updater-script from it and copy to SDcard.
Now use xRecovery to install it normally.
Once installed, and BEFORE REBOOT reinstall xRecovery files into /system/bin/ directory.
You should also extract original boot.img files into /system/bin/ramdisk.tar and install chargemon from one of my Floyo roms.
To enable adb root and debug mode, put property.tar to /system/bin/ - take it from Floyo rom.
Now it should boot.
If you don't see boot animation of Floyo, try replacing /system/lib/libgsl.so
To fix sound, replace libaudio.so
To fix Vibra and Leds : libhardware_legacy.so
make sure these programs start fine before going further :
app_process
mediaserver
surfaceflinger
If one of these 3 fails, it won't boot.
The following are for network and gsm :
ifconfig
netcfg
dhcpcd
rild
wpa_supplicant - make sure if you run it manually, reported interface is wlan0 and not tiwlan0
The fixes required for ramdisk.tar :
init.rc file should have 2 parts from original sony init.rc that are marked as #SEMC
add original init.delta.rc and init.delta.sh from sony or one of my ramdisks, those are responsible for service declarations.
Rom patching modifications :
/system/etc/firmware/ dir
/system/etc/sensors* files
/system/etc/*.sh files
/system/lib/hw/ dir
/system/lib/modules/ dir
Those are probably required for every rom..
anyone tried it?
ps. i have xrecovery in the moment. If I restore this with xrecovery, will I be able to go by to my backup afterwards?

[RECOVERY] TWRP 2.4.3 (downloads + DIY How-to) [for CM10/AOKP/PAC-man]

DISCLAIMER: I own Xperia X10, Xperia J, Xperia Tipo, Xperia S and Xperia V, releases of all other phones are not personally tested by me. But since the kernel is the same in FXP/KXP ROMs I presume they would not harm your device in any way
Huge props go to all TeamWIn people like Dees_Troy and bigbiff and everyone else for developing this awesome recovery and lots of thanks to FreeXperia Team (FXP, Kali-, codeworkx, bin4ry,) for maintaining device configs for Xperias
This recovery is embedded into the ramdisk of a normal AOKP 4.1.2 bootimage. The kernels are same as the latest AOKP released by KXP team. These kernels should work with FXP's CM10, and other ROM's based of it (KXP ROM, Pac-man, officialCM10 etc). These kernels will not work on stock/cm7/cm9/blah/blah/any other ROM.
INSTRUCTIONS :
1. Download the zip file for your device (twrp2.4.3-xxxxx.zip)
2. Extract the boot.img from zip on your PC, and copy the whole zip file on device's SDcard.
3. Fastboot the kernel using the terminal command
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
4. To enter recovery, when LED is pink press {vol up for 2012 models} or {vol down for 2011 models}
5. Flash zip that you kept in sdcard from recovery (wifi/OTG/etc will not work without proper modules flashed).
6. Enjoy

you can also see our merged commits to see the precise patch we applied on each repository to be able to build TWRP
http://smartdev.com.pl:8080/#/q/status:merged,n,z
BUILD FROM SOURCE
To build TWRP for your Xperia,
1. merge the patch to enable TWRP on your own device tree (for eg. http://smartdev.com.pl:8080/#/c/239/ for Xperia T)
2. replace /bootable/recovery folder with TWRP (as mentioned here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2069242)
3. If your build folder is not from CM, switch to CM's build folder (i.e the android_build repo)
4. lunch ; mka bootimage;
PORT TO STOCK/ICS/YOU-FAVOURITE-KERNEL
A boot.img consists of the kernel image and the ramdisk (additionally and optionally RPM.bin and commandline). If you want to use TWRP for some other kernel, you have to do this
1. decompile this boot.img (for 2011 models it's a true boot.img, for 2012 models, it's actually a kernel.elf file renamed to boot.img, so you have to decompile accourdingly. you can use my kernel kitchen to do the same)
2. replace the kernel zImage with the one from the kernel you want to port to
3. replace /sbin/ramdisk.cpio with the "UNCOMPRESSED" ramdisk of the kernel you want to port this to. (usually ramdisk is compressed with gzip i.e. ramdisk.cpio.gz. you need to uncompressed ramdisk image i.e. ramdisk.cpio)
4. do not touch anyother thing
5. pack it up into a boot.img (for 2011) or kernel.elf (for 2012) and fastboot it

[APP / Tool] Universal kernel flash [v1.09]

Thanks to frapeti to make it works with Galaxy Ace 2
Universal kernel flash tool
What does it do?
Finally you can flash kernels from an app, without android terminal emulator
Instructions:
It's pretty easy, just follow simple few steps:
- Press "Check compatibility button"
- Select a valid kernel image
- Flash
- Reboot
FAQ:
Does it increase binary counter? No
Do I need to be rooted? Yes, of course.
Why is it for? With this tool you can flash kernels without a PC in your Android, easy and safer than never, just select the kernel image, flash and reboot.
Why is it safer? It has MD5 checksum to verify that your file is not corrupt, you must want to check it before flashing...
I have soft bricked my device flashing an mp3 file (?) what can I do? Flash with odin again, you can optionally flash the kernel only.
Suported devices:
GT-I9070 running Jelly Bean
GT-I9070 running Gingerbread
GT-I9070P running Gingerbread
GT-I8160 running Jelly Bean
* If you want to add a device to the list pm details and a kernel thread to have an example and I will update as soon as possible.
