Alright so i am downloading youtube videos thru an app in my Streak. And the format is either in .flv or .mp4. I tried a few video players like Rock Player etc. Some couldnt even play them. Rock Player was able to play it with huge lags and only in software encoding mode. Hardware encoding wont let me play the video.
So any advice guys? Which video players do you use?
VitalPlayer
Tried VitalPlayer. It plays the videos for 1 secs and then go back to the main vitalplayer screen. Maybe the stock sdcard isnt fast enough...
VitalPlayer is the best I've seen so far...
What app are you using to download the videos? It could be doing a really bad encode. I would imagine that the youtube player should be able to play those videos if nothing else. Have you tried going into the file manager then playing them with the youtube player?
I like rockplayer.

Vitaplayer is great

Used Rockplayer but have now gone onto Vitalplayer it seems to play a bit smoother
with vplayer in 1.5.2 i was able to see all videos also from fb, on the 1.6.0 the vplayer crash on starting the app.
i tried vitaplayer and rockplayer, they works but cant see all the videos from fb, only some and only with rockplayer.....
Very disappointed with RockPlayer - same videos that play super smooth on VitalPlayer, lag as hell on Rockplayer.
For me - Vital Player wins for now
I`m on 318 stock.
Mp4 films go straight into the gallery and the stock player is perfect, every single other player ive used goes out of sync or glitchy, i recommend a korean app, search the market for avi, and its a blue film reel, you cant understand the settings(unless you know.korean) but its perfect for divx, avi, flv, mkv, everything ive come across

I tried rockplayer vplayer and vitalplayer. Vital is way better and 66% cheaper......definite winner

I've been happy with QQPlayer.
And I with Act 1 Video Player ! The most full-featured player for video media on your sdcard! Lots of unique features.
I've been using Rockplayer and that lagged with a few videos. Just tried Vitalplayer and it plays the same videos without any perceivable lag.
Is there any video player with HDMI support for Streak except the stock Gallery player which plays limited formats?
I felt "arcMedia" is a pretty good player!!
i like qqplayer,doubletwist,and mvideo player
use astro file to move videos around if need to

I use tubemate, save, then playback on mVideoPlayer while at the gym.
I also watch my regular movies on my Streak.
I use mVideoPlayer. It is my favorite. It allows playback in either landscape or portrait. It's perfect for playing music mix videos in the car.
The swipe is very intuitive. No need or further looking IMO.
I have tried many (ArcMedia, Rock Player, Movies, ESplayer) and I can tell you that VitalPlayer is the ONLY one that will play .wmv files on my Dell Streak running Froyo !!
Awesome player
I use MoboPlayer and MX Video Player. They are great players and play just about anything I throw at them, but I can't make them display embedded DVD covers. I use iTunes to add DVD covers to my Handbrake H.264 encoded movies (.M4V). My Apple TV2 can of course display the covers, but so can my PS3.
MoboPlayer and MX Video player show a thumbnail, but it is just a screen capture from the video file a few seconds into the file. I would like to see the DVD covers I added with iTunes. If my PS3 can display the cover art, it seems like my phone should be able to also. I know some players let you associate pictures with files by putting a picture in the folder, but I would much prefer to use the picture already embedded in the video file.
Any suggestions?
Hi!
i'm looking for a good video player for our tattoo, that can play video files smooth.
i've tried MOBO player and BS Player, but the video was not synced with sound.
can you help me?
cumpz!
Hi.
You can try MX Player.
Hello.
How about Act 1 video player. Or Meridian player. Although I use those on my chinese tablet, not on my Click, they are great video players.
Or you can try Seaman player, it's UI is ugly, but it's good player.
Pop Player (Speed-Control Video Player)
I highly recommend the free Pop Player app. I recently made a couple of reviews on it on YouTube.
This new video player allows the user to utilize speed-control. The slow-motion
and speeded-motion are extremely smooth too and audio syncs perfectly with
the video at any speed. It can definitely be useful for athletes and students.
Some people I know even use it to replay their golf swings in slow-motion
in order to improve their form.
This player plays MP4 files that contain H264 and AC codecs.
Check out my review of this app on youtube by searching "Pop Player Free Android App".
I suggest mx player
It has a good forward option, yet the best thing is the subtitle menu if you are watching a movie.
I have bubbleUPnP installed on a Samsung Galaxy 4 Tablet. When I enter the URL below into BubbleUPnP, (I've had to remove 'http' from the link so that this message would post)the app thinks it's a video and opens my video player app. It plays the sound but obviously it's not what I want. When I choose an external renderer to send to my HiFi, which is what I really want to do, then the screen shows the film strip image (instead of the headphone image for audio) and indicates it's a MP4 file and nothing happens. I'd be grateful for a fix to this problem as I'd like to be able to play the BBC 320Kb AAC streams to my HiFi.

Well sometimes I still use Windows Mobile 6 on my pocket pc
If I need to watch a Youtube video I just surf on m.youtube.com, I click on the video and then an external video player called Coreplayer automatically starts and I can watch the video (like any video stored in memory)
Is it possible to do this thing on Android? In which way?
