I am trying to upload images with either the build in Android browser or Dolphin Browser or Firefox on imagehosters like imgur or tinypic on my Samsung Galaxy S+ with XXKQ7 stock FW, but it always hangs right from the beginning.
On another forum I was told that uploading is a general issue on Android.
Is there more information about it?

I recently got myself a new phone called lg-l54c and I downloaded flash for armv6 but it didn't work on my default browser. So I searched the Market now known as Playstore for a compatible browser and I found that most browsers that said they were flash compatible would not work with my flash for armv6, so I searched a bit deeper and found a browser called Uc browser developed by ucweb and flash for armv6 worked! But I wanted to have my default browser to support flash for armv6 but I have not gotten it to. Throughout the market the only supporting browsers I found are Boltbrowser and UC web browser. I also searched the internet and found a browser called Firefox alpha but Firefox alpha is a very laggy browser so I really would rather use my default browser but like I said I can't get flash for armv6 working on my default browser please help me in doing so.
Try to search and download Dolphin Browser HD. It has an integrated flash on it. Hope that help .
Flash on ARMv6 is not Adobe supported so any apk you get is something created unofficially. They can be hard to get working on certain devices, some will require a custom ROM IIRC. Perhaps try looking for a flash apk that others have reported as working on your phone.

Flash for armv6 does not work on dolphin hd. Like I said: it only works on Firefox alpha, Uc browser, and boltbrowser. I miss boltbrowser so much! So is there anyway to get my default browser to play flash for armv6? My version of flash is flash 11.0 armv6.

Yes it doesn't work on the stock nor Dolphin HD browser.

Guys i don't know if this the right place to post, i apologize if there is already a thread or it's not just the right place.
2-3 days ago, right after flash a new rom for my Xperia Play i noticed stock browser (and other based stock browser's app of course) keep fc very often. My guess was the new rom i just flashed, but when i got back to Cyanogenmod, the problem was still there.
I did a little research on google and it seems i'm not alone, but the problem seems to clear with just de-activating Java Script (but in this way the browser is practically useless), but more important
THIS PROBLEMS SEEMS TO SHOW JUST FROM 3-4 DAYS AGO.
Something happened with Java plugin for Android?
Somebody else has this issue?
If u look around many threads have been created in the last 2 days about this problem, in forums all around internet, just search in google "stock browser ics crash" and filter "last 24 hours" ,no matter what rom \ device , but all ICS (or 4.1 too) with stock browser)
EDIT: if u wanna try: open http://www.badtaste.it/ and open 4 tabs on background...and then try it with Java Script OFF
EDIT II: I think has something to do with AD messagges...
EDIT III: It seems the only browsers are ok, are the ones NOT based on stock browser , so Chrome is ok...

As u can see int doesn't matter what device or rom, for example i ama on cyanogenmod 9 with xperia play

I have problems on all installed roms (cm10.1 and different 4.1.2 roms out there), and the problem is, that I can't open goo.gl or bit.ly webpages, or any url shortners. It just says webpage not available.
This happens on all browsers I have tested.

What could be wrong?
ps. It works fine on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 with stock browser.

I've been busy porting Cyanogenmod 12.1 to the HP Slate 21 (s100 and k100). I've a stable build which works really nice other than a few issues I've been trying to fix. The only browser the works is that stock one that comes with it. If I do Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox (or any other browser), it loads but shows a black screen. This was not an issue in the stock 4.4.2 version. I can provide logs, screenshots, etc if they are needed.

I'm developing a custom rom and I want to add a link to my website on the Homescreen / Launcher (so users will be able to check infos and updates about the rom)
1st Method: chrome
I searched on google "how to add an .html file on Android launcher /home screen" and every website I consulted just adviced me to download Chrome and use it to add bookmarks on the home screen.
The problem is that I'm making an Android 2.3 rom and I'm working on a device with limited storage, I don't want to download and install Chrome just to make a link...
2nd Method: apk with webview
I know how to develop a simple app in Android Studio that just uses a webview to display my website, but I don't want to use this method too because Android 2.3 webview is obsolete and I included a modern and lightweight browser in my rom. A whole apk to just open a webpage would be wasted
3rd Method: ?
I believe there's a way to put links to any file on the homescreen! Especially if the rom (pre)rooted like mine. Can you tell me how to do this, please?
