As you guys can probably tell I've had a few posts in xda and I'm no stranger to searching. But man, I am having a tough time finding the ATT Note on the right side selection thing. I just wanted to find that one thread that had like a crapload of 1200 x 800 wallpapers all in one big zip file, but man I can't even find the forum to search it! anyways, if someone can help me out I'd appreciate it.
Go to the AT&T Note subforum where it lists all of the other subforums and there should be a search function.

lol, that's just as hard to find on the main page, the only way I can find this is by typing it in the top right forum search.

You can search from the link in my signature below.
Also, you don't need to search for Note specific wallpapers. Any wallpaper with the note resolution will work on any other device.
Also, there is a free app called Wallpaper Wizardrii, https://play.google.com/store/apps/...S50d2lzdGVkYXBwcy53YWxscGFwZXJ3aXphcmRyaWkiXQ. It will stretch pictures to fit, among many other very usefull things.

Well basically, this girl I like, and me have the same phone, the Atrix 4G. Now I wanted to ask her to a dance, and wanna make an app for that, Something creative and original, like say plays a youtube video of me asking her to the dance, then opens up a prompt which says yes and no, if she selects yes, her phone calls/texts me the answer, what is your opinion on this? the Power button and quickly tap the Home button.
Discovered by accident while trying to turn off my phone.

seeing it is his first post EVER, I'm actually quite proud of this person...he actually did a "what's called a search" or probably "read" somewhere on google and instead of asking questions he actually tried to help people out...despite the fact that most android users know this...this might be help to someone just like him who is new to xda or android...heck if I asked my dad if he knew how to do it, he wouldn't know...we have to realize that out of all the people who own android devices only a small fraction of people actually take advantage of what android has to offer and how to use use their devices (and not only cell phones) the right way...I am constantly bombarded from friends and family to go fix their computer, TV. cable box. phones. People just don't understand things

Actually, he did not search at all from my understanding. I'm not trying to be an ass, I'm just saying. From his OP, he states that he accidently found out how to take screen shots with the stock, none rooted rom when trying to turn off his device. Right away he posted the method up and I can bet without any search if that was a known feature for the amaze.
I'm pretty sure if you search Google, it will let you know thats a known stock feature for the amaze. But I guess you can give him credit for trying to help.

The funny thing about this, I had no idea this was a stock feature. (Granted I used stock for about the 5 hours I had the device and didn't read the manual)

No I'm not hating at all, I was actually commending the OP, just like I mentioned previously. I was merely pointing out the fact that with a little google search things can be found very easily...this is in no way against what the op did, trying to share what he thought was usefull information for many, and probably is for many who are new to android!!

Have been seeing a recent trend lately so I thought this may help.
If you are a noob or if you just have a plane old question and you are feeling a little too lazy to read through the forms then this is what you do before you start a new thread about your problem. (99% of the time your problem has already been talked about)
For the xda app go to the °more° tab and click on the little eye glass and simply type in your question or some key words of the problem you are having.
Now for the web page for xda this may be a little more difficult but stick with me alright. There is a bar that says search, type in your question or key words of your question and see if you can find what you are looking for. Now for the advance users look around for a topic that you have a question about in the respected form area (I.E. development or q and a) and search key word of your problem and search that form for your answer or you can read the form in its entirety (Recommended method).
Hope this helps and it’s not meant to be rude but I think it’s a noticeable problem lately.

The problem with one thread is it will have 10k posts about how s off failed and I need help and you won't be able to Wade through it.

Do you want to go completely stock, or flash a stock Rom and keep root? I can't post link from my phone, but in dev section there is a list of rooted and deodexed completely stock roms. Hope this helps. Just flash like a custom Rom from recovery.

Therefore, simply search there and you'd not have the need to worry about broken links. You're not a n00b, can we let this go please? Some people get frustrated seeing the same thing being posted again and again, that's why most users will post a rude response, though I wouldn't say GG was rude, it didn't even seem to be directed at anyone in specific, anyways, my point is, the bible thread was created to lessen questions being asked and also simplify the doing of everything that's currently possible on this device, so you can't really be mad at anyone responding in a blank manner either. But on the other hand, just let it go, try to read around, if you find a broken link or so, post it in the relevant thread and if you think the OP is a nice enough individual to accept a PM, then shoot them a PM and sort it out that way, no need to get hostile, okay? I've seen mixed feelings about the switch, in my group, some prefer their nexus, some sold theirs, some kept both, which half of them used the nexus more, so it's bit of an iffy situation, to be honest, I love my nexus, this one is better than the first one I got, so I just may stick to it, though if given the opportunity to swap, I will try out the s3 knowing I could always swap it back since someone will want one.

Phone is the real deal. Display is amazing... BUT so is the nexus and every other sammy display. My buddy has the nexus amd loves it...
And the S3 for tmo has Cyanogen himself posting REAL CM9 AND CM10 for us which is as good as it gets

Going by your other post you are already unlocked and rooted. That is the main step you needed to accomplish.
Before doing anything, do research. There are guides everywhere on how to flash roms. YouTube has hundreds of videos that have step by step instructions on what to do.
Research so you have an idea of what is going on, then come back here and ask questions you have. It makes everything a lot easier for you and for people helping if you have a general idea of what is going on.

Network Flash
Yea I don't know why i did that but do i need to do all that to network flash my phone my self im jus asking before i go look up all that

I think you need to be a little more clear on what you are trying to accomplish. Are you trying to just flash a rom? Or are you trying to use a Verizon I605 on another network?

Honestly you need to look up everything you can about flashing because the more you know the less chance you have of screwing your phone up. Research, read, read, read, if you have questions ask them, then flash or do whatever you want to do.
You can ask for help but you at least need to do your research and reading, otherwise it makes you look lazy.

If that's what you are trying to do, the other thread you posted in has everything you need. Go back there and actually read the information. To me, it looks like you want to be spoon fed everything. That isn't going to be useful down the road when you screw something up and have no idea what to do.
