my x10i shows incorrect pincode after rooting.... am in india... pls help....
my mobile is showing in correct pin code and it is showing no service..
am in india....... if any one knows how to correct it help me....

It says in the picture "incorrect pin".
Why is it saying that.
And has all that crap happened just after you've flashed the rom,or was it working before.

what is the pin no. for sim pin unlock in achotjan_freexperia_semc_debrand_engine_v6.
it has'nt asked me any pin code........... what is the 4digit pin for sim pin unlock in achotjan_freexperia_semc_debrand_engine_v6.0_beta6.0.A.3.62

Every thing gone wrong only after i flashed a custom rom
yes, it is asking me only now, after i've rooted.....
everything was perfect before while am using the stock se rom 2.3.3 GB..........
ALL HAPPENED ONLY AFTER I FLASHED A CUSTOM ROM.......

What will happen if i flash a rom without the simlock.ta
CAN ANYBODY ANSWER ME WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I FLASH A ROM WITHOUT THE SIMLOCK.TA, WHICH IS PRESENT INSIDE THE CUSTOM ROM PACKAGE.........
IF I DID LIKE THAT WILL I GET RID OF THE SIM PIN PROBLEM....

I flashed a rom and when I switched on the phone, there was a screen asking for a sim unlock code.
All I done was press the button "dismiss",and the phone worked as normal.

is there any truley talented up here in this forum
only a truley talented developer can solve my "no sim recogniztion" and to install my se stock 2.3.3 camera in my rooted x10i with android 2.3.7 without any bugs..., wifi thereing problem, if the developer in this forum are really tallented solve my problem!!!! and prove yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe the developer doesn't care since you've slagged off his rom.
I used to be like you until I read Feras statement about "roms he creates as for his use and he shares them for people to try".

Right, so first: Have you unlocked your bootloader?
Second: Is your phone sim-unlocked? (In other words, are you able to use a sim card from another carrier in your phone?)
Third: If you haven't gotten your x10 sim-unlocked you're going to have to relock your bootloader.
Here is the tool to relock your bootloader.
Fourth: Assuming the above is all true, you need to sim-unlock your phone. You can either contact your cell carrier (if you bought the phone from them), or use one of the paid services online. I don't know which service can do it because I went with the cell carrier route
Hope I helped! If I did, don't forget to hit the 'thanks' button

Depends on your bootloader status. If u unlocked bl after SIM-unlock u may have broke radio. Revert back to stock and relock bl then u can start again

did unlocking bootloader kill my phone?

ok so i used the tool to check see if i could unlock my boot loader, which said i had the semc certificate so i could proceed,
i then unlocked my bootloader , instaled custom kernel from doomlord, now my phone only makes emergency calls someone did mention about if it wasnt unlocked properly , it would lose my radio, so it would seem this is what has happened,
now my question is, how do i sort it any advice is greatly apreciated, i have tried multiple roms, kernels,

(i can insert any sim card) ???
Nope,bootloader doesn't mean that u have your sim unlocked,its a different thing.

Careful buddy u gonna mess ur phone up. U have no reason to downgrade kernel now flashtool can do it all on 2.3.3. If u unlocked successfully then it will still be unlocked unless u relock it yourself (flashing new Rom/changing kernel etc will not relock it). Refer to various guides on bl unlock but be careful. That sounds like a recipe for disaster pal. (if u need help pm me but it sleep time for me now so it'll b tomoz)

Bootloader

I'm trying to solve a problem, but I realize that I need some help, and I think that my question could be someone's question too.
Is it possible to unlock the bootloader with the smartphone locked to Vodafone or other service provider? If not, how can I unlock the smartphone?
Yes, you can. My sim-card is also locked, i suggest you unlock bootloader from newest flashtool cuz it's easier.
Or use the guide by 9Lucas5 (use semc.bat)
I tried to use the 9Lucas5 guide but I've got no results, probably because I have emuled Windows on my MAC OS .
But I haven't tried with this new version of the flashtool yet. Do I need any firmware?

I have x10i too, but it didn't work. Tomorrow I will try again.
I have many times unlocked bootloader, perfectly know this procedure and has noticed, that sometimes it is possible to reach result, only by preliminary flashing of official 2.1 ROM. Certainly, thus it is not more necessary to do "kernel downgrade"

Use flashtool method not kernel up/down method it slightly old and flashtool is a one button method which doesn't require changing kernel in any way (from gb)

That's not what it does. It means that if u use a custom kernel it will boot into that straight away, saving time, rather than booting up semc kernel then custom one (hence why se logo disappears on boot)

I was able to unlock the bootloader by following this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=928343

[Q] [CM9] Simlock on Xperia Ray (urushi)

I've just installed CM9 (FXP 127) on my Xperia Ray and it happened to ask me for a sim unlocking code, which is weird since my phone is not sim locked and it worked well before on CM7. So I can only guess the problem comes from CM9, and I would like to know if their is anything I can do so it doesn't happen anymore.
Thanks.

PM the developer of the rom to remove the sim unlocking code in the rom or maybe your phone really have bootloader unlock allowed ; no
XDA Premium sent this message from owner of Sk17i
everybody what using cm9 with turned on data have this on boot.
