Can you suggest a good custom kernel, if I unlock bootloader?
And what is the best whey if I haw a locked bootloader?
What are benefits and downsides of unlocking bootloader?

[Xperia U] Is there a way to root Xperia U without unlocking bootloader?

I found Easy Rooting Toolkit [v4.0](zergRush Exploit) can root some Android phones without unlocking bootloader. But I didn't find if it works on Xperia U.
Does anyone know if it works properly on Xperia U?
Or is there another way to root Xperia U without unlocking bootloader?
Thanks.
No.
No man..
For root you need fastboot.. For fastboot you need to unlock the bootloader.
If you cant acces the fastboot you cant root...

The easiest way is using THE SEARCH BUTTON. In the dev section are instructions for both, locked and unlocked

Everything is out there
Im on locked i'v search already and all for the unlocked and the old frimware !!

Because it's pretty much the same. Unlock the bootloader and fastboot an auto rooting kernel. Just use a ics kernel instead of a gb one

Try using SEUS and PCC.. If they refuse to update/repair your phone, you have unlocked bootloader successfully !!

Just not rooted in easy package. It would be nice if it could be bundled like what DoomLord has done with the previous Sonys.
